“This was the best place to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious and the restaurant is clean and comfy. The owner and his wife were there to personally wish me a happy birthday. Try the poached pear for dessert; one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Congratulations Dave on a restaurant I’ll definitely visit again!“

“Amazing… food was really good and the server knew all about each menu item and wasn’t shy about making recommendations when asked! Bring someone with you and check this place out!Parking could be better but I’d walk a mile after the food and service.“

“Great outdoor hangout, fire pit, wine, beer, friendly staff. Only thing that would make it over the top is if the bar staff would come around and check on people and maybe offer a refill/glass. Been here twice now and each meal we've had was very good, it didnse though that no matter what meal was chosen the side was green beans, would have been nice to have a bit of variety.“

“First, we were greeted by Paisley, who was very nice. She had a larger group (I was there with my husband) to seat in front of us, and she kept apologizing for the wait. When she got back, I requested a booth, and she took me right over and said that she seated me with one of the best servers, which I thought was so nice of her to say. Our server was Grace R. She was, indeed, awesome! After talking to her a bit, we found out she was fairly new to the restaurant but had been in the service industry for years! VERY knowledgeable, professional, and friendly! She cleared away dirty dishes, kept our drinks filled and checked on us regularly. Now on to the food! We started with the lobster bisque and it was delicious! Nice and hot, with crumbled lobster on top. Next came the wedge salad, which was crispy and fresh. I love that it was served on a large plate to make it easier to cut up. The dressing was chunky and flavorful! The next part of our lunch was the coconut shrimp. Large shrimp, fried to a crisp and nice and hot with a tasty doing sauce. We love the atmosphere at this location, as it was an old Post Office and you can still see many of the vintage pieces and decor. We've airways had good food there and decided it was time to write a review!“

“Went to this place with friends after another place was closed. Staff was friendly. We had the some appetizers like the gyoza dumplings (pork) fried that was really good. Also the Edamame and Jalapeño Lagoon which is jalapeño deep fried with cream cheese and crab meat. I had the Avocado roll which has Chicken Tempura, avocado, cucumber and sushi rice. Normally they would top it with spicy crab but I asked to have mine without the crab. It was really good. Got our food quickly. My friends enjoyed the different rolls they ordered. Will definitely come back again since there are other things in the menu I want to try. It is also reasonably priced.“

“My wife and I are here for a reunion. We're staying nearby and love Mediterranean food. Pasha's was near and we dropped by blind. This is the best decision. We came in right after the lunch rush and though the restaurant was still somewhat full we were quickly seated and our drink orders were taken. The drinks were brought along with a very large warm pita and a dish filled olive oil, feta cheese, and, ground oregano (?). I could have made a meal of that alone! My wife order salmon with rice and I order the lamb shank stew. After a short wait, the meals were brought to the table. Please understand, I'm a big man with a huge appetite. The moment I saw my plate, I knew I was going to need a "to-go" box. If you and your significant other love a hearty meal but you don't eat large portions, I recommend ordering one and sharing this!. I trave the world, this is the best lamb shank stew I have ever had! The meat falls off the bone and the flavors explode! The salmon, according to my wife was grilled to perfection. A light crust on the outside and very moist on the inside. During our meal, the owner would visit every table to see how his staff was doing. Our server was outstanding and we showed our appreciation to him. After dinner, we ordered baklava (both pistachio and cashew) to-go. (I took a bite of the pistachio already, it's homemade and quite delicious.) The next time we're back in San Antonio, this will be a mandatory stop. For those who live near here, please put this on one of your places to visit. I promise you, it will not disappoint.“

“We came here because I was craving sushi and my wife was craving Chinese food. I saw on their photos that they had both. Unfortunately when we walked in they had a big sign saying no sushi at this time. I was disappointed but still wanted to give them a shot. And I'm glad I did. Our waitress and the food were great. We had the eggrolls to start then I had the lemon chicken and my wife had the general tsos. I was fine with the sticky rice that it came with but my wife got the fried rice and it was $3 more. I thought that was a little excessive but maybe that's just me. But we'll definitely be back to try more of their dishes. Their menu is extensive!Lemon chicken“

“I have made this Diner a frequent stop for Breakfast and sometimes dinner. The staff is very friendly and go beyond their normal routine to help you out. The food is always delicious and the coffee is the best around. I come from an area where the pork tenderloin is a major menu item. Here their pork cutlet is the closest I have found around. I just wish it was on the menu more than once a week.“

“This place is a gem. We live in Seguin and it's a much shorter drive than having to go all the way into San Antonio. Everything was tasty but we're very glad we thought to ask "what's the one thing we can't miss?" Because that thing is the kimchi fries! It's not an obvious choice/combo but it's absolutely delicious! Got drinks inside the permanent bar and they were cheap and tasty. We will definitely be making this place a regular stop!“

“Highly recommend this spot. We ordered breadsticks as our appetizer. My husband ordered the 10 inch pothole pizza, and I got the calzone with mushrooms and artichokes. Everything was awesome. The service was great as well as the food. It wasn't busy at all, so our food came out quickly. We will definitely be back.“

“The food and atmosphere are great!!! For the service though, well its just pure Awesomeness makes the food and atmosphere even better. The server was very attentive and very happy to see us, well at least i felt that way. Then well, we got our food, eggplant parm and pizza!!! My pizza came out in my opinion very very good. The chef on the other hand didnt like what he sent out but probably didnt want us waiting longer, not that we were waiting long at all. He sent out another pizza and apologized for the "burnt" pizza, which it wasnt. Well i did accept the pizza cause the first one delicious and they insisted. So i was more than happy with eveything and definitely gonna get back in going there regularly even though I don't live close anymore.“

Both delicious. We've also tried the mini eggrolls they have and they are super yummy, too! They have a good drink selection in coolers when you order and we recommend getting the white peach or lychee drinks that they have there.“

“My server, Dawn, was SUPERB! She was attentive, told me that getting my bacon and hash browns extra crispy might be a challenge for the cooks but that they would do their best. The hash browns and bacon were PERFECTLY done. My coffee was always full and she always checked to see how I was doing. Definitely a keeper!“

“Hadn't been here in 13 plus years. I won't make that mistake again. Decided to jump over on a Saturday night about 6:15. Not very crowded yet. Order the chili cheeseburger that came with fries and a drink. Great decorations in this location with airplanes hanging from the ceilings. Food came out fairly quickly. Not too much chili but not too little. It was just right. The french fries were really good. They had a great little batter on them that made them taste awesome. They have specials during the week and they have a wide variety of items on their menu. Lots of seating available. Definitely recommend that you go to this location on the northeast side of Toepperwein Road.“

Hubby had the bowl with the pork, cilantro rice, black beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, potatoes, and tomatoes. We received sides of creamy jalapeño, sour cream and Ranch dressing. “Ambiance was a 10/out of 5 Food was a 4/out of 5 Service 3/ out of 5 Service wasn't anything to write home about but ambiance was very nice and laid back and dining room was pretty big, loved that. Food was good but I don't know I felt about how fresh some of items were but what we had was great. What killed me was a burrito being 15 bucks. Seem a bit overpriced. Solid place worth checking out!!“

“Checked out the new location in Schertz and it was packed. So packed it took 30 minutes before we had someone check on us after we sat down but once Tum Tum took our order, the service was phenomenal. Very pleasant and personable. Highly recommend asking for her. Big screen TVs everywhere to catch any game you want so be prepared for it to be a little noisy. Very clean establishment. Can't go wrong with their wings. Tried their Cranberry Kick flavor. Starts off sweet and then you will feel the kick. Not even a gradual heat. It's just a kick.“

“I hadn't been to this kind of restaurant in a long time, so I didn't remember how it worked. No one asked if we had been there before or explained how it all worked. The first person who took our order was nice. The second person who rang us up didn't speak to us. By the time I put my card back in my wallet, she had left to go back to the front register. I didn't know that I would have to get my own drinks, silverware, and the potato galette. We didn't see her put the galette on the counter, so we weren't sure if it was ours. I was waiting to ask her for clarification, but she never came back. We figured it out after we'll sat down like a bunch of confused little goobers. The food was okay. The potato galette was cold and was a little too strong on the onion flavor for me, so I didn't eat more than a few bites. The omelet (bacon, bell peppers, cheddar) and croissant were good. My husband got the croissant sandwich with sausage, which he said was okay. The lady who brought us our food was sweet. She was chatting with a regular customer next to us and having a really pleasant interaction, but one of the managers interrupted their conversation mid-sentence and told her to get back to work. It was awkward.I don't know if it was all worth the cost, so we probably won't be coming back.“

“If you haven't been to P Terry's, then you need to! Not only is the food great, but from Austin to San Antonio ( and any in between) you know what to expect! From what I understand, this is Pat Terry and his wife... that means every location does it the same... and I like the way Pat likes it! I only wish Pat liked onion rings!Ps- I ALWAYS get aTerry's!Cont in " about parking"Parking: Varies by location... some seem to be more drive thru oriented, but the drive thrus are efficient and friendly. ( I literally have NEVER had an unfriendly encounter at P Terry's! ) not sure I can say that about any other chain except In/Out Burger, and I've been to 10× more P Terrys!“

“Stopped in while shopping downtown to grab a beer & a small snack. Braeven was our bar tender and she was super friendly and answered our questions about the history & about the menu. We'll definitely come back and ask for her!! We ordered 2 draft beers from a decent selection of taps.. IPAS to light beer selections. We also shared a small nacho plate with the Texas Red (mild version) chili and it was really good! It was daytime, so the music was at a good level. We were able to sit at the bar and talk. It appeared to be some locals and maybe a couple groups of tourists. Mixed group. We'll be back!“

“This place is consistently delicious! I love that when I order to go from their website, I can add on 32 oz containers of pho broth. I stock it in my freezer for when we get colds. “The chocolate raspberry ice cream is so good! Very smooth and tasted like there was sea salt in the ice cream. There were big chunks of chopped up chocolate. The flavor of the raspberry is very nice. They also have Sorbet. They had a very bright red Sorbet I'll try next time. You can walk around and shop then, have a seat at one of the bistro tables and enjoy a cup or cone of ice cream or sorbet. Sounds like a plan“
