“Love the new restaurant that has replaced the old one. Bbq with a Mexican twist. I got the pork belly tacos and wanted to eat like 5 more they were so good. Side of Mexican rice reminded me of how my mom used to make it cause all these Mexican places make it to dry and this was nice and moist with a ton of flavor.Only downside is they don’t have fresh brewed tea so you have to buy the bottled options.Big menu and was delighted by the first try so will be back again“
“The "Fluffy" steak quesadilla was tasty and delicious. The gorilla size was more than enough food for the average human. My partner had the "Bluebonnet" quesadilla (vegetarian option) gorilla sized and ate it all. “I only got three of the four tacos I paid for BUT they were very good! The staff was welcoming and kind and my big back probably didn't need that extra taco. I'm sure they would've made it right if I had turned around and went back but I was just passing through. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd return.“
“Small cafe style street taco shop. Decor is colorful. Staff feels like family owned folk the kind that might remember your face next time through. There are options beyond street tacos including a hamburger and a selection of beers. Both hot sauces they offered were tasty. My wife found she liked mixing the two. I got the barbacoa tacos. Very tender and tasted great with the basic onion cilantro and lime. My wife got the flautas appetizer and commented they were generous with the chicken in them. Definitely adding it to our regular cycle of places to visit“
“"I recently dined at Rio Lerma and tried their Pollo con Hongos dish. While the plate itself was absolutely delicious, I couldn't help but feel a bit deceived by the name. Expecting a chicken and mushroom combination, I was surprised to find poblano peppers instead of mushrooms. The flavors were still fantastic, with the chicken cooked to perfection and the poblano adding a nice twist to the dish. In terms of the mushroom content, it was limited and barely visible compared to the more than a handful of poblano peppers. Perhaps a more fitting name for the dish would be Chicken and Poblano. One key difference I noticed from traditional Chicken Fajitas is that in Pollo con Hongos, you cut your own chicken breast as opposed to it being already sliced in the fajitas. So, basically, Chicken Fajitas and this dish are quite similar."“

“Great place to chill with friends at the bar or to catch a quick bite to eat . Sat at the bar today with friends. Bartender, Brenda was awesome!!! Tried the cherry limeade mojito, one with Tito's and one with their botanical gin. They are dangerous..... and of course very delicious. Salsa is very good, they also have several different kinds of sauces to choose from. There was a gentleman walking around during our entire stay, seemed like the manager (reddish shirt and gray hair). Anyway, he seemed quite in tune and was making sure everything was running smoothly. All their food so far has been great. Fast service, cool ambiance. I was a huge Los Hermanos fan but have now switched to Chuy's for our tex mex food cravings.“

“This Mexican restaurant is located in a lovely, low key part of Montreal - a neighbourhood restaurant set on a street for pedestrians. It appears that Wellington Ave is closed off to cars, allowing pedestrian foot traffic. A great idea for the summer The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely. Quaint, tasteful and authentic. We ordered the gaucamole starter and tomatoe soup. Both were were very tasty. We also enjoyed the pork tacos, chicken tostado (mole sauce) and the salmon with Chipotle dinner. The chipotle sauce on the salmon was delicious. All dishes were tasty and well priced, given our inflationary times. We would have tried the housemade dessert if we were not so full. The service was attentive. The two servers worked the entire room with about 10 tables and did not miss a beat. they served us immediately and provided the table with a large jug of water and left it on the table allowing customers to refill as needed. A lovely spot that I highly recommend.“

“My family and I were checking out downtown Crandall and stumbled upon this really neat restaurant. We could smell the food from across the street. That was enough to decide where we were to eat for lunch. My kids each had a taco plate, and my wife and I ordered the beef fajitas for two. The food tasted like it was homemade. The rice was not your typical Spanish rice; you could tell effort was made. Fajitas were tender, juicy, and flavorful. Needless to say, nothing was left behind on our plates. We will be visiting again.“
