“First time coming here for lunch after solar eclipse! While many restaurants are closed, this store was kindly opened and welcome us with open arms! The lady staff was very friendly and explained all our questions we had! We ordered the vegetarian options and I got vermicelli with tofu and it was a good choice! For my drink I got green creamy stuff that was promoting at the counter! This restaurant was very friendly and nice vibe was present! :) Easy 5 stars from us! Keep up the good work and cheers“

It was a little surprising you can’t see the bakery items in the case well or even pictures of what you are ordering. But everything I got was great. The Silo Cookie was big and flavorful and crispy in the best way. The croissant, the Prize Pig biscuit and the Spring Box of 6 cupcakes were all lovely.“

“My friend took me here for my birthday dinner and the food was so good! My 1 1/2 year old came with us and she couldn’t stop saying “wowww” the entire time and even blew kisses to the waitress. “When in Waco, TX and especially when you visit Baylor University, you have to stop by Shorty's Pizza Shack. There's plenty of room inside and on the outside patio to sit. The atmosphere is fun and the energy of the crowd is good. The wait staff are friendly and the food is good. The Cinnamon knots are amazing and our favorite item on the menu. The Pillows are all great as well as the pizza. Definitely worth checking out!“

“Truly magical experience! Not your regular visit to Olive garden. It was date night and we were greeted promptly sat within 10 minutes. The seating was perfect in a corner where no one was even though the restaurant was somewhat crowded. The manager actually greeted us and sat us and then waited on us along with the later. “There are many great pizza options in Waco now but I always return to Poppa Rollo's when I come back to my hometown. Wife tried the BBQ chicken pizza and said it was the best she ever had. My daughter destroyed her mini cheese pizza. Love the beef topping. Make sure to order extra cheese on top to help keep the toppings on.“

All the dishes we ordered was favorable and it had a lot of vegetables which I really liked.Service was attentive but not spectacular. Overall I would still recommend.Kid-friendliness: There is no kid menu but easy to share and food is not spicy. Very suitable for children.“
