“Another place with good service in the area employee show understanding of customers needs even when you show up and they're closing in 8 minutes and I still take your full order and get it out in a vastly timely manner with a smile on their face during the time when they are trying to clean up and get ready to go home definitely outstanding to a customer wen busy all day and late to dinner needing anything to eat they definable got tip and please ig possible and realistically not going to hurt your budget keep on mind to maybe tip your waiter any place you're served from a person they work hard to allow you to pay for item u don't have to lift a finger for our pay majority goes to business and what waiter may earn including tips is taxed even a quarter tip can bring out 2 smiles yours and there's just althought over some conversations about tipping sonic waiters or not there's no rite or wrong answer here it's what you feel wen enjoying convenience and dinner that you ate already giving money towards you worked hard for also . “Well this little gem was a win win for me! Very first visit the gentleman behind the counter was friendly and explained the process to me. I decided on cookies and cream my fave! I had him put caramel on top. It was delicious and creamy and not overly sweet. The store itself is pretty basic a couple of tables and chairs with the ice cream behind the glass. Reminded me of the ice cream shops from way back when.“

“I’m going to be fair with a four star rating due to this just not being my thoughts as to what an Italian ice is supposed to be. There’s gelatos, there sorbettos, the granatas, and then there is this. They are kind of like a mix between a granata and either a sorbetto or gelato depending on what you get. When I think of Italian ice, I think of a tart lemon or a savory sweet strawberry. However, this is just not what they serve. My daughter liked it, and her friends seemed to as well. I would prefer a simple snowcone to this. However, they do seem to achieve what they are trying to do with the crowd that they are focusing on. If they ever got a super sour option, I would be completely down to try it again. When we drove by the long line had me rethinking my decision to give them a try, but once we got in that line it moved very quickly. It actually gave us a few minutes to check out the extensive menu. Many flavors of gelato, of course, and other items like macarons and crepe desserts are available. We went with simple cups of gelato with some classic flavors like Stracciatella and Amarena cherry, but we also tried something new to us, the refreshing Lime with Basil. Each flavor boasts a smooth, rich texture, indicating authentic craftsmanship. And the Lime with Basil was a surprise. Not as sweet as something that I would choose for a dessert, but what a great palette cleanser! While prices are slightly higher, the quality and natural ingredients seem to justify the cost. The staff are helpful and make the experience pleasant by offering samples and explaining the flavors. The store is sort of small, with seating both indoor and outdoors, Despite is being a fairly busy Friday night, we didn't have any trouble getting a table. “We always get ice cream on a trip. That's our way of ending our day/trip on a sweet note. I looked up ice cream shops in stockyard and MELT ice cream popped up at the very front. Then I walked out of a chain burger store and noticed, hey, it's right across the street and people are eating ice cream in this 50 something degree weather, this must be good.I smiled at a mom walking out of the shop with her kids, and asked her if the ice cream is good. She gave me a thumbs up and said it's worth it. When we walked in the store it smelled amazing, I felt like walking into a bakery. I wanted to try out fun flavors but my kids insisted on what they know best- vanilla bean and strawberry. As a family we discuss, negotiate, and compromise. So we ordered vanilla bean and strawberry.Since we're sharing the ice cream and cone, I told myself it's okay to order 2 scoops. Vanilla on top, strawberry below, in a vanilla cone. But oh boy it was gigantic and it took the 3 of us a good 15 minutes to finish. The vanilla was surprisingly sweeter than the strawberry but I really appreciate MELT not adding too much sugar and using fresh ingredients. We can really taste the difference. We will come back when we're in the stockyard. Hopefully, the kids will at least let me try chocolate then.“

“Went here with my son this weekend and it was great! We walked in and the guy explained the process and how it works. They had tons of flavors, and my son got a really weird combo of Nutella and salted caramel ice cream with granola mixed in. I went with vanilla and butterfinger mixed in. The ice cream is different. It's really dense but creamy too. The portion cups look small but once you get the ice cream you understand why. It was delicious in the end. Would recommend.“

“My mom and I go here at least twice a month, and every time the service is excellent. They are always so nice and make sure our ice cream is packed with a lot of mix-ins. They remember our orders too since we go in so often. We wanted to get the ice cream cupcakes for my twin nieces' birthday, but one of the workers told us they no longer offer those. It is not as "nice" as the high style, high design pop shops as it is mostly a wholesale store, used to supply the guys who sell pops out of their bikes. But why pay 300% more for decor? La Flor's pops are fresh, made in Fort Worth, with great natural flavors and real ingredients. Highly recommended for folks who want a high quality treat for a great price.“

They have restroom but I'm guessing due to COVID-19 restrictions they are closed to drivers.they have some very fine top of the line basic portable restroom lol, no complaints.
