The only place for Tex-Mex on the planet. Just wondering... why substitute green beans for green peppers in the rice? "They say it's the same it's not the same."
One of the best Mexican places in Houston, and that's saying a lot. When you come to Chavez look to what Ninfa's and Molina's don't do. The chef here works magic with chicken; the Spanish rice has no equal (really!); the table salsa is a favorite among actual Tejanos; and the cream-cheese-infused flan will blow your mind. Extraordinarily good for the money.
