“Another maiden voyage that did not disappoint. This place was awesome. We had reservations for 6, and we seated promptly. We sat on the patio. Wine and bubbles and Bruchettas were a good start. Our table had 2 pizzas, and the steak salad was great. There was a chicken dish, I did not catch the name. You must give it a try. We will return again. I wish I would have thought to take some pictures.“
“There is plenty of room to walk between the tables! The food was quickly served. Great presentation of my food. The waiter was genuine. Several were just naturally friendly, even the 2 young ladies that greeted us at entry and then lead us to our table. The pickled onions on my fish taco were a delicious touch. Thank you“
“Hospitality is very important in Greek culture and it definitely shows in how they treat their guests. The restaurant itself is warm, clean, and inviting and the waitstaff are friendly and accommodating. I must confess that Greek food is not my favorite cuisine, but I had the chicken gyro which was quite tasty. Pricing is reasonable and the food was quick enough that you can definitely just swing in for a quick lunch. The dog friendly patio looks spacious and welcoming. The only downside I can see is that it’s easy to overlook this gem if you’re not specifically looking for it. I hope these good folks get discovered by more people so their business can grow and thrive.Kid-friendliness: Very wholesome family atmosphere“
“AKB hotel bar inside The Archer Hotel.Friendly, attentive and prompt staff and service.Lovely views, welcoming atmosphere and cozy Texas ambiance, restaurant is kid friendly and conveniently located inside The Archer on the North side of The Domain area.Brick oven pizza while very cheesy was just okay. Menus included a variety of unique appetizers, entrees and signature drinks. The bartender offered a small sample of selections we were considering which was a nice option.Would recommend stopping by if in the area.Parking: Parking available street-side or in the Nordstrom parking garage. The Domain also offers valet service.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly seating areas, inviting and interesting area .“
“Pick up day for Wine club! Great atmosphere with good friends!Although it was a great experience, I thought our waitress seemed too busy to take the time to explain about the wine we sampled. We had to wait a bit longer then would have liked to get our next round.I was told that because I was a wine member I wouldn’t receive the 50% off a glass for my review?? She was a bit hasty with her remarks throughout the evening.I will be back hopefully next time we can have some different to wait in us. ?“
“Nice little cozy Mexican and Italian fusion place we recently discovered in the Round rock area . Ambiance was very pretty with a Mexican theme going on . The food had two sections - one Italian based and the other was Mexican based . We ordered one on each side - pollo ala chipotle and pollo con pasta (marinara based). The Mexican chipotle chicken was exceptional with tender cooked chicken and salsa was amazing and one of the most authentic ones we have tasted in Texas! The pollo con pasta was a bit disappointing because the chicken had a raw smell and pasta okay . Would not order that dish again and can try the white sauce based dishes next time . They had both wine and cocktails which worked for our pairing of dishes . One of the strongest margaritas we have tasted ! Our waitress was acting a bit non responsive initially but later was communicative . Would return here for the Mexican dishes, ambiance and cocktails !“
“Have been to this Flemings Domain location before and again recently to celebrate my birthday. The food was outstanding. Amazing appetizers, steak selection and sides. Exceptional service by the servers, and manager Christian M. ensured my birthday dining experience was memorable. Highly recommend this location!!!“
“Wonderful, cozy wine bar! The staff at this location have always been so kind. I love the ambiance of this location. It almost feels as if you're enjoying a glass of wine at a friend's house. They offer a wide variety of wines to try, and they allow you to bring in food. I've seen folks bring in full charcuterie boards to enjoy with their wine. Be aware that these wines are fresh, so they have a bit of a different flavor than the wine you pick up at the store. Everything they offer is sulfite free. My favorite wine has been a whiskey barrel aged cab that is seasonal - try it out if you get a chance! PRO TIP: If you're hungry, order from Eldorado Cafe (another amazing local business) next door. Tell them you're at Water 2 Wine and they Eldorado staff will walk it over to you when your order is ready.“
“What a truly relaxing experience. My partner and I came here to have an afternoon for ourselves. The interior was so cute with comfy chairs and various spots to sit. We drank a few glasses of wine and beer and ordered some small plates. The Sauvignon Blanc was so crisp. The smoked Gouda pimento dip was really good. Service was amazing, attentive, and genuinely so friendly. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu.“
“If you're looking for a REAL wine bar in Austin with wonderful choices of exceptional and unusual wines and complimentary cuisine in perfect pairings - Aviary is the place. The staff were friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and obviously loved where they work. Each main dish and salad were fresh, perfectly prepared, flavorfully creative and very delicious. I've got to say, don't miss the amazing Tulsi and Thai basil ice cream with the olive oil cake for dessert. The Palo Santo ice cream was also quite a unique treat, but the serving could've been bigger to share. Charmng, colorful, upbeat, non pretentious, moderately quiet with good acoustics thoughout so we could enjoy our conversation without raising our voices. Thank you Aviary for making our celebration special.A great experience!“
“This place is very unique and comfortable. Limited menu of well chosen sandwiches and appetizers. We didn't drink, but the bar looked amazing. The sign outside does not say The Watering Trough, so it was hard to find until I looked at the picture of the building.Kid-friendliness: Only three tables of people when we were there but we all had kids with us. Noon on a Sunday.Wheelchair accessibility: Our son is not in a wheelchair but has mobility issues and development delays, so I am always looking for places without stairs and wide open spaces between tables. The staff were patient while he ordered his own food and spoke to him kindly, rather than talking to me for him. I appreciate that so much!“
“My wife and I have wanted to visit and finally just did and damn glad we did. Sat on a nice patio with breeze and nice sky and sunset views around a massive oak tree. Reuben, the manager took care of us extremely well. We chose a couple different glasses that he gave great views on and was right on the money. The white truffle popcorn with butter, Parm and parsley was great but Danielle's pizza was awesome. Chatted with Ruben once done and he made us want to become regulars here. Met owners Danielle and Jeff, and complimented both on the food. Looking forward to our next visit for the Good Stock dinner with wines event. This place is a local gem and so glad we finally "discovered" it!!!!“
“We had a new server but they were committed to training her and providing us with the best experience. She provided good recommendations for our flights and offered cordial conversation as we’re new to the area. We will definitely be back. We only have the food 4 stars because it was food but the portions were on the smaller side for the charcuterie plate we ordered.Kid-friendliness: There were a drop of families next to us that had kids aged 8-10 with them playing outside. They weren’t too much of a disruption. The environment was definitely kid friendly.“
“I was a few minutes late our server Marissa was super accommodating. The goat cheese beignets were everything I wanted them to be, the staff did not skimp on the champagne for the mimosas, and the cobbsalad was excellent. CEU'S chef was gracious enough to come by our table to give us a quick lesson on black and white truffles. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“I have visited Mandola’s once before and we have enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It was packed but we got a seat at the bar where we ordered Eggplant Parmigiana and my husband got Spaghetti and meatballs. We also love the complimentary bread.Kid-friendliness: There’s an outside play area that was filled with kids. Great place for parents to enjoy their meal while the kids play.“
