“I cannot recommend Spot On enough! Nicole truly cares about the craft of what goes in to Spot On. I’ve never had a drink of hers I didn’t like. Her & her staff are so kind. Not sure what to get? Just talk to them about what you normally like flavor wise & they will make a recommendation that I’m sure you’ll love!”
“I'm here for a wedding this weekend and stopped in to get some food. The food was amazing and the service was great. We also got the history lesson. Will be back soon.”
“Dont let the rustic look on the outside of the restaurant fool you. This is the best Mexican restaurant in the Floresville/La Vernia area! I tend to order the Alambres Plate and a Torta. Fresh tortillas, sauces, sweet teas and Mexican drinks made in house.I would buy more and save for left overs at home, as they last a couple of days in the fridge. And even tasted as good the day it was made. If you can microwave your left overs and taste as good, I am definitely coming back!Parking: 2 spots, but plenty of seating inside.”
“What formerly used to be Olivias. We still call it that ? Best Tex Mex food in town! Seriously, number one out of my top three. We always come here. We used to be acquainted with the old owner and the family. As it was a family owned business. Since the new owner took over, the staff and everyone is just as nice and the food is the same. Always very welcoming. Depending on the time of the day, they can get pretty busy. But if you know the times to go, you can catch them when they're not as full, If you like more of an empty, quiet atmosphere. Puffy tacos are to die for. Usually I get the no 3 (enchiladas and crispy taco plate) and ask for a puffy instead of a crispy. ? Not that there's anything wrong with a crispy. Their puffy is just amazing. The carne guisada is also sooo good. The prices are very fair. The waitresses always go above and beyond. Most of the time, we sit down, and they bring us our drinks right away, already knowing our usual drinks without having to ask. Now that's really good service. Always a pleasure. Thanks, yall!”
“Food was really good. I had the machado plate with a side order of bacon. Great homemade tortillas. Prices are very reasonable. Excellent service. Waitress was very polite and prompt. The only drawback, the building is very old and dilapidated. 90% of the customers are locals. This is a family owned restaurant. Next time I drive thru Floresville, I'll be stopping by again.”
“Our first time visit. I know good Mexican food. This is it. My husband got the Mexican plate, and i got the beef fajita plate. First thing. Best restaurant tortillas I've ever had. My husband's meat was perfectly tender. My beef fajitas plate was huge. There was enough meat for 4 to 5 tacos. The beef was the most tender I have had as far as fajita beef. It comes with peppers, and onions, so if you don't normally have that just ask for no peppers, or onions. The food came out in less then 7 minutes. That was a pleasant surprise. My only issue was only one waitress, and also she cashiered. I needed a to go box, and I could not get her attention. She was super nice, but you have to follow up with your table. Do yourself a favor, and give this place a try. Your tummy will thank you. Oh side note. Prices are great in this economy. It was $24 for 2 dinners, 2 sodas, and of course chips, and salsa.”
“On our way to Brownsville to visit family, decided to go into Floresville, saw this place and we decided to give it avtry. Great food, great service, very well plated. Definitely coming back.”
“It is one of the top spots for us to visit for some great Mexican food.Parking: Curb and srreet arking across from the city court house. Parking is available directly in front of the restaurant as well.”
“I ordered the country fried steak plate. I was extremely surprised at how good it was and how tender it was as well. We encountered two problems for people with disabilities. Number one was the entrance, the way the concrete ramp is shaped makes it very difficult to push someone in a wheelchair into the restaurant. The other issue is the hallway to the bathroom and the bathroom itself. Very narrow hallway. The bathroom is extremely small, a wheelchair doesn't fit. Lastly, the toilet itself is low to the ground which makes it difficult for a disabled person to sit down or get up from it.”
“Just love this place the food is so delicious and the tortillas are made so fresh and yummy! Thank you for all the great years of excellence! We will miss y’all’s great food!”
“I hadn't been here in years with the previous owners. Back then the food was disappointing, but it's a total different store today. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with sweet potato fried and a garden salad. Everything was hot and my salad was fresh! I would highly recommend Jack's!”
“Awesome Mexican restaurant! Lots of seating and great food. We visited on a Sunday morning and we're served quickly. We were served by Aurora and she was great!”
“Best breakfast tacos in town!! Service is always great, they actually get your order right (a rare treat in Floresville) and the green sauce is *chefs kiss*! Worth every penny.”
“When AJ said the Chicken Rollantini was "king" he wasn't kidding. The crab and cheese stuffed chicken breast in a mushroom cream sauce was outstanding. The house dressing on the salad was excellent as well, and the garlicky dip for the house made bread was wonderful.Overall if you are hungry in Wilson county you should definitely stop by Guiseppe's!!!”

“Finally got an opportunity to try Lumpia’s Wheel today after following them on Facebook for a few months. Food was hot and delicious! I got the glazed chicken which came with a perfect portion size plus Pancit, steamed rice and pork lumpias. Everything was great and a nice change from the typical fast food options. The location was convenient and the customer service was excellent. Excited to try the pork adobe next time. Keep up the great work Lumpia’s Wheel!”
