Food was amazing. Drinks were okay, but not great. Maybe I'll just order wine next time. Service was sub-par and it wasn't busy. The excellent food made up for it... mostly. Would be 6 stars if the service was good.
We picked a "fine dining" restaurant for our anniversary dinner. We visited Katz21s website and read the dress codes and dressed appropriately.The stuffed lobster tail and rack of lamb were good, as were the wines. However, I'm withholding a five star for atmosphere, because their dress codes said no ball caps, and there were 3 men sitting at tables wearing their caps, and no one said a word to them. This was our first time here and it was definitely a different experience in Corpus Christi. Our waiter Chris was very informative on the menu. He asked if it was our first time which I thought was extremely helpful so he was able to give us some great choices. Great waiter!
