“Awesome place to get delicious-healthy shakes and teas and even better place for workouts...and now they sell workout tights-it’s a one-stop shop for ALL your wellness needs. The atmosphere is inviting and pleasant. Couldn’t have chosen a better place to start my healthier lifestyle.“
“Food was fresh and hott. Young lady at register was very kind and welcoming. Only problem was that it felt like I was in Antarctica. Uncomfortably cold in there. And I'm on the bigger side . Think a polar bear would agree, ridiculously cold in there. Took me a while to thaw out after I left.“
“Easily one of the best coffee shops in the valley. Very spacious, tranquil, delicious coffee, great service. Come to Weslaco and stop by here, not overthere. Plenty of parking on the street or next to the building. Small conference room available. Outdoor seating available. Great spot to say the least.“
“Just stopped by for a warm drink after a cold walk in Progreso. My hubby googled coffee houses. It's a cute little place with great staff.❤️❤️ So quiet and comfy. My hubby had a mango pineapple energy drink and loved it. I had the coconut mocha. Fantabulous! Smooth coffee. Looks like a great place to study too. Gracias! Probably will our thing from now on when we are on this side of the valley.“
“When I visit from Midland I will always stop here as soon as I get into town. Sometimes 2-3 times a day. The owner is so great, his staff is great. They have the best coffee in town! There’s definitely NO COMPETITION. I will pick this place over any other coffee shop in RGV. The coffee has the best flavors! They have coffee, lemonades, energy drinks even muffins! The vibes are always the best here! Thank you Eli for this amazing creation of yours!“
“So far, it's great. Had the white chocolate mocha. 10/10.Update: this place is great. It has so many options to choose from however I do recommend to download the app because their extended menu is on there. To everyone caffeine sensitive and to people who don't want coffee. They offer a lot more than just coffee. Over all the staff is super nice and the service is fast.Dietary restrictions: Decaff and other options then coffee available.“
“Place is cute, tables are decent sized, there is I believe 5-4 seat tables and the rest of the areas are for individual, or couches for 2-3 people. 2 high tables for 2 people each. A counter one for I think 2 people as well. Picnic Tables outside but no plugs/outlets outside for electronics. Temp wise during summer place is warm feeling :/ perhaps if they put tower fans in more areas it’ll help with AC distribution as building was previously a house. Pricing , if it’s not basic coffee like an americano, expect to spend about $6+ on lattes/tea drinks, fraps are $7… (I get it’s a small business but other shops price ranges are more accessible for a frequent customer, add-iba also rack up pretty quickly, ex. dairy free milk in a latte + a flavor= 99¢+89¢… so plus $3.50 of base drink and taxes just for drink it’s already about $6+. only reason it’s a 4 star is cause you can take fur babies just not sure if they are allowed inside. (They serve puppuccinos). Also their Wifi is decent, haven’t had issues. I believe you’re not obliged to buy to sit in. Cute/creative artwork around. Saw some flyers for events at location. Card/Apple Pay/Samsung/Google Pay accepted. Cash is preferred exact count. Restrooms are clean and well kept. Extractor/Ventilation might be needed in RR. Not sure if you can take in outside food/drinks. They have an Instagram, wish it was updated and drinks were advertised more on their stories. Baristas sometimes aren’t at the counter so maybe a bell might help? The guys are sweet, and they take your items to your table etc.“
“It taste as good as it looks?? , overall amazed and so glad I found a NEW go to coffee place and yes it’s better then Starbucks . Let’s not say their pastry’s warm to the touch love this place amazing Customer services good vibes overall .“
“I like this Starbucks and it’s the one closest to home. Staff are friendly but today seemed a bit disorganized and witnessed two staff members grabbing several cups with bare hands on the lid exactly where customers drink from. Kinda gross.“
“The short version:Cleanliness. 5 starsAtmosphere. 4 starsPrices. 4 starsFood. 4 starsService. 4 starsBetuzas is located on the east side of Elsa on Hwy. 107. It is a locally owned and operated coffee shop and restaurant serving specialty coffees, teas, refreshers, and sporting a nice menu with sandwiches, soups, great breakfasts, and some Mexican favorites.I decided I wanted to try their chilaquiles. I was trying to choose between red and green salsa, and the server suggested I could get half and half. So that's what I ordered, to be topped with an egg. She asked how I wanted the egg, to which I replied, "over medium" (whites done, yolks still mostly runny). To drink, I ordered sweet iced tea because they told me it was fresh brewed. The iced tea was old and cloudy. I could barely drink it. The chilaquiles were delicious, both the green and red salsas, but the egg was very much well done. The egg was not that big a deal to me, but a coffee and tea shop ought to know that when iced tea gets cloudy, it has gone bad.I wasn't going to say anything, but Siomara came to the table and asked how I was enjoying my meal.so I told her about the undrinkable iced tea. She immediately apologized and offered me a replacement drink. She also offered me a goodie from the dessert bar to make up for the overcooked egg. I chose only to get a replacement drink.I think the staff at Betuzas cares about their customers. They seem to do so many things well; the chilaquiles were great. I would go again. I might just order a fruit refresher instead of the iced tea.“
