“I was impressed with the service and food. But mostly impressed by seeing the owner of the restaurant be involved. He was cleaning tables, picking up dirty plates from customers, asking how everything was going. This to me is high quality service. Many restaurants should learn from the type of customer service these folks provide.“
“My son lost his football on the roof near the outdoor patio, he was super sad because he had just been given that ball as the “game ball” for having a good game. I told the manager, not really expecting them to be able to do anything about it, and they came out with a ladder and grabbed the ball. A+ service. I was very impressed and thankful. Amazing job guys!“
“Haidilao lives up to its name in terms of service, quality and of course amusement. We went with the whole family close to opening time and got in without a wait. Ordering was a breeze on their tablet, and items came out almost instantaneously-- before some of us even had a chance to make our dipping sauces! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We used the English version of some of the "secret phrases" for some goodies. If you're wondering, they do do the ke mu san dance that's gone viral on TikTok. In terms of food-- everything was excellent, from the side dishes to the hot pot items. Presentation was always stellar, especially the "dancing noodles" XD The one thing I wouldn't bother with are the dessert mousses-- they came frozen and stayed that way for a good 20min, and don't have much flavor and I wasn't a big fan of the texture. Then again-- you probably didn't come to Haidilao for dessert.“
“For our drive back to San Antonio, Katy was a stopping point for lunch so we thought to try Hubby had seen this restaurant and chef featured by Tanji Patton. We realized after coming home that during our first visit, they were closed for the celebration of life of Chef Alex Au-Yeung, who passed away recently from a battle with cancer. We had long visited Banana Leaf, a restaurant in Houston Chinatown and another restaurant he owned. Hubby had Prickly Pear & Melon drink and I had Pineapple Ginger drink. Dad didn't care for either one. I was excited to see Roti Canai on the menu. I had not had that since my backpacking days in Malaysia. So so good! We had the Award Winning Kerabu Prawn, which was tasty. We then shared the Beef Hor Fun and Billionaire Fried Rice. Everything was fantastic! No wonder the chef was 2022 James Beard semi-finalist for Texas's Best Chef Award.“
“This was my first time here and when I say everything from the food to the drinks was amazing!!! I have never walked in a place where the people made you feel like you was the most important person. Special thanks to Chelsea and Sean the bartenders and Kenneth The executive sous chef and The manager, Adam, I will definitely be back.“
“We were just passing through and saw the place and decided to stop to eat on our way home to Brazoria TX. We didn't eat much but what we did made us love it and will definitely come back to try the rest. The Fried mushrooms were awesome, crispy and juicy as well and the fried parmesan French Fries were great too. Great Job and complements to the chief.“
“Service is amazing. Cashier was excellent in explaining the menu and was very personable. Service was quick and attentive. Came around and check if everything was right, food was good, and pick up any plates that were done. A must try is the hush puppies. Light and not oily like many other places. A definite place to stop by at eat at.“
“Visited this location this past week and was pleasantly surprised. I was invited for a birthday dinner so we were a large group. The food came quick and the service was exceptional. The nature of this restaurant is known to be a loud atmosphere, so be prepared for such. Overall would recommend.“
“Food & Service:The menu at this Vietnamese-Cajun fusion spot dazzles with its vibrant flavors, marrying traditional dishes with fresh, local ingredients. A prime example of this culinary artistry is the Shrimp Étouffée, a dish that brings a novel twist to the Cajun classic, making each bite a revelation.Beyond the standout dishes, the service adds to the restaurant’s charm. The staff’s attentiveness and warmth ensure a delightful dining experience, readily recommending dishes and accommodating families with genuine care. With offerings that range from spicy seafood boils to delicate spring rolls, there’s something for every palate. The combination of inventive food and helpful service creates a dining experience that goes beyond the meal itself, inviting diners back to explore more of this unique culinary fusion.“
“Me and my wife walked into the establishment and we loved the vibe the restaurant was given. Very ambient and relaxing, a good place to talk. We went ahead and sat at the bar and through the whole night we experienced amazing service from the bartender Emiliano. We couldn’t have asked for better service as he was very attentive with anything we needed. The food was nice, hot and tasted amazing. Danny the Owner was also around and he came and talked to us and we couldn’t be happier with this establishment. Definitely a 10/10 and we will be coming back frequently.“
“The food is great! The restaurant advertises "the best tacos in Texas." In my experience, they just might be right. I especially the like mole chicken, which is just a bit picante but amazingly delicious. Sometimes there is live music.“
“Stopped by on a Friday evening, had been craving a lobster roll and this did not disappoint. Lobster roll and fries were fresh and delicious, and owner is super friendly. Does not hurt that it’s 5 minutes from the house too. Would recommend.“
“Stopped by this place while getting my brakes fixed. It's a quiet, more relaxed version of waffle house. If you want staff that isn't aggressive or is prone to respond negatively towards a request, this is your place. The staff was friendly and professional. The food came out very fast.“
“This is a delicious, authentic Chinese restaurant! I have been impressed with every item I have ordered! My husband and I have been coming here for about a year now, and they are consistent with the taste and speedy preparations! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that is seeking a Chinese cuisine!“
“Excellent Food and Service. We had a very large group of 26-30 people, The service was friendly, prompt and on target. All entrees served within 5minutes. Kudos to the manager (Rebecca) and primary server (Deyonce) the kitchen staff and the other servers who helped pull this off. Don’t wait forever r a special day occasion, make this place a regular on our rotation!!!!“
“Some of the best crawfish I’ve ever had! Excellent flavor without punching you in the face, not too salty, and all the varieties of the veggies are super tasty. The owner is friendly and helpful, and has always been kind about answering questions and listening to feedback. I’ve been several times this season and can’t wait to go back again!“
“When you pull up to this place you will be tempted to turn around and leave. Don’t!! This food is really good. And they give you plenty. Not really a five star but definitely a 4.65. There is no dine in; just take out. Call ahead first though. They make it fresh to order so if you arrive then order, expect a little bit of a wait. Fried rice will bring you back.“
“We ordered the parradilla fajitas, chicken and shrimp for one...believe me..it's enough for two! Very authentic charro beans, rice ....delicious! Ice cold beer with ice cold mugs. Great price if your on a budget! Music is authentic! Get here soon and enjoy!Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of room to move around“
“This is the best birria I have ever tasted. The tacos were scrumptious. They gave you a small bowl consume to dip the tacos, excellent! It's a little hole in the wall and no indoor dining, but that did not take away from the taste of the food. My daughter had the foil pack with jumbo shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn on the cob. Everything had a spice and flavor to it. It's a must stop in Rosenberg, TX by Houston. It's worth the trip.“
“The food here is very good not kid friendly definitely an adult style restaurant. Not an issue next time we know. Also my wife slipped on a lemon peel on the floor and no one came to see if she was ok or even asked if she was fine. A little disappointed in that situation but it is what it is.“
