Great food! I got the chicken quesadilla, birria tacos, and my friend got a pork torta, and al pastor tacos, both with an added side of rice and refried beans. All of it was delicious. The refried beans are the best I have tried in Galveston Island, hands down!!! I'm a local. Would recommend! My only complaint was the birria tacos did not come with the consumè to dip the birria tacos in.
This place is great! Each time I've been here the food has been top notch! Might be the best Mexican on the island. The quesadilla (or signature machete if you're starving or splitting) is amazing. Tried the steak and marinated pork versions and pork is the winner. The staff are friendly and efficient. The strip mall it's in is nothing special, but don't let it fool you about the quality inside.
