“First time to visit. The black on black sign make the sign on the restaurant a little difficult to read during the day, but it's back-lit at night. Also, the entrance is somewhat hidden, as there isn't a sign, or windows to indicate the entrance, and the doors are painted to match the walls...so look for handles.
However, if you find the restaurant and if you find the entrance (on the side of the building), then you are rewarded with an amazing dining experience. The food, drinks, and service were all fantastic. The crab bisque and the A5 Wagyu steak were perfect!”

“This was my first time in after passing this lovely restaurant by so many times before. I am so glad I stopped! The food is light, refreshing and wonderfully prepared. I had the Salmon Santorini bowl. It was so delicious! The staff is so friendly and attentive. Do yourself a favor and try it out!”

“We visited Verf's on 9/19/25 and Jose F was our waiter. The food was wonderful, and our waiter Jose did an excellent job checking on us but not becoming annoying by constantly asking if we needed anything. We sat near the bar which was a tad noisy, but the booth we were seated in was uncomfortable and better suited for larger people b/c the table is too far away from the seats. And our table had an uneven wood surface as we cut into our food. Lastly, the $2.50 discount for Police/Fire/Vets should be a little more ... say 15%. Otherwise, it was an outstanding dining experience.”

“My wife and I live in Houston and we were visiting Flower Mound where we lived several years ago. In the mood for Italian food, we met some friends at Giro Pizza, a restaurant I’ve heard about for some time. We shared some appetizers, that included Nonna’s Meatballs that were generously served and delicious. I had the veal special and my wife had the cannelloni. The veal was spectacular along side the well seasoned roasted Brussel sprouts. The wine which comes from the owner’s family winery in Italy was reasonably priced and excellent (they also have a full bar) We topped things off with dessert and the traditional lemon cello. Whatever was left over we brought home to enjoy again the next day. The place felt warm, inviting and the wait staff was attentive, professional and friendly. If we still lived in Flower Mound, GiroPizza would be on our circuit of date night, dining out experiences.”

“We decided to give this place a shot for my wife's birthday lunch. We were not disappointed. The food was so fresh with terrific portion sizes and was at the perfect temperature making the crab easy to crack open but not over cooking the crab meat.

Our waitress was quite nice and attentive with no waiting on refills, which is impressive for the amount of water my wife was downing.

We are huge fans of the red velvet and chocolate chocolate chip which pair beautifully with their cream cheese frosting and are always so moist and wonderful. However, the customer service is what really sets this location apart. I was greeted warmly by smiling faces who were eager to help and watched several customers get in and out super quick while I was there. I had a special request and the owners were happy to try to make it happen and the results were better than I could have hoped. My teenage son was surprised and delighted and that memory will be a highlight forever. Thank you for making that happen!”

“KO! Chicken in Flower Mound really delivered a great experience. Everything we ordered came out hot, fresh and full of flavor. The mozzarella stick was super cheesy. The fried chicken is what really stood out.

The KO Spicy had the perfect amount of heat. It gave a good kick without being too much, and you can still taste all the flavor behind it. The Garlic Soy was spot on too, with that sweet and garlicky balance that keeps you reaching for another piece before you even realize it.

What made the visit even better was how kind and accommodating Chris, the owner, was. He checked on us a few times, made sure we had everything we needed and just created a really welcoming atmosphere. You can tell he genuinely cares about the food and the people coming in.

Overall, KO! Chicken is definitely a place worth visiting if you want really good fried chicken and a friendly, laid-back spot to enjoy it.”

“I ordered takeout from China Island Asian Grill for the first time yesterday and had a great experience from start to finish. I was greeted by friendly faces when I arrived, which immediately set the tone. I ordered the lunch special with orange chicken, and it did not disappoint. The chicken breast was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was unexpectedly and wonderfully spicy. The vegetables were fresh, and I can’t say enough about the sauces overall. Even though the restaurant was really busy, my server Justina still managed to take care of everything perfectly. She was super nice, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without any delays.

“This is a good location, and I love the variety of food options, which is one of the things I appreciate about Sonic. However, some of the food could use improvement. The ice cream is decent, but there are a few items I'd like to see enhanced.

For instance, the Texas Toast should be a bit crunchier when toasted. The burger's meat could be seasoned better and should be juicier and more tender, rather than resembling school lunch meals. Additionally, they should use a bit less sauce when dressing the burgers. The fries could also be cooked better and seasoned more effectively.

I would love to see these improvements in the future. Overall, though, it's not a bad restaurant. I really enjoy dining there, and I hope Sonic continues to offer a wide range of options and remains successful for years to come.”

“This is one of the best restaurants I've gone to and I love coming to this location because not only is it on my way home from work, but the Customer service is absolutely fantastic and so is the food.

This location has been well redesigned and I love how they were able to keep the original building and modify it like their newer locations.

I hope they can open more locations across the United States, especially in Texas, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Nevada, California, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Georgia, Alabama, Utah, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, and Kentucky. When they do, I hope they won't demolish any of the existing Washguys Car Wash sites or any full-service car washes that could become good WashGuys locations. (Please see the list of potential WashGuys sites on Google Maps in the description of my latest YouTube video about WashGuys in Denton.) I know I shouldn't be saying this, but I feel it's important because I love WashGuys Car Wash. There are several full-service car washes in the areas where they plan to open new locations that could become WashGuys sites. Some of these have been demolished to make way for other businesses like convenience stores, restaurants, coffee shops, or anything that isn't a car wash. I hope the ones I believe could turn into good WashGuys locations will remain intact and not be demolished for non-car wash developments. I don't want that to happen to any existing WashGuys sites or potential full-service car wash sites. I realize this isn't directly related to my rating of Chick-fil-A, but I just wanted to share my thoughts about future locations. Nonetheless, I still believe Chick-fil-A is worth visiting regardless.”
