“Great food and good service. Nice ambiance as there are two big patios and tables are spread out so your not sitting to close to others. They do sell hookah but the smoke wasn't overwhelming like some other establishments and plus the patio is wide and open. No alcoholic drinks but some very tasty mocktails. I subtracted one star due to the valet being so unorganized.“
“As A TRANS person I was never misgendered at KASRA today . The server I believe is of Turkish background and addressed me as Madam not sir or monsieur . Which happens frequently even if I am in very Feminine attire. And always it’s American born millennials. It’s people from foreign countries who have a thing or two that American Born Hospitality workers need to take note of.. I am not someone that demands to be addressed in my correct Gender. I don’t let it bother me. However your tip does depend upon more than you refilling my tea glass . KASRA has impressed me with their Food more than once already. Todays visit we ordered Lamb and the vegetarian sampler with #’s 1,2,3 The Lamb shank is a fall off the Bone tender succulent piece of meat . The flavor is not overwhelming but in the right proportion. My friend added salt to her rice but I did not. The rice was perfect for me. I saw a review of another place that was critical of that places rice because it wasn’t salty enough. And while eating at Bludorn the table next to me was complaining about the rice being unsalted. Note:Don’t believe half the reviews you read on google . Some people have bad taste and do not know what good food is . But I do … if I say GO! You need to Go! I did 4 FOUR reviews on restaurants in Houston that are James Beard Finalists BEFORE THEY MADE THE LIST !. I broke my Fast of Five (5) Days at KASRA on Sunday , 17th of March . This was a time for inner reflection . I Am 90 days Sober now . . This just was a pure coincidence my fast took place the same time as Ramadan. . First off the starting line ?Thank you for your warm hospitality your food could have been terrible and I would still give 5 stars . I had such an incredible experience, everything was perfect. And the place is beautiful with other happy people. I’m hoping that reading this you will go and spend time here and money. This restaurant should be supported because of the great food and hospitality. The staff just aren’t order takers they are Oder coaches I have a personal life coach that I consult with and now I can count on the staff here to help out with my decisions on food items I have no idea about.“
“It was a lovely experience. We got to test the meats while unsure what to opt for. The sauce was a little spicy but as it is not to be ranked for. I'm just weak nature. The staff was friendly and kind and didn't come check on me with my mouth full which I appreciate immensely.“
“Ordered the mixed (beef and chicken) sandwich it was very good. The fries portion is very big, meal came with a lot of sauce at no extra cost. Falafel was good. The star of the show though was definitely the BAKLAVA! Restaurant was also clean service was fast and staff was polite.“
“I was looking for a good shawarma wrap and someone told me about a cafe on Dairy Ashford but this place had better reviews and was closer, so we tried them out. The 3 meat mixed grill plate was delicious and well cooked at medium. The chicken steak mixed shawarma wrap was pretty good. The meat was a little dry, but I mixed the hot sauce with the garlic sauce and it was tastier. My husband ordered the stuffed grape leaves, but I thought they were mushy. We also got the Mediterranean fries which were mid. They were freezer fries with a lot of raw garlic and lemon tossed on them--very soggy but not bad. Just disappointing. The hummus was mid as well. Not bad--just average. My husband couldn't resist getting 2 slices of cheesecake: one with fruit and without. They were your standard restaurant ones. The owner was very nice and threw in extra pilaf and pita; this place has potential and is worth trying. I just want more from them given the competition. Honestly it's a 3.5 because of the hummus.“
“Our family of ten folks thoroughly enjoyed the food! We were recommended to try the tasting menu - and it was a hit! We got to sample so many of the delicious appetizers and entrees and we all were stuffed. Highly recommend the food and service - we were treated like family.“
“Everything is delicious, it is a very good option for all those who want to maintain the diet without sacrificing flavor, the employees are very friendly and respectful, the atmosphere is very pleasant and warm, ideal for going alone or with a group. You will love it.“
“Recently got invited to b' day dinner there and gosh the food was good. Perhaps I was hungry but I felt the portions (rice) was small, but the lamb with combo basmatti rice with grilled tomatoes was heavenly ?. They substituted the original onions with carrots, which were grilled, and it paired so well!!“

“Friendly attentive staff, delicious food, and incredible atmosphere. We ordered the Sarma which was hearty and delicious beef and rice cooked in a delicate tomato sauce. Don’t leave without ordering the beef, cheese, or spinach Burek. We will definitely be returning soon!“
“There is no other place that brings Israeli food to Houston like this!!! First of all it is clean which is very important to me that this is homemade food, secondly you can see that the owner of the place does everything with love and from the heart and this is also reflected in the taste of the food so thank you for delicious food and the affordable price.I will definitely come back again!“
“Our 7-mile trek through Terry Hershey Park left us famished, craving a brunch that could conquer any post-hike emptiness. Thankfully, Cafe Benedicte on Memorial Drive swooped in like a brunchtime hero. The aroma of deliciousness hit us as soon as we stepped inside. We dove straight into their menu, and let me tell you, Cafe Benedicte did not disappoint. Their Meat Lovers Skillet was a symphony of flavors, overflowing with perfectly seasoned meats. My friend who ordered the braised lamb shank couldn't stop raving about its melt-in-your-mouth tenderness after craving for it in the past 3 weeks! And the grilled lamb chops? Very thankful a friend let us try his chops order. Let's just say not a single morsel remained on the plate. But the true stars of the show were the staff. Attentive, friendly, and always helpful, they made us feel like brunch royalty. By the time we left, our appetites were sated, our spirits high, and we were already planning our next visit. Cafe Benedicte gets a ten out of ten from our happy (and full) hiking crew. I highly recommend it to anyone searching for a phenomenal brunch experience.“
“Finally was able to try Big Bite and so glad I did. I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and a gyro. Both were very good with lots of meat and the classic flavors you are looking for. Meat was tender, juicy and not over salted. Sauces were all great and the chili sauce had a nice little kick.Luckily, the owner showed up while I was there because he told me that the ‘over rice’ things are what they are know for. He hooked me up with a sample that blew me away with that flavor packed rice. That is the way to go. Excellent!! You don’t have to be out at the bars to stop by and grab some grub. So make a stop!“
“I was driving by and decided to try it for dinner. The food was excellent. Service was great. They were very accommodating to my friends need for a low sodium meal.I had the Adana Kabab the flavor was amazing. Give it a try, you will not be “
“The Ramadan iftar at Ayintap Mediterranean Grill was absolutely splendid! The food was exquisite, and the ambiance was incredibly serene. The staff were courteous and attentive, making our evening truly enjoyable. Bulent Chef went above and beyond by personally preparing and serving me the spicy kebab from the menu in a mild, non-spicy version. It was a thoughtful gesture that made my dining experience at Ayintap Mediterranean Grill truly exceptional. I appreciated the extra attention to my preferences. Had a wonderful time with my wife. Can't wait to return for more culinary delights!“
“Today we had a group meeting lunch, I chose Kasra Persian Grill for its wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Thanks to Mehrdad who helped us having an unforgettable moments and my special thanks to Maria who took care of our orders. She patiently gave us a great service. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for great and high quality food.“
“Excellent beef suya sandwich and sweet potatoes fries, but pricy. Menu prices are not updated so look in the website for current prices. The difference is about $10. Gratuity of 20% is included even if you are only 1 person. I spent $39 for an excellent hamburger with sweet potatoes fries and 1 beer. ?, but only 1 person.“
“Laid back atmosphere but classy. The staff, especially Abe the manager, were so friendly and accommodating, patiently explained menu items we weren't familiar with. The food was AMAZING! Of all the places we ate on this trip this was by far my favorite. Great food, great people and all.aroims a great restaurant.“

“This restaurant is amazing. I really enjoyed my food. I ordered the half grain and half greens bowl with braised lamb and falafel. The breeze lamb was juicy and delicious and the falafel was awesome. The cucumber mint lemonade is to die for. This place based on food would be a 10 out of 10, but because the service was not great I had to takeoff a star. I would recommend knowing what you want before you come here because the staff was a little impatient with me asking a couple of questions (I have allergies so I have to ask).“
“This food is to die for. It was our first time and the staff was extremely friendly helping us navigate the ordering process. Everything we ordered was perfect and the pita was the best we've ever had. I enjoyed crafting each bite individually with different sides and proteins; the flavor combinations seemed endless! I don't live in Houston, so unfortunately I'll have to dream about this food until we get a chance to come back.“
“We went for iftaar and everything in the buffet was so fresh and so authentic! It was really good! The customer service was top notch as well! The manager and head chef served up even though it was a buffet they kept bringing up drinks and soup! I definitely recommend trying it out!“
“The place was nice, and the waiters were great!! The food was amazing. I would recommend the tasting menu but go there hungry because it is a lot of food. However, we did not know the place became like a nightclub after 10. We did leave earlier because it was too much. So, if you are not looking for that scene, I would get there earlier.“
“Excellent experience! Service was stellar our server was friendly and sparked great conversation. The food was very flavorful and clearly made with high quality ingredients. Their menu was diverse and had new dishes that I’d never seen before. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing. The mint lemonade smoothie is a must!! They had vegan kibbeh and vegan baklava that was delicious! I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Sawa.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegan options! Including vegan kibbeh and baklava!“
“Chicken Charmoula bowl. The food here is good, the chicken is tender and the food tastes very fresh. However, the protein portion is pretty small. Not the same case for the sides or rice, but the protein portion is quite small, which is why I gave 4 stars. If the protein portion increases, this would be my go to lunch spot!“
“This is a laid back family style place that is so delicious. There are some food items that are a little different than the Mediterranean food we are all seen. It’s fairly priced and all the recipes are flavorful fresh and fun to try. Love this place. And pretty day on the patio. This is a great place to be!“
“WOW! We came here after a bike ride at the park and the salad bar side of the buffet blew me away. The greens are so fresh and nothing was dry, not to mention the flavors are incredible! Also loved the tabouli and spicy hummus. The gyro meat was delicious as well. This is a place where meat eaters and vegans can both leave happy, definitely recommend if you're in the area.“
“Best gyro I have had in the US. Thick meat right off grill. Wife said baba was best she has ever had. Falafel was great, Greek salad was surprisingly excellent. Spinach pie, pita, grape leaves, and fries were all very good. Highly recommend.“
“Wow. Ordered this on Uber eats cause I seen a reel on IG. And they were not exaggerating about how good this is!!!! So much flavor in each bite. Had the tacos, wraps and chicken wings over rice. My fav were the wings. Smoky and delicious!!!! I will definitely be getting this again.“
“We had recently gotten married at the wine cellar here, followed by the nine course menu with the Premium wine pairing. We were beyond pleased with every aspect of the evening. The food was phenomenal. The wine was wonderful, and so perfectly paired. And to top it off, the service was outstanding. Also, watch out! The bar makes such tasty drinks! You would think you wouldn’t drink more in addition to a 9 course wine paring…but the cocktails were so fabulous we just kept drinking up!We couldn’t be more grateful to Mae, who helped us coordinate the evening weeks before. She is very lovely and helpful. And the night wouldn’t be what it was without Cody… He led us through the cocktail room down to the wine cellar, and then to the private room for the remainder of our evening. He has amazing personality, I felt like he was part of our party!Thank you so much for making our evening perfect!“

“I have a nutrition certification and this place passes all of my tests for good quality food. I got decaf coffee and the eggless pancakes. Great! You must try it. They make all of their food from scratch and make a lot of homemade sauces. So worth going!“
“A group of 8 of us came and glad we picked this place to have lunch.Kids preferred double rice and I got the gyro beef. Staff is friendly and accommodating as we were trying to figure out if the kids wanted vegetables or toppings (parent life).Very generous with the white sauce and actually asked if we wanted more while we dined, which was very sweet of her.Remember to download the app and scan your account at checkout. We forgot and the app doesn’t allow for receipt scans.Clean store, quick service, and the order ahead feature someone used seemed pretty quick.Only suggestion would be to find a way to keep the rice and meat a bit hotter (temperature).“
“This restaurant is phenomenal. I never tasted Gyro this good. All the food I have tried here is amazing. My favorite is the Beef Gyro, as it is so flavorful and tender. This business has been here for 37 years and I definitely see why. Thank you Aboss, for your incredible food, the pleasant experience, and sharing your knowledge with me. This restaurant is simple and quaint. Thank you.“
“Excellent food service starting from the best management: always nice, organized and friendly. The best Mediterranean cuisine I’ve ever had starting from the fresh pita bread, falafel, sandwiches to go always the best! I think it’s the best place to come to eat and try everything by choice of your taste.“
“Was here last Friday, lunchtime. The food is good, the service is ok. Location if you work in the area is practical. Ordered 1 protein and 2 half sides, chicken kabob, tabuli and ganush. Will be back a second time and try something different“
“Been going here for many years now. Can't get enough of those gyro platters and Shewarma. Mmmmmmmmmmm! Everything on the menu is good! Took my sister here for the first time ever yesterday, and she absolutely loved it. She said she found it very authentic ?“
“Absolutely delicious food! Best lamb gyro I've ever had, the quality and quantity is mesmerizing. They recently moved to their new location and took out the Wael's burger from the menu which was my boyfriend's and friend's favorite, very sad about that, that would be the only negative thing to say, I hope they bring it back soon.Otherwise absolutely amazing!“
“This is Mediterranean style fare with great steaks. It is a laidback pace and the food is seasoned but not Texas hot.Our waiter was great his assistants were constantly refillng our water and busing amd cleaning the table.Get the cutting board to share your entrees and enjoy the flaming bone marrow!“
“Me and my family went there after a day at the Rodeo. I ordered the Island Greek Salad, which was delicious! I think my husband ordered a burger, and my mom, I think the Caesar Salad with Cod. At first, they forgot to add the cod to my mom's salad, and she had to wait a while for them to bring it out, but other than that, it was pretty good! It looked like a good place to get healthy food. I'd probably go there again if I'm in the area.“
“It matters to me, how employees are treated by their management. Where I spend my money matters especially now. An employee was serving a client ahead of me in a To-go platter. As he serves the gentleman. A man, about 5’10, black curly hair, in a fitted well ironed stripped long sleeve button up with black slacks came around to “help” as I assumed. But instead he grabs the platter out of the employees hand as he towers over him, looks him up and down, SCOFFS, and his facial expression didn’t match the situation, it was discuss and distain. Mind you, it was about tabouli being put in a place in the To-Go box. This happened in front of me, and in front of another client. He says nothing to the employee but an eye roll. And proceeds to serve the other client. Why does it matter? Why do I care? I have worked in the food industry my whole life, and just like that man treated the employee I too was treated in such ways. If you don’t understand, I’m sorry you have lived a life of convenience and haven’t had to experience being mistreated. The food is excellent the, the place is clean. The only thing that is lacking, is their humanity. Do better. Be kinder.“
“Food was good. I got a quesadilla & my husband got a lamb gyro. Portion sizes were generous & the food was very fresh. The white sauce is absolutely delicious.Parking: Very popular place at lunch might be a little tricky to get a parking spot“
“Adored this Arabic cafe! Exceptional food and service. They offer a delightful mix of Turkish, Greek, and Arabic cuisine. The lady serving us is both professional and kind, making the experience attentive and easy to enjoy. The outdoor ambiance is cozy, perfect for late-night gatherings with friends and family. Plus the prices are exceptionaly fair. Highly recommended.“
“Affordable authentic Turkish cuisine. Convenient location near TMC.Lentil soup a must, we tried home delivery and selected various kabob meals and sandwiches.Vegetable, cheese Turkish Burecks good to try as appetizers.Lamb, beef & chicken selections are fresh with good seasonings.?“
“EXCELLENT food and service!! I had cataract bread that came out after I took this pic, but it was delicious and full of the spice!! So tasty! BUT … I do like the Zatar bread with a lil more crunch. Everything was delicious though!! The pita chips (very flavorful) too!! AND it was happy hour so the bill came to $10 off with tip included!!“
“Lots of options for lunch: variety of salad options, dips with the thick bread, lots of different meats in rice and as sides, and a few different sweet options. Can't go wrong with the baklava and square looking plain cane/bread thing. I didn't care for the orange looking dessert. Babaganoush and variety of hummus and tabouli was great. The fried cauliflower was really good too with the slices of meat I assume is beef. I had some chicken/ drumsticks in the rice mix and one in a tomato broth that was good and juicy. Love dark meat not the dry chicken breasts. Only dry meat with the skewer type/ kabob. It was ok. There's no lamb shank. At least not for their lunch buffet. The drink option had a pink drink I think is a Rose drink of sort.“
“Great food, great service, wines are reasonably priced. There is a $12 corkage fee if you bring your own. Only minor annoyance, and it's something they have no control over, is if you're seating outside there is a very active freight railroad track right next to the building. Some might be annoyed.“
“Talk about an amazing experience! Late night reservation for two. Such great service from hostess to a very clean bathroom . Food was delicious , hot and presentable. I wasn’t expecting this level of elegance connected to the Galleria Mall. .“
“Everything is delicious and the service is great. I'm gluten free and it's very easy to find something here.Dietary restrictions: Everything on the menu is clearly labeled, which makes it easy to see what's vegan or gluten free.“
“Dimitri was our server tonight and he was spectacularly good. There are very few places at all with service as good as what Athena's displayed. I rarely write reviews, but Dimitri was in particular so notable I had to.Athena's creates a food experience that exemplifies the word family. Great home style food, fresh and hearty, with a delectably satisfying taste; atmosphere like a reunion or a wedding; all with personal and perfectly attentive service. Somewhere between, and including, a place you could take a first date or the neighborhood staple spot - Athena's is a top tier dining experience in every aspect.“
