“Cattleman's has to be experienced at least once. The grounds of the restaurant are wonderful with lots of animals to see. There have been lots of movies filmed on the location. The history inside the restaurant is amazing. The staff are absolutely wonderful and friendly. I've had the biggest steak of my life here, and it was amazing! Everything was perfect, from the drinks to the sides and appetizers. You will not get a fresher steak anywhere!”

“We drove by to purchase some honey at Ceballos Honey Farm and stopped by our favorite spot in Fabens, Texas, for their delicious Mexican-corn cups, the best in the region! We have been coming for the past year, and the food is delicious and authentic to our culture! The Customer service is excellent, and their kitchen looks clean. It is a quaint little place and makes for a beautiful drive to the South-East part of our borderland. We highly recommend visiting this hidden jewel called Myna’s Snacks in Fabens, Texas.”

“First off, love the name. Stop here if you want freshly-made AND tasty burritos. I ordered the potato, cheese and green chili burrito and it was so good and filling. The cashier was friendly and quickly sent our order to be prepared. If you're in a hurry you can call in your order ahead of time. They have coffee and various flavors for it. Price is good and I'd definitely recommend this place if you're driving in from through the Tornillo port of entry. Also, it is a quick 1.5 miles from I-10 East/West and Fabens Rd.”

“The Boss sandwhich was good, but service was slow despite the place being empty. When we walked in the 2 employees were working on some orders, but I left and a drive thru order left before the curbside pick up was completed even when that was placed before both of us. They only had wheat bread available. This was a Thursday afternoon around 6:30pm.”

“Went to see the art fair in San Elizario, and it turned out to be a really fun trip. Went looking at local art work, and worked up an apppetite. We were hungry and saw Shooters. Stopped in and ordered some food, and were really surprised how good the food was. It wasn't expensive, but really liked the brisket nachos we ordered. The meat was smoked, which added to the overall flavor of the nachos. Waitelress was really nice and helped with recommending the nachos. Will be back sometime soon to try more of the food they got here.”

“Flicks is a hole in the wall that everyone should try. The food is probably the most reasonably priced I’ve seen in years and it is still really good food. Flicks is also really clean and that includes the bathrooms. Great pizza at half the price of the competitors. Also, the wings are pretty good too.Kid-friendliness: It has some free arcade games. But it’s a very friendly atmosphere.”

“This place has excellent quick service the barbacoa is better than ok but not spectacular, over all the barbacoa is always hot the portions are fair , the bread is good for barbacoa sandwiches the tacos are ok on the smaller side. This place is consistent and never disappoints .”

“This establishment was recommended by a few friends. Sometimes when you get the chips and salsa and that is good you expect the food to be that good. I got a Mexican plate to sample various items. The Enchilada was good. I also liked the Chile Relleno. The rice and beans were ok. The only issue was the tamal. It had an interesting flavor but it was crumbly. It was dry, it needed more moisture. The taco was good. If I had ordered the taco plate I would have been satisfied. On certain items you get a trip to the salad bar. The salad bar is not big but you get some prepared salads like chicken or tuna salad. I will go back and try other items. They are open late during the week and on Sunday they close at 2:00. Try it for yourself. It is far from town but it does not need to advertise. Sometimes there is a line to get a table. There are plenty of tables and still there is a line to get in.”

“San Eli Bakery bakes the best pineapple empanadas! The ratio of dough to filling is perfect (not more dough than filling). The dough itself is tasty and crispy with a sprinkle of sugar. The filling is supremely delectable. What a treat!”
