“After exhaustive decision making and a recommendation I decided to visit Tuscano for my birthday dinner. Made a reservation and was a few minutes late(but within the time window) and the staff were very welcoming. We were seating and were delivered by far the best Italian bread I’ve had since moving to Austin. The Burrata Caprese was an excellent starter. Our mains were the Chicken Marsala and Brisket Bolognese. My Marsala was amazing and had an excellent flavor. I did get a bite of the Bolognese, may even give that a go next time. Our waiter extremely friendly and the bus staff were equally attentive. We’ll be back!”

“Wow. This place deserves 10 stars. It was truly great. I feel like it’s a hidden gem because it was not very busy.

Our server was awesome. She helped us decide what we should get. She also made us aware that kids eat free on Wednesday so as a bonus my son got catfish with fries. The fries are a new number one. Even once they cooled down they still hit. We also got their fried pickles which were delicious. The crab, corn and potatoes were perfectly done. We got mild butter garlic with some spicy butter garlic on the side. So yummy! We got two clusters of snow crab and one cluster of Dungeness. I wasn’t a fan of the Dungeness, nothing on the restaurant just wasn’t as good as the snow crab. We got beignets for dessert. Overall our total cost was $80. I would call that a win. Very happy overall and will definitely go back again.”

“We actually love this place and go often but I have to at least share a small detail that could have gone better. We ordered appetizers, wine, bottle of soke and then we shared a main meal of the Ribeye and spent over $130. All perfect. My wife ordered soda water and when I got the bill, the cost for soda water, off the bar-gun was $3.95. I asked the waitress and with a rare smirk, she said that was the cost because they had to use CO2 to make that water and that's not free. I was just taken aback and asked her did it really cost that much money to make free water into fizzy water and she said yes and that was the charge. We will think again before coming back here again as something very simple can cost you way more than $3.95 and she could have easily taken the cost off and made a great night for us even better. Please check your receipts before paying is the best advice I can give and for sure, ask if fizzy water is going to cost you half as much as a full glass of wine. JP”

I specifically want to review the darts. This bar has multiple dartboards and is a non-smoking venue. At the time of writing this they hold dart tournament nights every Wednesday and Sunday, starting at 7:30pm, $10 entry. There are cash prizes which is cool, and all skill levels are welcomed to join. You can play darts at any time here too not just on tournament days, so bring your darts, bring your friends, have some drinks and make some memories.”

I keep thinking I’m done writing but one more — every pizza place just happens to “throw” a couple dry/bland salads on the menu, but Kizza has a MEAN, lush salad. Definitely meal worthy for light and heavy eaters alike.”

“Vibes here are so good. The staff were really friendly, patient, and kind while giving me a drink suggestion. The drink definitely skew sweet. I ordered 75% sweetness and it tasted more like 100% sweetness at other places. I liked the lemon green tea with tapioca a lot. I found it so refreshing and tasty and somehow healing. The boba was perfectly soft, chewy, and sweet.

I also ordered the waffle. It was fresh, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. The staff were generous and gave me some toppings bc my first waffle burned. Can’t emphasize how great the staff were. The regular topping tastes like cheese foam and it was really tasty. I also got to sample the taro spread topping option. It tasted like cream cheese w taro powder mixed in. Not my cup of tea but I’m sure others will enjoy it

Kids ate up all their cheese dosas without fuss, the chicken 65 was very tender and just the right level of spice, something not a lot of restaurants get right. The stuffed onion dosas were just amazing, very unique flavor/ tasty. They have a nice ambience, with darts and good music, also shaded under trees. We will be back!!!”

“Torchy's is a street taco specialist that started up as a food truck in Austin and has now expanded to over 90 restaurants across the States including this place on Whitestone Blvd. in Cedar Park. They have a fair sized indoor seating area as well as outdoor tables. You can do take-away and delivery as well. Menu features a few not-taco and side items along with their signature list soft tacos that are really good. We had dinner here recently amongst friends, tried 6-7 of their different tacos, let's just say that nobody complained and we gladly finished them all. Torchy's is a neat place that is family friendly and a good spot to meet up with friends. Prices are reasonable, range of taco options good and they seem to know what they are doing in the kitchen. Would gladly eat here again and do take-away for meals at home.”

Honest Mary is a fast-casual kitchen preparing vegetarian, gluten-free and healthy bowls at their two branches in Austin. We stopped by recently and did their Sedona Lime and Med Harissa Bowl, both were freshly prepared and tasted very good. You can also do custom bowls choosing your own proteins, rice/salad base and other food items/sauces. Prices are about right for the food quality and portion sizes served. Seating area is a regular, casual restaurant and bowls are prepared fairly quickly.”

This is my second time coming to this location and both times I was greeted by every worker, and they ensured that my order was taken correctly and quickly. The lady who took my order even recommended to try their Datil pepper sauce on my sandwich and man was that a top tier recommendation. This location deserves praise and recognition.

We had a half chicken meal and chicken taquitos--both very tasty! The 5 chicken taquitos came on double mini corn tortillas topped with onion and cilantro. Coupled with a small side of guacamole and some salsa, there was enough to turn the 5 taquitos into 10 with the doubled tortillas. The sweet plantains were a nice side too. Surprisingly, the queso came topped with some sort of shredded beef-a lot of it-which was a surprise. I don't eat beef, so I skipped it. The queso was primarily for my son, and he would have preferred it without meat added too; he tried to scoop out the beef to discard, but it was pretty well integrated into the cheese.”
