Marais is a wonderful place for a book club meeting or any gathering. The atmosphere is perfect, and the food and drinks are excellent. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. The shrimp and grits, French toast, and pancakes are standout dishes, with the shrimp and grits being the best the reviewer has ever had. While the restaurant exudes fine dining, one reviewer found the crab beignets and shrimp and grits to be average, preferring their own homemade version. Overall, Marais offers a great dining experience with a mix of positive and average reviews.
