Rather than spend too much time on a beer, I looked at the first set of beers and chose one. It just happened to be one for this time of year, the Octoberfest (#3). I would order it again if given the opportunity.“

“This was our first time dining at this local gem. We were so surprised with the crowd for dinner on a Thursday night. The wait staff and managers were so welcoming and enquired about our experience and satisfaction. The Ribeye steak was perfectly seared, juicy, and done to my likeness. Our party also loved the fish entrees. The sides Brussel sprouts, Mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes were well liked. The Augratin potatoes were a bit too watery for our liking. We had a great time hanging out with friends. The lighting for photos needs some work as getting the perfect, well lit shots is a bit challenging. The outside lounge seating is good, although one of the outdoor fireplaces did not work. We would be back for more...“

My son came to meet up with some homeschool friends, and my family stayed and played games while he socialized. “We went there for a wine tasting. Our daughter recommended this. You bring your own food for these tastings, so we didn't eat any of their food. There was live music, which was nice. Had one TV showing all things in Texas. Very informative and interesting. A small place but has enough room to be comfortable. Has craft beers available besides wine. Will go back.“

“This is one of those places where the regulars are actually really cool. I have had the privilege of going to Dan’s Silverleaf for the past three weekends. I used to live in Denton, but I did not frequent this place. I didn’t know what I was missing out on. “First time trying and we are fans. We have been looking for a restaurant that was close to our old home and have not had any luck. Then we decided to try this place.... yum! If you haven't tried it you have to give them a try. I love the green dip and have not found anything even close to what I get when I go to Houston for I visit ny family....the green dip is almost a perfect match! We had the combo fajitas and they were delicious! Only thing we would change are the chips. They aren't horrible but we like the thinner chips. “I stopped in this joint after the longest, taxing and exhaustive road trip in all of history. It is less than a mile from my hotel. I quit smoking 2 years ago but something in this charming cigar bar sang me a siren song. I suddenly found myself smoking a Leather Rose cigar and drinking a $20 old fashioned. To be fair, it tastes like a $20 old fashioned and was concocted, served and accompanied by a charming woman that sparkled in every direction. Dazzled my eyes, soothed my road-weary bones and the two gentlemen smoking cigars with me?
