“I have been looking forward to trying Abby Jane, grain to table makes me so happy. We bought a donut, almond monkey bread, chocolate babka, and a sourdough loaf (pan). The pastries were amazing, it was 2:40pm and the donut was incredibly soft. The almond monkey bread was just sweet enough and I will be buying my sandwhich bread from them. My only issue was the chocolate babka was a bit dry and burned on the edges.“

“Food was good the only thing we kind of struggled with is that you have to scan the barcode at the table and do all the ordering so it was not as personal mobile as talking to a waiter but quicker way to get your food“

“Tillies is a gorgeous location but unfortunately our tea time service was sub-par. Our waitress was aloof and kept disappearing for long stretches of time. We sat with our tea for 30-40 minutes before we had to ask for our tiered food to go with the tea service. By the time we received it, everything was cold— the beef Wellington was chewy and blah. The rest of the pastries were pretty good. When it was time to check out I had to ask another server to run our card and even then we waited another 15-20 minutes for our original server to return. The special tea service was meant to be a treat for my mom for Mother's Day. Unfortunately it wasn't as pleasant of an experience as we had hoped. I still overall enjoy Tillies but will probably not be returning for tea time in the future“

“Great local coffee shop in DS. There's usually a line but it moves fast. I usually get the lattes with oatmilk along with their many different flavors like hazelnut or irish cream. Baked goods are really delicious, especially the morning glory and blueberry muffin, which is vegan! Can't say much about lunch items, I think I had a sandwich once and it was good. Pro tip: try the chagaccino, totally unexpectedly good“

“The food is absolutely delicious here. We were visiting from Austin for 1 night and we stopped by here. The buffalo chicken sandwich was better than almost any fried chicken sandwiches I’ve had in Austin. Light, crispy, fresh, and fried to perfection. It didn’t reek of fryer oil and it wasn’t too heavy. It was simple and fresh ingredients executed beautifully. We also got the margarita pizza and it was also fresh and tasty. Loved the sauce and the crust, but I felt like it wasn’t as much of a star as the sandwich was. Anyway, if you’re around here, you absolutely need to give this place a try. The food is fire and 10/10.“

“We enjoyed the spicy shrimp tacos & chicken fajita quesadilla. The quesadilla is made with Oaxaca cheese and it comes with chips and salsa. Location is amazing! It's a great place to hang out with friends and family. Ghost Note offers a great selection of beer. I will bring my family next time!“

“This is my favorite place! I can never decide between a salad or a pizza so I usually get both. The ingredients are fresh, flavors are unique, and quality is always top notch. My favorites are the Avocado Goddess salad, IL Greco and Pineapple Express pizzas. “One of our favorite places to eat when we are in Austin! The most delicious smoked pastrami we have ever had! The pizzas are Neapolitan style and pick your toppings or you can choose one of their favorites on the menu. We also love their salads, today we had the Caesar as a starter to share. One is big enough for two! We love the pastrami with the Caesar salad as an entree too! Delish and I highly recommend!“

“The smoked chicken on top of the butter lettuce salad was not near as delicious as it was the previous times I ordered it. This alone probably would not have led to me updating my review, but I was treated very rudely. Multiple servers are at the bar waiting to take orders. We had already ordered our meal and eaten; my daughter wanted a pretzel. There were some customers standing behind each server, with a slightly longer line to the side. It was confusing; I thought there were multiple lines. Wanting to quickly order my daughters pretzel so I could go sit back down and spend time with my visiting family members, I chose what I thought was the shortest line. The female server shamed me for accidentally cutting in line and sent me to where I was supposed to go very rudely. Completely unnecessary and could have been told very nicely where the line is. Especially when there is no signage, and annoyingly, there are no menus to look at when you are waiting in this required line. You must wait til your turn at the counter to see what the options are, and then hurriedly scan the menu to order, as you are aware of the waiting line behind you. You can feel the impatience of the servers as well. And you're thinking, "why don't you put some menus back at the beginning of the line so that I'm prepared when it's my turn?" But somehow they make it feel like the customers fault that you aren't ready. Also, since there is no table service my father chose to tip 20%, rather than the default 24%, yet when he went to sign they had increased it back to 24%. For rushed counter service with no time to look at the menu! Regardless, I would have left my previous 5 star review up, had the lady at the counter not treated me so rudely and embarrassed me in front of other customers, painting me as an intentional cutter, in other words, a bad person. In her defense, I think she actually perceived that I was. She sure showed me! What a good human, putting people in their place like that and teaching them lessons. Only removing 1 star because I'm hoping the downgrade in food and service is a fluke. Will probably go back at some point to see if that is case or if they have just gotten lazy. Regardless, they really need to make menus accessible while you are waiting in line. It would make it more obvious where the line is, too.“

“Delicious sushi! I'm usually disappointed because almost every place I've tried tastes the same, is more of the same, and isn't as fresh. The rolls were on point, made with good quality fresh fish, the portions are generous without being a lot of thick pieces that barely fit in your mouth. You can also say that the soy sauce is of high quality and is not cheap because the waiter pours it into the small dish and does not leave the container on the table. We also ordered the fresh wasabi (completely another level). The service was good, the waiter was friendly, you can tell he doesn't have much experience, but he certainly did his best! The atmosphere of the place is calm and relaxed, perfect for a date or a business meeting. I recommend it 100% and I hope to return soon.“

“We did takeout from China Steakhouse lastnight. It was really good. The Kung Pao chicken, pork dumplings, pork egg rolls, egg drop soup and sweet and sour chicken were all great. The pepper steak was good but a little too spicy for us (next time I'll ask for it to be mild). The lady who took my order was really nice and everything was ready pretty fast. We will be back in the near future!!“
