“Excellent beef suya sandwich and sweet potatoes fries, but pricy. Menu prices are not updated so look in the website for current prices. The difference is about $10. Gratuity of 20% is included even if you are only 1 person. I spent $39 for an excellent hamburger with sweet potatoes fries and 1 beer. ?, but only 1 person.“
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I just left your restaurant with a to-go order of jollof rice with assorted meats and plantains, and I must say this was one of the MOST DELICIOUS meals I've had in a long time. Friendly customer service, short wait and very flavorful and fresh. Only regret is that I didn't order more assorted meat.Thank you for establishing your restaurant on this side of Houston. Much appreciated and I will be back again and again to try more foods. ???⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“This place is small but it's packing a lot of flavor. The customer service was good. The food is made fresh and they have homemade drinks. Almost everything me and my friends had was delicious. My favorite was the turkey Suya, meat pies, samosas, beef suya and zobo slushies. If you are looking for some good African food. I would highly recommend this place“
“The food here is amazing! I loved everything we ordered. Everything was served beautifully and we didn't leave a bite. The spicy mami roll, spicy edamame and tuna tartar tots were some of our favorites. The creme brulee was great as well!! Service was top tier, we had a server named Mindi and she was incredible. We will absolutely be coming back soon“
“I Am so happy that I found this Jewel Omalicha Kitchen the food is delicious and the prices are reasonable for a full belly. Lastly, I am going to tell everyone I know than want to experience great hospitality and great African cuisine to visit Omalicha Kitchen.“
“OMG. This is one of the most delicious and delightful dishes I have had. I plan to eat every thing on the menu. The milk yogurt I have used as a meal replacement which has helped me lose five pounds . Support black owned businesses. This is a real Gem.“
“I ordered a variety of dishes for my family and I. They were all delicious and the meats was not tough to chew. This will be my spot for Nigerian foods for now onVegetarian options: Requested Egusi stew with no meat and it's delicious“
“This is awesome, their suya was top notch , I requested for not too much spicy one and I got exactly what I wanted, that I even ordered for extra. Their staff were amazing. This is the best suya I have eaten since I arrive United States. I give them 10/10“
“Very clean establishment with friendly service. They start you off with complimentary sauce and plantain chips that were so flavorful! Now onto the food- I've always wanted to try pounded yam with stew and this place did not disappoint. They let you do half and half for the stew so I had the seafood okra and egusi with beef. Both stews were full of flavor, and something about the okra texture and the pounded yam mixed really well together! If you've been wanting to try this particular dish, this place is a good place to go! Also really enjoyed the shrimp from the suya meat platter we got!“
“The thick and well-seasoned broth of the peanut butter soup SENT ME. The assorted meats were tender, adding to a satisfying and flavorful experience. The healthy portion of food offered value for the meal, ensuring a filling and overall great experience. The staff added to the positive experience creating a welcoming atmosphere.I can’t wait to go back! ?“
“My food was Amazing!! The Amala so soft and delicious. The plantains so!!!! Good!!! The goat meat… everything was good. It was worth every penny and more.. I just relocated to Texas and had a hard time finding good tasting African food. I have just found my spot. Good job to the chef?? I found out I’m Igbo, but was married to a Yoruba man? I also learned to cook the foods.“
“It was my first time coming here and I found out about this place through an app. When I walked in, I was greeted by a kind gentleman whose name I unfortunately forgot to ask for. Not only was he kind and welcoming, but he was beyond generous with the portion. My order was to go and I just ate it when I got home and the food was so warm and full of flavor and filling, I loved it!! I’m surprised there wasn’t a line through the door. This place seems relatively new but I wish the owners the best of luck and I hope to return soon to try more items. Thank you so much!!!!“
“I want to applaud this restaurant for their inclusive menu. By offering vegan and non vegan options patrons don’t have to take turns over health and togetherness. We all dined together vegans and non vegans. There are a plethora of choices and each was better than the other, making choosing a chore. The meals were seasoned to perfection. We dey chop ooo. The service was great, the owners were friendly, and professional. Talk about patient, they made us feel at home. Our food was made fresh and in a timely manner. Yes!!! I highly recommend this hidden gem,“

“Best Ethiopian food in Houston. The atmosphere is relaxed, and you have the option of sitting in the lounge or the main dining room. Food is fresh and delicious. So many options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. My favorite is the Doro Wat. My family loves the red lentils. The traditional coffee ceremony is a special treat. Eat here. You won't be sorry.“
“I had the longest day at work and have been wanting to try Nigerian food for the longest time. When my husband called and said he was keeping our son (19 months) through dinner time I knew I had to capitalize on this opportunity to eat hot food in peace . The lady at checkout was so helpful and kind when this very white girl came through the door to try new food for the first time, haha. The Beef Suya is 10/10. I will definitely eat here again.“
“WHY DIDN'T I TRY THIS FOOD SOONER???!!I don't think you need my opinion since you can already see a lot of great reviewsInside POST HTX food court ChōpNBlok is bringing all the flavor of west Africa to our palates. It's my first time in this place so I went for the popular Golden Bowl!! That curry made me start dancing to afrobeats .It was a BIG bowl with a spicy yellow curry, grilled chicken (I don't know what they added but it tasted amazing) , jollof rice, beans, and other delicious add ons that mixed together became an explosion of flavors.I need to come back and try everything else, definitely will become one of my go-to favorites.I just wish they open another location I don't really like the food court vibe but other than that everything in this place is amazing! And let's not forget how stylish the deco is !!******GOLDEN BOWL = TEARS OF DELIGHT******“
