“Food is delicious. The quality and price is quite good according to the amount of food per plate. I don't eat anything spicy and this is the only Mexican food place (at least that I know of) that when they say it's not spicy, it's REALLY NOT spicy. The service is also excellent. They are always very friendly.I've been coming for a year or so and they never disappoint.“

“I drive through there from Austin, TX to take care of my Mom in Wichita Falls,TX. I will get about 6 tacos or breakfast burritos depending on the time, for me and my mom. There are other Taco Bells on the way but you are the best one from all the others.“

“Short version:Beautiful place, awkward start, very good food.Long Version:This visit was quite interesting. On Easter Sunday, just after noon, I expected this place to be packed. However, we were seated immediately and there were very few occupied tables. The building is very nicely done on the outside, and there is plenty of parking. Inside, it has a very elegant feel with stone and dark wood throuout and modern lighting fixtures. There is a beautiful bar set to the side with its own seating and even a semi-private area beyond it. I noticed a completely private room to the left of the entry which looks inviting for private lunch/dinner meetings. They have effectively used a lot of glass windows to create an uncongested feel. The thing that really struck me as a first impresssion is how we were seated and what happened next. Nothing. The entire restaurant is set up with completely blank tables, which creates a very uneasy feeling that we were there before they were open or ready for us. Not even a center piece or even salt and pepper. The Hostess placed a menus for the two of us and we just sat. It was very quiet and they did have music playing softly, but there was no real buzz or excitement. So, for 5 minutes we just sat. A lady did stop by and place a basket of chips and a couple small salsas and did say a polite 'hello'. Then, we continued to sit, without contact or even a napkin for 10 minutes. I only mention this because it was really uncomfotable. We saw a busser pass through and two waiters who pushed a few tables together for a 10 top family that was coming and ran food to the bar table. Still, just walking by and not even looking at us. Just odd. Finally, a waiter stopped and asked if we needed something to drink. He did not introduce himself which makes an odd situation even more odd. Yes, chips & salsa with no napkins, etc was awkward and making us thirsty. We ordered the queso with beef and sodas. Here is where it gets better. When he very quickly brought the queso he provided a utensil roll. At that time he asked about ordering. I asked for recommendations and he very estutely inquired about what I was looking for. He provided a primary and secondary recommdation. I asked about another item in comparison and he stuck with his primary as a choice, so that's what I ordered. Well done. The menu is extensive and diverse. Quite a few options. The food came out in a timely manner and both items we ordered were quite good and pleasantly suprising on portion size. Both of us could only eat about half. We had the Cocina Changa and the Pollo Moderno. We very much enjoyed the presentation and flavor or the food. The Moderno lets you create your own rolls with the pico/guac/ and the sauteed veggies or onion, mushroom and cabbage make for a fun and engaging experience and crafted to your own taste. The rice with the Moderno was delicious, too. The Changas (combo beef and chicken as our choice) were quite good and quite large. The chicken edged out the beef, I believe but both are quite good. When we werew done, the waiter brought a tray with to go containers so we didn't have to ask. Then, he took our items, packaged them for us in very nice folding boxes, added a bag of fresh chips and salsa container, and placed in a very nice to-go bag (impressive and classy). As a side note, the bathrooms were also very modern, well kept, and clean. The buzz only picked up slightly while we were there, but still remained very quiet. So even though I made some interesting observations because of the slightly odd experience, I will definetely return and recommend to others.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessable“

“WOW, I mean this was a great place! The food was wonderful the service was on point and the atmosphere is authentic. The only down side was the wait but I would chalk that up to 2 big parties being there for birthdays. Will definitely be coming back and you need to give it a try!“

“this is my favorite place to go for ice cream. their scooped ice cream is nice and creamy— i always get the gansito flavor. i also recently tried their elote en vaso for the first time and it was delicious; they go heavy on the toppings, which i really like because you don't end up eating some scoops of mostly just corn. on top of that, everyone who works here is always so friendly and the place is kept clean!“

“The best authentic Salvadoran I’ve had in the area! For starters the chips and salsa were fresh and not too spicy. We ordered mixed fajitas it was amazing, they had homemade corn tortillas, and even the refried beans were so delicious. The shrimp and Mojarra was cooked and seasoned perfectly, definitely recommend this place 10/10 with everything including the service!“

“Sneaky great takeout place. Big portions. Nice menu. Serious eats. People say SoCal Mexican style, but I have no idea. Food is gooood. Salsa bar has some pizzazz. Don't eat in, though. Place reeks of surface cleaner. Good to know they clean but a bit much. They need to get serious and open up a legit restaurant. They would rake.“

“These are the best tacos in the metroplex. These are the best quesadillas in the metroplex. I have eaten at every Mexican food place you have and then some. These tacos are better than those tacos. The green sauce is the best green sauce. The red sauce will melt your face and you’ll beg for more. Do yourself a favor and eat here. I recommend the Al pastor tacos and the chicharrone tacos. The cabeza tacos are also good, but Al pastor is best in my humble opinion. You aren’t doing the fine ladies and gentleman that work here any favors by eating here; they are doing YOU a favor by taking your order and cooking for you. Look at my pic. I might eat the styrofoam box too. That is how good it is.“

“If you have not tried this place you are definitely missing out. Tried for the first time today and loved everything we ordered. Tex mex with a Laredo twist, but taste homemade and with love. From the margaritas to dessert this place hit all points. Don’t sleep on this restaurant. We will be back for sure! The service was amazing even the owner was on the floor and not hidden.“

“I apparently need to make it out to Justin more often! We stopped after some boot shopping for lunch! An obviously popular place, we settled into our seats. Quick friendly service with that small town touch.Normally I’m not a big salsa girl, but theirs tasted so fresh! The margarita -and floater- was great!!!Enchiladas were tasty and a great tomatillo sauce- i will be back to truly test this place and order the chili rellenos- my true test-If you find yourself in the area- take the time to try them!“
“TL;DR: Not a restaurant style place (when we went, order at the bar). But food & drinks were delicious. Will be back for the live music & dance. We just walked up to the bar to order food & drink. The Quesabirria tacos were pretty good, and the consume was one of the best I had. Interesting drink selection, the margaritas are nice, refreshing, and quality ingredients. They had Spanish music YouTube videos playing on a huge projector and it was really nice. Good sound system. They have a little dance area. Apparently on Friday nights they usually have a live DJ and on Saturday nights they usually have a live band. Will definitely be coming back for the dance experience.“

“We went to JJ's Taco Shop on N. Tarrant and Davis Friday night. Oscar was our server and he did an amazing job. He was friendly and very attentive. We shared the Cowboy Sampler. The chicken quesadillas and Taquitos were good as well as the Queso. The Steak Skewers were a little tough, but they had good flavor. My friend got the Peach Margarita and said it was very good. We also tried the Elote Cup, it was great. The atmosphere is great, a little loud in the bar area, but they have a separate room in the back that may be a little quieter if you are looking for that. We will definitely be back, and ask for Oscar's section.“

“Moving in to the area and was super excited to try this little hidden gem and of course I turned to Yelp. Let me start by saying the Salsa is sooooo good. Fresh and delicious. My sister said it tasted just like mine. The chips were perfect and the bean dip served with the chips and salsa was tasty. We agree with the other reviews about the queso. It's good but is missing something. We ordered the enchiladas and they were served quick and we really enjoyed them. The service is amazing. Highly recommend.“

“The food is good, and made with LOVE. You can tell. This place is not overpriced like all of the other Mexican restaurants throughout this area and Keller. The food reminds me of home in San Antonio. Barbacoa tacos $2.50, beautiful. I found a new favorite for this area.“

“So good! We had the carne asada, carnitas, and barbacoa street tacos. The carnitas and carne asada were our favorites. The street corn was interesting, it didn't have the usual red stuff on it and didn't really taste like much. It's pretty expensive for street tacos, our order was over $40 for 7 tacos, elotes, and 2 drinks. They do have different pricing if you pay with cash vs credit card. It was about $2 more to pay with credit card.“

“My buddy and I came in based off other Google reviews and were not disappointed. This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant. The owner took care of us and she was fantastic. The conversation was great and the service was great. I mentioned carne guisada and she said she could make it even though it’s not on the menu. It was the best I’ve ever had, hands down. My buddy got the entree served in a pineapple. We both tried each others dish and his was incredible as well. I can’t forget the guac either, it was fresh and delicious. 10/10 recommend this place.“

“I totally forgot to take a picture of our food.It was our first visit, and there was a bit of a wait, but it wasn't bad at all. We stopped in for lunch and must say that it was a great last-minute choice. It was the first time that I had received Beans with our Chips and Salsa ?. They were good.I had the Crab stuffed Shrimp with Refried Beans and Rice, and my husband had the Combo Fajitas. The portions were good and the food was hot when it arrived at the table.I would have liked a little more seasonings in the cheese sauce that covered my dish, but it was good as it was...We will be back to explore more dishes...“

“Place is inside a gas station, but don't let that fool you. The food here is A+. The tamales are some of the best I've had in the North Richland Hills or Hurst area. This place can go toe to toe with more expensive sit down restaurants and beat them. Check this place out.“

“I had some business nearby and was absolutely starving afterwards, so I did what I do and found the nearest Taco Casa. Straight to the drive-thru. The food here is reliably delicious and always served very hot. I never mind almost burning my mouth on the frijoles because I prefer my hot food extra hot. Especially fast food that's gotta last through a drive home. I actually ate one of my crunchy tacos on my drive because I couldn't wait, and that first bite was joyous. Then I got home and my 2 year old happily ate most of what I'd bought.. We're big Taco Casa fans in this house“

“So it’s a pretty basic set up. You walk up, order at the register and pick up once your tacos are ready. The line and wait is hit or miss. Sometimes you can wait what feels like forever and sometimes it’s fast. I’ve tried a few different meats and I would say they are also hit and miss. I’ve gotten asada tacos twice. Once loved it - one hated it. But overall, I would say the food is good. It’s fresh, made to order and generally tastes pretty good.“

“My dad and I both had the huevos rancheros with sunny side up eggs and they were soooo good. I ate mine with the green salsa (less spicy in my opinion) and my dad covered his with the red salsa. (Ok they are not very photogenic but just trust me.) ?I don't live in the area but he's looking forward to going again and trying something else from the menu.“

“Came to pick up wings from this place yesterday. It was our first time stopping in. Employees were very friendly. The wings were fresh and tasted amazing however a lot of the rub ended up in the bottom of the box not giving the outside much flavor but the flavor I could taste was pretty good.By far the Lemon Pepper is the best. Followed by the Garlic Parmesan. The Honey Garlic and Hot Lemon Pepper were a bit disappointing however. While these wings weren’t overpowering with flavor there wasn’t enough seasoning put on them. Also I’d try to find ways to not make most of the seasoning fall to the bottom of the box.The fries were OK. They weren’t crispy enough but the spicy ranch seasoning was good. I definitely wouldn’t recommend the fries. The place was clean and cute, they are still trying to make adjustments as there is no grocery store there yet.Overall this place was decent. I’m going to give this place a pass since they are pretty new. Next time I’m going to try their Burgers and Onion Rings. Overall the place was good but there is a lot of adjustments they could make.“

“Great Tex-Mex food. Seasoned well and the portions are huge. Can definitely share a plate if you are watching how much you consume. Food came out really fast and it was all hot for a table of 10. The entire team worked together and the camaraderie was like a well oiled machine. Great job. Would recommend and will be back. Our server was also amazing, so sorry I forgot his name!“

“Just finished a fantastic breakfast at Kassandra’s. I had the carne guisada and eggs, added some hashbrowns, and everything was wonderful. Flavorful and tender beef, crispy hashbrowns, and warm soft homemade tortillas. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. A few of the negative reviews made me nervous but I can only assume they caught the place on an off day for some of the staff as my service was fast and friendly. As you might note from my other reviews, I visit Mexican restaurants all across the southwest and expect specific flavors and experiences, and this place meets my expectations perfectly.“

“While everything was yummy, those who ordered bean burritos didn't realize the only filler in the tortillas were beans; I think they assumed they'd get cheese, tomatoes, etc, too. But that was our fault for not looking at the menu more closely.“

“First time eating at Rosa's cafe. My husband and I were passing by and smelled something fantastic. We looked around and my husband said it must be Rosa's cafe. We went and I ordered the taco salad with beef and in my opinion it was delicious. Very flavorful. I had refried beans in mine which I don't usually care for but theirs were good and I enjoyed them in my salad. My husband just ordered half a pound of chicken and I tasted and it was good. Very well seasoned. So I will be going back to try other dishes from the menu.“

“Rosa's is great and a little bit less expensive than other restaurants like this. I like to take my family here when we're craving Rosa's. I love their fresh flour tortillas. “My husband and I stopped in here one night while visiting from out of town. We were immediately seated and had a server who was very friendly and knowledgeable. The entire staff was amazing. The owners even came over and introduced themselves and made us feel right at home. The steak fajitas I had were mouth watering. I’ve never had steak in a fajita this tender. It seriously melted in your mouth. Very impressive! The queso, margaritas, churros…. Everything was fantastic. “Brisket tacos are the best but what about brisket that has been marinated in Modelo? ? Tacos are a staple in our diet and we love trying new varieties anytime we get the chance. Simple ingredients done well; brisket, cheese, avocado, and pico! It's a must try along with the queso. Don't think it's your boring run of the mill queso. The queso at Baja has so much going on; from the meat to the guacamole to the melted cheese. It's a must try! If you even have room after the phenomenal salsa and chips before you even order.“

“If you want a model of excellent service, top notch food, amazing drinks, and a great atmosphere. Come here. There was a small wait on a Friday evening but I didn't mind that at all. The bartender was quick to bring drinks to my party. When we were seated, our waiter Elvin, was right there to greet us and take our order. The queso and table-side quac was out of this world tasty. Our actual meals arrived at the perfect time as our appetizers were winding down. Every bite of every meal was absolutely delicious. It isn't a matter of if I return but when. I can't rate this restaurant high enough.Vegetarian options: Typical options you would expect to find at a Tex-Mex restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegetarian options albeit not vegan options.Parking: It is all open parking around the area. There may have been valet at a couple spots but it wasn't necessary.Kid-friendliness: I didn't see a children's menu but I am certain there are options that children would enjoy such as tacos and quesadillas.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessible doors and the establishment is pretty tight. It would prove difficult to find seating for an individual that is wheelchair bound.“

“Food was pretty decent. Nothing too special but all around good. The corn tortillas are magnificent. Unfortunately they are not made in house. But again, very very good. They have a spicier salsa that you have to ask for. It is fantastic! Their house salsa is very very good and tastes very fresh. Mixing the two creates the perfect bite for us.The service is good but even better during lunchtime. The only complaint is with the drinks we ordered. They looked nothing like the photos on the table. Absolutely nothing like the advertised photos. Tasty but definitely not worth ordering again. Will return because there is not a lot to choose from around the Saginaw/Haslet area. That is pretty much all I can say.“
