When I'm traveling I don't do chain restaurants, I look for something specific to the area, locale. I can eat a Pizza Hut at home, I want to see how the locals eat and when near the coast I do seafood, being from K.C. I have steaks and BBQ all the time. This place was close to the hotel, and looked interesting. Mexican/Seafood, unique combo and it was. Chilo's special seafood platter....missing the "special". Portions were small for a$20+ plate. Fish didn't have any flavor and the shrimp fried rice was cold and mushy. Grilled shrimp was ok. French fries were the best part of the plate. I'll be back to give them another chance...but with a different plate next time. Service was great. Waitresses were very attentive. Atmosphere was nice and calm for a late lunch. Until next time...
