“This is now called Carol's Ice House and was a sweet treat to visit! Loved the boutique store attached. Atmosphere was great. Carol was a supreme hostess! This was a wonderful, scenic drive for me coming from Montgomery. I definitely will come back in the summer because it would be nice to sit out back.“

“This place might be the coolest little bar in Texas. Off the beaten path, you pull up to what feels like an old gas station. Inside, the bar area has retro tables and chairs, old tail ends of classic vehicles-turned comfy couches and a bar that invites you to sit down and share a beer with Chuck, the owner (whose stories are just as incredible as the place he built). Attached to the bar is an antique shop that showcases more of Chuck's craftmanship, his love for classic cars and one-of-a-kind finds you probably won't see anywhere else.If I ever find my way back to Texas, Iron Eagle will be my first stop.“

“Was stranded in Brenham for an hour, and this great Texas local bar had awesome drinks and warm southern people. The neighboring mechanics, fixed me up before I down too many. Great atmosphere, great people, great drinks. If you got an hour and your in town check out this diverse awesome lil bar.“

“Went with a group of ladies I work with for dinner and wine. Good selection of wine, had the humas plate was enough for the 4 of us and for dinner split a pizza and entrée between the 4 of us.Only complaint is the lights are very dim. We have to use our phone lights to read the menu. Other than that nice place. There is limited parking but they offer a nice outdoor area“

“In town for a wedding and decided to try the only 5 star in town. What a great small town bar. The owners were there and they make you feel right at home. Free snacks are a great bonus. Karaoke is always fun but this place does it like real pros. There is probably not a better place to hang on the weekend when you are in Brenham than with Mike and Sandy.“

“This place is decorated in the traditional old fisherman style. It's cozy, casual, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and allowed you to relax and take your time. We ordered boudain balls, calamari, and sorlion with grilled shrimp. Everything was cooked perfectly, well seasoned, and delicious. The outside of the building doesn't look like much but it is worth walking into.“
