“First time here, and I really enjoyed myself. I ordered a drink. My friend made me some Honey Maple Bourbon, and Garlic Parmesan wings (All Flats). I requested my wings be extra crispy, and wet. They were delicious. I'll definitely return and try something else on the menu next time.“
“We like to go here on Thursday evenings to watch the music upstairs (Jerry Don Branch, great blues rock). Because the small upstairs bar area gets crowded early, we get there by 6 pm to get a seat for the ~7 pm show. We usually end up eating there as a result. The food is typical bar food. It's good for what it is (burgers, sandwiches, grilled chicken, salad, fries, onion rings, etc.). They have a decent variety of beer and drinks. The bar staff/waitstaff are very friendly, and though the crowd usually consists of the same group of people each time, they easily accept newcomers. To put it most simply, it's a fun place to spend a Thursday night if you like live music.“
“First time visiting and I really enjoyed myself. The food was great as well as the service. I had the wing and fry basket and was not expected it to be as good as it was. There are plenty of pool tables and other games to play. I definitely will return and try some of the other things. I had the green tea shot and it taste amazing. Also great prices on drinks and specials“
“Very friendly comfortable and loving people work and the customers they accept you with their open heart and love to have you part of your bar family it's so fun and entertaining while they have kareoke the comedy club beside is the plus come and enjoy both promise u will enjoy time being “
“I LOVE this little random bar. It’s inside Alamo Drafthouse. I’ve never seen a movie here so I’m not sure if the same menu is served in the theaters. I have tried the buffalo cauliflower wings a few times and they are always so good! The burger is a burger. Not better or worse than other places. The pizza is really tasty also. Tons of amazing local beers on draft also. The bartenders are also really friendly. Updated from previous review on 2022-07-05“
“We always enjoy eating at Nico's. Friendly people, fun bar area. Great fajitas. Great drinks. Excellent service. Wonderful neighborhood restaurant.Parking: Spots up front are often taken or tight. Cars in the lot are a sign of good food in the restaurant!Kid-friendliness: Families are always welcome“
“Never got around to writing a review for Thirsty Lion, but my party of 5 enjoyed it immensely! The service was fantastic; I don't recall our server's name but she did a wonderful job on a busy Saturday night. They messed up one of my friend's orders (who is a vegetarian) and the manager himself came out and apologized & offered to remake it for free. Portions are large, drinks are delicious, and a great place to hang out with friends or have date night!“
“Always consistent, always great and your own corner pub. Huge rotational selection of beers, sours and ciders. Had the fried mushrooms and a flash back to the 80s of the best appetizer ever. Shared the mini chicken Avocado burgers and fries with my hubby. The grilled chicken was perfect and flavorful. Each burger had the right combo of Avocado and condiments. The skinny fries were crisp, golden deliciousness. The staff is efficient and friendly. I could spend all afternoon at the bar here. It's that comfortable.“
“I love this place!!! I’ve been coming here for five years but now live nearby and I’m a regular! The bar staff is so awesome. Meghan, Jordy and Paxton usually serve us and even when it’s busy they are so awesome. Their food is also so good!! I haven’t had anything that I don’t like!! I lived in London for a year and it’s very true to an English pub except the beer is colder here.“
“Jace was our waiter and he was excellent!! Extremely helpful and funny and definitely the best part of our day. All we had were drinks and apps but there are absolutely zero complaints. If I am ever in the Dallas/Addison area again I will definitely be back“
“I found this gem on a whim and at this point I’ve been coming for about 3 years now.Bartenders are always so welcoming, engaging and knowledgeable on drinks. Definitely a regular spot for the locals but also a very diverse group of guests coming in at all times.I didn’t try the food initially for a year and when I finally did it’s become a place I’ll come for a late night bite after work.I drive around at times and definitely know the area and places to eat/drink…but this will continue to be one of my favorite spots. Thank you guys.“
“Prepare your taste buds for a journey to brunch heaven, because Chelsea's Corner is not your average breakfast joint - it's a culinary rollercoaster of flavor and fun! Picture this: you stroll into Chelsea's Corner, and suddenly, you're transported to a whimsical wonderland where brunch dreams come true. The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant, like your favorite sweater infused with a pop of color. Now, let's talk about the food. Oh boy, where do I even begin? From the moment you take your first bite, you'll feel like you've hit the brunch jackpot. The menu is a delightful mix of classic favorites and unexpected twists that'll make your taste buds do a happy dance. I mean, who knew you could fall in love with avocado toast all over again? Chelsea's Corner takes this brunch staple to the next level with creamy avocado, perfectly poached eggs, and a sprinkle of magic (okay, maybe it's just some fancy seasoning, but it tastes like magic, trust me). And don't even get me started on the pancakes. These fluffy stacks of goodness are like little pillows of happiness, topped with a dollop of whipped cream and a cascade of maple syrup. It's like eating a hug from your grandma, but with a side of Instagram-worthy aesthetics. But the real MVP of brunch at Chelsea's Corner? The bottomless mimosas. Yes, you heard that right - BOTTOMLESS. It's like a never-ending stream of bubbly goodness that'll have you feeling like royalty (or at least a brunch champion). So, if you're looking for a brunch spot that'll tickle your taste buds and leave you smiling from ear to ear, look no further than Chelsea's Corner. Just be warned: you might leave with a serious case of brunch-induced bliss. But hey, isn't that what Sundays are for?“
“Went for St Patrick's Day & was so excited to get a cup of French Onion however they only had a limited menu. I ended up getting the cheeseburger and it was good & juicy & huge. I'll definitely be back for my cup of soup!“
“The food is fantastic here! We ordered a bacon cheeseburger with french fries, blackened chicken (w/o the bun) with bacon and grilled vegetables, and a side order of deviled eggs. It was for take out. It is the best bar food that I have ever had. Everything was high quality and worth every penny! The bartender was very friendly and helpful. We will be ordering food from here in the future.“
“Bar was busy for a Monday evening. Jerry was running like a mad-man; service was not an issue! Let's start with the Moscow Mule and dirty Grey Goose martini - both were excellent. I think I liked the prices of their drinks almost as much as I liked the drink itself. The food - everything was delicious, from the Sampler Platter to the Fish & Chips, Burger to my favorite, the Monte Cristo. Prices were decent. I've been looking for a quaint little bar and this fit the bill and it's close to work. Good place to pop in for lunch or after for a drink.“
“We had outstanding service from our waiter, Drew, who helped us out with some dietary restrictions. The french fries are delicious as an appetizer and everyone enjoyed their entrées. We like this restaurant because it has a nice convivial feel to it.“
“5 star foodGranted, I always get the same thing - their Cuban sandwich -- but honestly it's the best one I've had outside of Tampa. Im sure the rest of the menu is great, but that is an assumption because I really only ever order the CubanIt's that good“
“Great little pub in downtown Plano! Dark and cozy, plenty of seating. Huge variety of drinks, good menu. I had the fish and chips, it was delicious however the serving was extremely small for the $16 price. My partner enjoyed their regular burger, fries are extra. Service was very sparse, server rarely came to our table, waterless/drink less for the majority of the time. Menu prices have changed.“
“I come to Uptown at least once a week. One of me and my coworker's favorite spots to go for lunch! The food is always tasty, they have great portion sizes, fair prices, and even offer lunch specials. It has a nice neighborhood bar feel, with a diverse crowd and good tunes! The drinks are always yummy and strong, and they have a great beer selection! All the staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and always accommodating. They have a great outside patio to enjoy on nice days, and even have karaoke on Tuesday nights! Would definitely recommend Uptown Pub if you're looking for good eats, stiff drinks and chill vibes with good peeps!“
“This was our 2nd time going... the first time was alright a couple drinks and each of us ate a salad...But today, I saw Buffalo cauflower & artichoke hearts... sounded good but wasn't something I enjoyed... it is a great location, has a patio with tables & TVs and I've seen the place packed...I'll definitely recommend...Vegetarian options: Veggie burgerCauliflower & Artichoke heartsSalads“
“I had so much fun the atmosphere and the music was inviting, I ordered the Hamburguesa, my kids got the Cajun pasta, and we shared the bread pudding. Everything was delicious. ?Everyone was nice and helpful. ??The only thing I DIDN'T like was that the drinks were weak “
“Very good restaurant inside the Embassy Suites. The prices were very reasonable and the food quality was excellent. I had a buffalo chicken salad and it was great. A member of my party had the filet with mashed potatoes and it looked amazing. Great cut of meat and it was cooked perfectly.I would definitely return and the service was great considering there was only a single server there. They do close early, so you'll have to wrap up your night by 10pm during the week“
“Amazing place to grab a beer with friends. Kids are welcome which makes it even better. The beer selection is incredible and there are plenty of options for everyone to choose. They don't have food, only popcorn, but there are a couple of food places walking distance that you can bring your food from.“
“Barley is amazing. I go several nights a week, the bartenders and staff are absolutely incredible people. It's my go to chill bar vibe, and they will have live bands and trivia some nights. Drinks are good, and not too expensive. The pink frozen drink is awesome. They also have the BEST mozzarella sticks in dallas, I get them almost every time I go they are just so delicious. Also they have a fire steak quesadilla. Highly recommend!“
“WOW! WOW! WOW! If you live in the area, get in your car, and go to Hillside right now. Food: DELICIOUS, flavorful, fresh, unique takes on classic dishes.- Tate burger was heavenly!- Rueben has a spicy, peppery, and Smokey take- Onion Rings: HUGE. Savory batter with a fresh herb style ranch.- Buffalo wings: Crispy, buttery, balanced, fresh. We will be back! I’m sad it took us so long to stop in, but glad to have another go to.“
“Great hang out spot with a good value happy hour. The French fries and wings are fantastic but we have tried other things that were not good (queso & fried pickles were a let down). I would say if you are going to order food, stick with the staple bar food like fries, wings, and burgers. Can't go wrong!“
