“I've been meaning to check this place out for ages. My friend and I had a great time. We chatted with the regulars and played the games. They seem to be a close-knit group, which is great. I love these kinds of places. It was just a generally fun place to hang out. The BTTF art was fun. They don't have food, but there was a food truck. If you want a chill place, come here.“

“If it’s a nice day, you can’t find a better spot in SL. Outdoor seating and roll top doors to bring the outside in. Highly recommend the half price wine by the glass. Had the skewers and mushroom fondue. Both delightful. Big bar area (which is my preference). Great addition to the SL town center.“

“Cute little hole in the wall where you can chill with friends, play pool, listen to live bands some nights, karaoke on others. The bartender, Amanda is super awesome and even has some of her own signature drinks. Definitely recommend if you aren’t into the busy bar scene but still like to go somewhere to have a drink.“

The Mad Hatter Neighborhood Pub - Fort Worth Pubs • $
706 Carroll St, Fort Worth

“Mad Hatter is the best kind of little bar off west 7th. It's on the side of the street where those of us that aren't "woke" hang out. I'm good with that. It's a dive where almost everyone knows your name. Restrooms are clean and they have a shared parking lot. After bank hours it is also okay to park in their lot. Street parking is also available.“

Malone's Pub Pubs • $

“Nice Irish-ish pub in downtown Fort Worth. Only found 2 Irish drinks, Guinness and Smithwickes. I was horrified to see a Guinness being poured like a normal beer, no angle on the glass, no wait time and they kept scraping off the head. I was horrified so much I had to leave as it was like scraping my soul and culture out of the top of the glass. If they learned to pour a Guinness then it would have been a very nice experience, instead it's a horror story I'll be telling my family about. But....if you can believe it, it got worse. We ordered a Belgian Duvel and after pouring they scooped out the foam with a spoon. My Belgian colleague was in tears. Great pub, great staff, just need the little bit of training on how to pour a non-american beer or stout.“

“This establishment is phenomenal! Went in and me and my lady were greeted by the bartenders, the owner himself came up to me and shook my hand and greeted us. They were celebrating 3 birthdays and they had complimentary festivities. Me and my lady went for a couple drinks and pool but were treated with respect and awesome company! They have a great selection of craft beers on draft as well as bottled beer! Awesome alcohol selection too! They have Guiness too! Pool tables. TVs to watch sports and plenty of tables! Phenomenal place! Very impressed! Thank you for a great atmosphere!“

“Overall: This place is absolutely amazing. My friend and I came here on Wednesday and our experience was out of this world. We were the only Black Americans here and we felt extremely welcomed and served with care/honor. Reed is absolutely an amazing bartender. He was attentive, had an awesome story and just is a people person. We also ran into a guy named David, and I he was absolutely awesome.Food: we didn't have any food but I feel it would be awesome.Customer Service: Reed is the absolutely best. He is such a great person. Was extremely professional. Great guy with an amazing story. We will come back due to Reed customer service.Bottom line: Reed, you are the reason I wrote a review. You paired with David made our experience as Black Americans being the only Black People in the pub made the experience feel like we were just people. In Fort Worth we don't always feel that way and we appreciate you because you did amazing at being hou. We'll be back and thank you for your service.Parking: Free parking lot.“

“Best happy hour in downtown! The queso is on point when the kitchen is open. Best place for a variety of music and cocktails! Control the jukebox for a dollar. Graham pours the best drinks when he doesn’t have sleeves on his shirt! Need I say more? This is the best bar in Fort Worth!“

“Each menu has a unique focus, as in the “Gastronaut" and “The Good Earth,” offering superb vegetarian items. Guests can also graze through the menus to get a full sense of what the team can do. Sauces work a particular magic, as evidenced by the truffle-infused tartar with morel “crabcake.” Desserts, like coconut sorbet with ginger granité, are perfection.“

They should install overhead fans for sure! All in all very good bbq.“

“This place is closed. I live close by and it was a great neighborhood bar. I hated to see it go. There are multiple businesses that have closed in this area of west 7th. Between Covid and the luxury hotel being built across the street has doomed several businesses in the area.“

We went here for the St.Patricks Day event, but unfortunately there were hardly any tables or chairs, they were only serving food from the food trucks outside and our only choice was pizza because barbeque sold out by 2 pm. The large tent was nice, but yall need more chairs.“
