Maverick Grill & Saloon offers a great meal worth driving for. The grilled zucchini and bacon burger with jalapenos are must-tries. The Buffalo chicken was a bit dry, but the fries and onion rings were delicious. The service was outstanding. Despite feeling rushed by the fast-talking waitress, the food was worth the wait. The chili queso was disappointing, but the chicken fried steak and kids' meals were good. The grilled chicken club was seasoned well but overcooked. Overall, a mixed experience with some hits and misses, but the attentive service makes it a decent choice for a day trip.
