“Finding good Mexican Food isn't too hard here in Texas, but every now and again you Find a Gem like this place That sets the Standard for the rest! I often taste my food before adding S&P or Hot Sauce, and Dude, I was blown away! No S&P was needed. I did try their house Hot sauce more out of obligation than necessity, because if the food was that good the Sauce has to be too, Right!? Well Helms Yea It Was! So Yea I Definitely recommend this Joint. I will be back again as often as I can get out that direction!“
“We stopped in for takeout after the UT football game. We got a Fuego plate and a half chicken plate, and everything was so delicious! The chicken is tender and really nicely seasoned, and the borracho beans are some of the best I've had. It was a really reasonable price for how much food we got, we had leftovers for tomorrow. Will definitely be back!“

“Just moved here to Elgin and have tried just about every Mexican food truck, restaurant and whoever, whatever place sells Mexican food and by far this is my favorite place! The breakfast tacos are excellent, good size, great flavor. But what I like the most is their menudo! Flavor is on point, not greasy, and they serve it with plenty of meat! I am there every Sunday to get my menudo! Go by and try it if you are a fan of menudo!“
“This place has fantastic food and service. I have recently had dental surgery and can eat only soft foods. I was able to eat the rice and beans and tried two types of soup. The chicken soup was fabulous and the seafood soup was very good. I could not eat shrimp and asked for just fish and they gave me a lot of fish. Atmosphere is not a priority at this restaurant but food and service more than makes up for the lack of ambiance. Highly recommend!! ?“

“Very good service I ordered 2 chorizo and egg with bean tacos in less than five minutes my food came out nice and hot with a good amount of servings sizes of chorizo and cheese. The chorizo was cooked to perfection. After I finished the waiter took my plates and was very kind. I went to pay and I chatted with the cashier who was friendly and I paid and left. The amount of food you get for how much you pay is a good bargain. The restaurant is lit up on the inside with music adding to it's authentic ambiance.“
“This place has been here for a long time. When you get out of your vehicle and you smell the fresh meat cooking, you cant help but get hungry. The servers are extremely nice, My favorite is the chicken taco which melts in your mouth. “Always crowded, popular taco truck on 290 in Elgin, TX. Open until noon or 1:00. Friendly and fast. Homemade large flour tortillas. Get with sausage or chorizo as bacon is fairly bland. Hot green sauce is H.O.T. Red sauce is a normal person’s hot. Neither are for wimps. Yum.“
