“This place is incredible! It's like stepping back in time. Amazing vintage style soda shop with ice cream treats, snacks, and vintage candies! They also have a bunch of awesome various home and decor shopping in the back along with tons of super cool toys as well. “My group came to Glen Rose to see The Promise Play. I called Pinstripes a few days prior to let them know that I am bringing 32 people to eat at their restaurant. None of us had ever eaten at Pinstripes. I spoke with Manager Josh who was very friendly and he helped me figure out how many pizzas I needed to order. When we arrived they had our tables and seats set up. All of our pizzas were on our tables within minutes. Everyone in our group LOVED the pizza!!! We had several different types of pizzas. I highly recommend Pinstripes!! Their restaurant style is fun and inviting!!”

“Not only did I have the pleasure of eating the best salad and cacio e pepe today, I was the recipient of a random act of true kindness. My husband is in the hospital at Glen Rose medical center for a week, and I wanted a fresh, homemade meal today. I called and ordered based on the recommendations of the kind voice on the other end of the line. When I ventured over to the beautiful Inn on the River, picked up my food and was crossing the front of the building back to my car, a kind woman was leaning out the door on the front porch of the Inn and said “are you Amy?” Turns out it was Chef Pam and she was letting me know if we needed a meal or snack, to just call anytime and they’d deliver to us at the hospital. Pam you made my day, not only by your incredible food, but by your incredible kindness! I can’t wait to bring my husband in when he recovers. Everyone do yourself a favor and visit Snyder’s tavern!”

“This place hits the spot and then hits again later with the reheated leftovers! Always worth the drive! New ownership as of last Fall and they are doing big things out there with physical improvements like new restrooms & some new flavors. Where else can you eat lunch with your daughters and about 30 or so biker Devil Dogs?! Go support em when you can! Great people and great food.”

“We live in Weatherford and made the drive to Glen Rose this past weekend for the Paluxy River Fest. We stopped into this boutique and it is just precious! Friendly, greeted the moment you walk in and treated just like family! We found some super cute clothes for my picky teen and she was so excited! The owner is just so sweet and the young lady who checked us out, maybe family to the owner, is absolutely amazing! There is really something for everyone. We will definitely make the drive back to purchase more treasures! You can tell the very moment you walk into a boutique how the energy and vibe is, and how you will be treated! Thank you so much for such a wonderful visit to your lovely town! You are a rare gem! Trust me, make the drive!”

“My son and I stopped in for Kolaches on the way to DVSP. Tracey and Kelsey (I hope I spelled those correctly) were absolutely amazing! They were engaging, pleasant, honest, and fun. The food was good, but not great. Nothing to complain about, though. Maybe the owners should try investing in quality ingredients in order to increase traffic. Otherwise, it all falls on Tracey and Kelsey, who seem to be the ENTIRE reason they have regulars. I'll stop in again next time I'm in town to say hello to those two.”

“We called in an order and it was ready in 10 min. on a Sat evening. Pleasant staff and very good BBQ Ribs. We especially liked the black pepper bark on the ribs and the sauce was really good. Potato salad, cole slaw and onion rings were excellent. BIG ribs lots of tender meat. Really Hammond's Good Job. Older folks like us appreciate good food at a reasonable cost. Also try the Fried Pie at the Fried Pie Shop on 67.”

“Amazingly good food!! Got the Chicken Parmesan, Fettuccine Alfredo, several different pizzas, salad and rolls for a rehearsal dinner. Everyone absolutely loved the food, we had tons leftover and it was very reasonably priced. We are from out of town and took our chances ordering and so glad we picked this restaurant. So good!!”

“So this cafe is the overlook cafe of Fossil Rim! So enjoyable, you will eat good food and it was fresh food too, hardly a wait for the food as they cook it FRESH! You can see the giraffes and deer while you wait for food and while you eat. So many children enjoy this area it's amazing. We will be back time and time again. Great date for my wife as well, I can not wait! Thanks to my best friend for showing me this place! I love it!!!!

The guacamole, should be freshly made to order… and if you were to make table side guacamole it would be very popular. Your waitresses are the very best.”
