“A sushi joint in the "country" that is just as quality as the expensive ones. I've had 6 different dishes and each one was quality in every way. Staff is attentive and respectful. Dining area is decent sized and a good place to take the family. Plenty of parking and easily accessible. Delicious, quick, and convenient.“
“Small shop, they do have dine-in seats. We did take out, they didn’t have some of the options I was looking for in sushi but the rice was exceptional my only thing with the rolls I ordered was the salmon was slimy but everything else was ok. Staff were polite and patient.“
“I was initially drawn here a few years ago for the cozy, modestly traditional, and intimate atmosphere and decor. All of which this establishment does really well. Their kitchen is partially open so that you can see sushi being prepared, and the interior is small enough so that it feels like a more private venue. The food quality is unparalleled in the dfw area, you’re gonna be hard pressed to find better quality sushi outside of maybe a couple unique dining experience establishments. They have a pretty standard selection of appetizers which are really good, but not where they stand out from other sushi places with exceptions the Tuna Tower and Masunosuke Crudo which are higher dollar items for appetizers but other reviews rave about these items. They have a reasonably wide menu of rolls which is where they start to do really well for themselves. I typically divide rolls into a few categories: basic favorites (less complex in composition, wider appeal), authentic selections (truer to Japanese sushi), Complex Rolls (typically signature items that can be authentic or Americanized). They have enough of the basics you could take your kids here and have no issue ordering, and even if you prefer more nuanced sushi they do their basics well enough so that they will still be enjoyed. Their authentic rolls arent clearly indicated on the menu which I would prefer if they were, but if you know what you’re looking for it’s not hard to pick out really good items which were on parr with sushi I have had in the Marianas and southern pacific islands. Their complex rolls encompass both American as well as authentic compositions, but both accomplish the culinary purpose of sushi incredibly well. A particular favorite of mine that I’ve seen other reviews praise is the rocky roll, that roll was so good that I have continued to think about and have a craving for a week after last I had it.Their service has been quick, friendly, and knowledgeable about their menu every time I have been.I cannot speak highly enough about this restaurant, if you are a sushi enthusiast living in dfw this is a spot you must try.Vegetarian options: They have a decently sized vegetarian menu with items of from their appetizers, entrees, and rollsParking: Ridglea Village Shopping Center has plenty of parking spaces that are all free.Kid-friendliness: This is a more quiet and intimate restaurant, so its not the most ideal spot to bring young children, however they have plenty of items I’d have enjoyed as a kid, so you can definitely bring them along.“
“Good sushi spot with a few tasty vegetarian options. Their avocado rolls were good, but the sweet potato rolls were even better. The appetizer spring rolls were decent. I'd recommend getting multiple orders with friends and just sharing amongst yourselves.Service is a bit slow and sloppy, but they may have also just been training someone new when we went (who was very kind and courteous about everything).“
“We were a little unsure about the ordering process because it's all done on a tablet, but overall it wasn't too difficult. Their miso soup is phenomenal, and the tonkatzu ramen had a great flavor to the broth, however I do wish there were some more add ins for the ramen. We also had edamame and combo fried rice, both delicious! We will be back to try the rolls though!“
“Parking lot is cramped but the inside is surprisingly spacious. It is clean and quite visually appealing. Service is solid. Sushi is well made. Cooked entrees are delicious and very filling. Price wise the items are quite reasonable. Sushi is, to be expected, the most expensive items. All around great Japanese restaurant, will be returning.Dietary restrictions: Raw seafood made in a separate kitchen from the cooked entrees. Gluten free options are present for those with Celiac's disease.Parking: Rather cramped, expect some difficulty finding a decent spot.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to inhibit wheelchairs.“
“Honest review here..I was skeptical of this restaurant due to the mix reviews but a family member picked this location for their birthday. The experience was actually great and the host/servers was attentive. They made us feel welcomed and the Hibachi was delicious. Interaction was good and they never missed a beat. Now, I can see why people say it lacked customer service because of the slight language barrier but that showed the customers probably didn't think outside themselves to be human for a moment. Sometimes compassion can help change the eyesight into seeing the humanity of things.“
“Food was pretty tasty and very nice presentation, but unfortunately a very small portion size per dish at a high price. The service was really nice and staff seemed happy.Nice atmosphere. They have a floating aquarium by the bar area that's pretty neat. This is a good place if you just want to taste good food, but not so much if you're looking to leave with a full belly.“
“Awesome rolls. My wife doesn't like seafood but tried the Vegetable roll and loved it. Me and my daughter tried several rolls and loved all of them. They have a sauce that they make themselves called a spicy ponzu. OMG. It's good on practical any of the rolls. Try this place for Sushi. You won't be disappointed.“
“Went for lunch on this gloomy Friday and the restaurant only had two table when we came in. Both my boyfriend's Ramen and mine came out hot and delicious. The chasu was very soft and easily pulled apart with chopsticks. I like the use of chili paste instead of chili oil for spice.“
“I looooove this place. The sushi was incredibly delicious. The only thing I didn't care for was the monkey balls, they weren't quite what you expect from the description and kinda bland. Other than that, super yummy. My new fave sushi place.“
“The fried rice and noodles are some of the best I've had at a hibachi restaurantThat being said, the meats need work as I've had better quality flavor on the chicken, steak and shrimp at other places. Still a solid hibachi restaurant!“
“The Beef Bibimbap was fantastic. Fresh veggies. Tender beef. Eggy egg. That red sauce was tasty too, not too hot either. The name should reflect the Korean dishes because I came looking for Japanese food. It's a good thing I gave that dish a shot. Will definitely come back to try a Japanese dish whenever I'm working this area again.Food arrived in about 5 minutes after ordering at the counter. Staff was helpful on decision.“
“The rolls were so thick and tasted so fresh. I got the Lunch Bento Box which surprisingly had no rice (except for the california roll) but I promise you you wont miss it. I was pretty full off the meal I had. It was my first experience here but certainly not my last. I look forward to trying all the rolls.“
“You have to try their Plum wine sake! This is a good sushi place. They have good lunch specials with the bento boxes. We went on Valentines and they were definitely not prepared for the crowd they had but I’ve been before and never had issues with service. Definitely recommend for a casual lunch or dinner.“
“I have been coming here since she opened a little over 5 years ago. Or before my daughter was born. It is by far the best sushi I've had in the Fort Worth area and I have tried a lot of other places! This is a privately owned restaurant, so quality is the focus. It is BYOB now so bring some Saki!Parking: Inside a strip mall so there is plenty of parking“
“We love everything we eaten here, for years! ? The food is fresh, the staff is friendly ?! They have a lunch menu 7days a week for smaller portions & sushi ?. Keep up the wonderful dishes! We ? You!Vegetarian options: They have a good selection of vegetarian dishesParking: It's a multi business [food & retail] parking lot w/free parking easy in & out.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“First time visiting Hashi. The owner, Yen, was visiting helpful explaining the menu and recommendations. My order came out quick and fresh. The steak was tender, flavorful and the noodles were very tasteful. My next visit I will try the sushi.“
“Food is 3.5/5 since it's average but overall is 4/5. Broth tastes good but the ramen overall is mid. There are definitely better ramen restaurants for the same price range of ~$14-$15. But I like how this restaurant offers a whole egg while other places usually offer half an egg. The space itself seems large because they don't fill the whole restaurant with tables. Service is nice and food comes out quickly.“
“My husband and i have been regulars since 2021 we started with grubhub orders which were always great and then we actually came in to the restaurant for the first time shortly after they had moved to the AYCE option and let me tell you that is the most affordable dinning experience ive ever had. We prefer to come by shortly after they open and we only ever spend $52 in total and eat so much amazing yummy and good quality food! and since thats so cheap for a dinning experience in fortworth and our waiters are always amazing we exclusively give 50% tips and that price is still cheaper than what i would pay at a mid sushi place. The AYCE options has encouraged both me and my husband to try new dishes everytime and ive only ever been disappointed in one dish which is the squid nigiri, it didnt even taste bad it was just a texture thing. There food is always delicious and me and my husband will be here almost every week sometimes!Kid-friendliness: My husband and i dont have many places we can go where we can bring the baby with us in fear of bothering everyone, but the staff always makes us feel so welcome when we bring the baby. (We tend to come in the morning when theres less people anyway to not bother other customers, but weve been here at all times of day and staff is always wonderful) I see tons of other familys bring there children to and the staff are so kind to them and even ask the kids directly what they want and how they are doing so they feel included and respected. Its always so cute“
“This was interesting. It's where my brother and his new wife wanted to go after they got married. I would have expected the place to set up a bit better for the occasion, but hey. No complaints coming from me. The food was good. The drinks were good. Just a little more of a "run down" appeal for me. Nonetheless, I'd go back.“
“This is one of our favorite hibachi spots. The chefs not only put on a fantastic show but also deliver delicious meals every time. The servers are friendly and attentive. Portions are VERY generous. We always opt for extra fried rice instead of noodles, which guarantees us an extra meal (or two) for the week. It's a lively and enjoyable place to dine, perfect for special occasions or simply a fun night out. My go-to is the filet dinner, while my husband enjoys the steak and lobster or shrimp combo. While it's not the cheapest option, the quality and experience make it completely worth it.“
“My husband and I went there the day after Valentine because we knew it would be less crowded. We've been going there for 20 years, but only on special occasions. It has been a while but was as I remembered. The restaurant is beautiful, clean, and eclectic . Greeted with smiles, only waiting 15 minutes for a table. The chef was fun and entertaining and food was AMAZING. We ordered an appetizer and the Emperors Special. It's a LOT of food. I take off one star, because I like to eat slowly and enjoy the food, but after chef makes his exit, I felt rushed to finish and hurried to leave. Would have preferred to sit and finish my meal, and enjoy the atmosphere. All in all a nice place. Highly recommend.“
“Highly recommend! This is such an underrated restaurant. The food is delicious every time me and my family go. The people are always friendly and give great service. The place is clean and has a nice atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: There are high chairs and booster seats available“
“Nothing special about the place just a Hibachi Grill the floor was sticking like it had been washed but not rinsed at the end with clean water from the front door to the back. As soon as you come in the front door they try to upsell you with a drink at the bar before they ever seat you.“
“We stumbled upon this place a few months ago and we were so blown away by the price, customer care, and (above all else) quality of the food that we haven’t gone 2 weeks without stopping by. The owner is the sweetest man and genuinely puts care and attention into the food he creates. If you go anywhere else you’re spending more money for worse food.“
