I had the Croque Madame and it was the best I’ve ever had.The own took a few moments to talk about the history behind of the Huitlacoche (corn truffle crepe) and how it was developed in Mexico in the 1800s by visiting French influences.It has a butterfield selfie wall out back!Gem neighborhood gem!“
“We go to eat as a large group often. Tonight was by far the best experience we have had! Food was Amazing, the servers were very attentive and friendly! I don’t think we had a single complaint! We will definitely return for more of our family dinners!! I really with I could remember the names of our servers! If yall didn’t know you can rent the back room area for a small fee and they can close the doors for privacy! It’s great!!“
“Discovered this place recently and went in for dining . This was one of the few Mexican restaurants around round rock and wanted to give it a try . Went here on a Friday and we did not have any wait time although restaurant was filled with people. Ambiance was good with a Mexican theme going on. We ordered the añejo tequila margarita, chicken enchiladas and chile relleno with cheese . Food was great and we felt it was way better than other tex mex places that we have tried before . Spice level was apt and they were able to customize our orders with chipotle or ranchero sauces and also gave us grilled jalapeños which was so well done . The sauces were the highlight and they were near authentic to some of the ones we tried in Mexico . The only reason for a 4 star is that the drink arrived so late and was very sugary and wasn’t that great inspite of ordering it with the expensive liquor . But will go back for the wonderful food!“
“This place is a GEM. Got some of the breakfast tacos for the first time after driving by this place numerous times wondering what they’re like. The tortillas were warm, soft, and fresh. Eggs cooked beautifully, fluffy and moist. The cheese!…. Man oh man the cheese delicately oozes out of the taco yet also helps hold the entire piece together. The Chorizo/Bacon/Potato additions that I got all added the perfect amount of flavor and body to the taco. As a former chef, this place nails what I think is a great breakfast taco; simple, comforting, and nothing too crazy but ingredients cooked and executed well. ??“

“When I tell you I’ve been here for almost 2 years and never wanted to travel to Austin for authentic tacos I mean it. And I’m so happy I finally found this place. When I say I’m here weekly I mean it. Granted there’s no place to sit and eat but eating these mini tacos de asada hits every time whether I inhale them in the car or at home.“

“Nice little cozy Mexican and Italian fusion place we recently discovered in the Round rock area . Ambiance was very pretty with a Mexican theme going on . The food had two sections - one Italian based and the other was Mexican based . We ordered one on each side - pollo ala chipotle and pollo con pasta (marinara based). The Mexican chipotle chicken was exceptional with tender cooked chicken and salsa was amazing and one of the most authentic ones we have tasted in Texas! The pollo con pasta was a bit disappointing because the chicken had a raw smell and pasta okay . Would not order that dish again and can try the white sauce based dishes next time . They had both wine and cocktails which worked for our pairing of dishes . One of the strongest margaritas we have tasted ! Our waitress was acting a bit non responsive initially but later was communicative . Would return here for the Mexican dishes, ambiance and cocktails !“
“I absolutely LOVE this place for several reasons. 1st and primary the food has ALWAYS been prepared and/or delivered EXACTLY as I ordered it. 2nd and "primary" the quality, freshness, and taste of every entrée, side dish, and appetizer I have personally eaten has never failed to awe every possible sense that the human body can experience when satisfying one of our basic needs as human beings...feeding our body. All be it, I must admit Mexican food is my fav, so my opinion can be interpreted in 2 ways. A favorite food for anyone can present a biased opinion, no question. Yet, it can also give absolute Truth because #1 we are all Expert witnesses when it comes to our favorite food. So, believe me when I tell you this is my go-to Mexican Restaurant and I hope I have talked you in to trying it out sometime.“
“Now this was a real surprise!We flew into Austin, TX to visit family and watch the eclipse.They said we had to have a real Austin experience so they took us to Torchy's for lunch with the kids.Had some amazing tacos and would love to have more.Dietary restrictions: They catered to dietary restrictions but mostly with corn tortillas instead of flour. Just be sure to let them know and they will prepare it special.Wheelchair accessibility: Street level so know problems and tables for wheelchairs also.“

“Coworker told me about this place so we tried it out. The ceviche was amazing and it was good portions. The lady there was extremely nice and helpful. They ran out of the Agua Fresca I wanted so she let me try the other ones so I could pick the one I liked instead of just guessing and hoping for the best. Great customer service.We tried thr Aguachiles with themedium green sauce. Wasn't too spicy but great flavor! And the Ceviche mix, one with and one without tajin.I'm excited to try some of their other meals. This is a seafood Mexican resturaunt and soo many options to choose from.“
“I can't say enough great things about this place. We've been regular Saturday morning customers for years - since before they moved from the downtown location. We love their breakfast tacos and the homemade hot sauce. This is one place my grown sons have to visit everytime they come home.“
“Party of 8 , they told us it was going to take about 25 mins to get seated , it took almost 50 minutes to get seated . As soon as we get seated they said our server will be right with us , but it took like 30mins for someone(servers) to even acknowledge us , we had to ask who our server was going to be because nobody came over to our table . The guy who attended us who ended up being our server was awesome , great customer service very attentive & fast . Food was great , i just don't think they have very good communication between the hosts & servers . Too long for us to get service.“
“This was my first time there the food was absolutely delicious I had a double cheeseburger and some mashed potatoes my friend had spicy chicken quesadillas and they were absolutely fantastic the waitress Mandy was courteous professional and a really good server. This is a sports bar and the only negative thing about the entire experience I had was for some ridiculous reason here in Austin Texas is the fact that they had a Vince Young jersey next to a Johnny manziel Jersey. “I ordered from door dash, I’m going to be honest I’m a bit hesitant when it comes to any Mexican food here in Austin since I’m from San Antonio. I’ve been visiting Mexican restaurants around Austin and nothing can beat San Antonio Mexican food. I can never find anything similar or Authentic. It all taste like it either has sat or the flavor is not there. I would like to start and say the food was AMAZING. The charro beans weren’t the best but the enchiladas and Carne Quisada topped it off for sure! It really felt like I was eating at home. The flavors are amazing! I will definitely be bringing my family there next time. Y’all definitely should consider bringing back homemade flour tortillas! It would definitely bring more people in!“
“Very nice lunch visit. Crispy beef taco and the chicken chalupa were fantastic. I liked the chile con carne on the cheese enchilada very much. Beans very good. The pork tamale was excellent, though I was not fond of the tangy / sour green sauce on it. Well-made, just not my personal preference. Red salsa was perfect.Service was excellent. “I seriously cannot believe how good Torchy’s Tacos is. From the moment you walk in the door, you realize why this place is otherworldly. The queso is out of this world. And the tacos aren’t just good tacos, they’re damn good tacos. It will have you contemplating ever trying a different Tex-mex place again. Seriously, how can it get any better than this?“
“Perfect spot for the area, has so much to offer. Staff is overall friendly, bakery sells out quickly so I never got to really try anything from there. The price gouging isn’t terrible, and they offer many Latino type products, candys chips, ice cream. I love this store and will miss it when I leave the area.“

“This particular food truck serves up absolutely amazing food! Our son Ben' recommended for us to give it a try. Right down the road from our neighborhood in Round Rock. We had 2× original Hamburger's with extra Mustard and Jalapeños. And had cold Apple Juice instead of a soda. So darn refreshing!!Give it a try.. There hours are(7:00 am to 1:00 pm) They also serve breakfast Taco's. ( 7:00am-1100am) I can't say we have had them YET.“

“My wife and I discovered this place about 3 weeks ago. Since then we have been 5 more times. It is one of the most underrated Mexican food restaurants in Round Rock. I have yet to have something bad on the menu. The Mexican martinis are just as good. We watched them make them in front of us and you definitely get your moneys worth! “My wife and I came here and ordered the chicken tikka quesadilla and the tikka over rice. It was great tasting, good quality, and decently priced. The tikka over rice way a better value on price/quantity but if you aren't that hungry the quesadillas are good too. We'll be back because next we need to try their birria tacos.“
