“I ordered online right after getting gas at HEB on 96. A truck pulls in front of me and is taking a minute to order. I ordered at least 5 minutes prior, so I went around to the window cuz technically, I'm not cutting. I ordered first. I'm asked to pull forward, and then the truck pulls forward. We both get our food at the same time. I clocked in 3 minutes late for work. Thanks, Wendy's ! Also, it's fricking crazy that these combos are 12.00 bucks“

“My fiancé and I love going to eat here, especially on a nice sunny day. Their patio is so light and cheerful with the yellow tarp, the view of the marina and Kemah. Their service has been exceptional especially during busier days, which can be demanding of the crew.They’re quick to tend you and fix any, if ever, mistakes made.“

“We love The Spot in Galveston. This was a little more laid back and more like a traditional restaraunt with a waiter where you order from the menu at your table. Less crowded than the Galveston location. It was a good experience and the food was great. It's nice to have The Spot without having to go all the way to Galveston.Parking: Plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: There is a patio with a small area for kids to play. It may get a little wild if you're sitting right next to that area and there are several kids playing.“

“This place has absolutely delicious burgers. However, fries and drink do not come with the burger, they are a separate charge. When the burgers are already $10 by themselves, it is a bit expensive. But on the plus side, they have a station where you can put whatever veggies and condiments you want on your burger yourself, so you don't have to worry about them messing up your order. You order, then they give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. We like going here because there are always seats available even when it is super busy, and you can pick wherever you want to sit. For families it is great, because they have larger seating tables available and high chairs. If you have room after eating those massive burgers, their shakes are great as well.“

“I picked up the 3 fish and 6 shrimp. This a lot of food. Fish and shrimp are big pieces. Catfish was very good and perfectly cooked. Butterfly shrimp was fresh and just as good. Food was delicious. The coleslaw was maybe the best I have ever tasted. Very delicious coleslaw. Need to go back and order just a large coleslaw. Highly recommend. Definitely a hidden gem in dickinson.“

“The La Porte Dairy Queen is a staple in this community! I remember going there as a child and sitting outside enjoying an ice cream cone with my parents after school performances, or getting a late night snack after the Bulldogs played in the stadium behind DQ. Both tasty.Okay- Size of burger. 8 year old boy, who's not a gigantic eater had to order another small cheeseburger. Next time, I know to order a regular burger, which has 2 patties.Bad- Price $$$. That small cheeseburger, only ketchup, with taxes and smallest tip is basically $10. Granted, it's tasty, but $10?? For a kids burger, $10 is too much. Add $3+ for a drink. Maybe $2 pp for fries because you should split them. And its not like this is a nice restaurant in a cool location with waiters, its a burger spot in a shopping center off the freeway with a view of the road. So no, even though food was tasty, it wasn't good enough to warrant the price in my opinion.Vegetarian options: They don't have a veggie burger or plant based patty. Only option is a grilled cheese. Add grilled onions, peppers, and mushrooms. Plus lettuce and tomato. Good stuff.“
