We went to The Spot for a late lunch on Monday. It has a nice vibe and was an easy place to hang out with friends. We got in and out without much of a wait. I enjoyed being able to seat myself and we were able to find a seat facing the water. It was very windy and cold so it was nice to find a spot with a view inside. Over the phone and in person this place is full of friendly busy bees. Over the phone and fifty miles away I spoke to Octavia who helped me coordinate my moms 60th birthday to be placed on the spot sign while we went there for happy hour food and drinks. While there we ordered and paid at the bar top. Our names were called over the speaker and for food everyone ordered natchos, Mozzarella cheese sticks, wings, shrimp cocktail and friend pickles. Super hot day, super busy place and only two employees who busted their hineys to keep customers happy! Good service, tasty fresh food! I had Blackened tacos - fish was soft and flaky and the food was sooo yummy I ate too much! My lunch date had fish n chips he said was very favorable, not too breast snd not greasy. Would certainly come back here again !
