“I’ve been to Taste of Mulan a few times and each time the food and the service exceeds my expectations. The people here are very friendly and their dim sum is better than the dim sum I’ve tried in China town. They have many options of dumplings which are available all day. I highly recommend this place!“
“I'm not sure of the weekends are the busiest but on a Sunday, it was. I got here 20 minutes after their opening time of 10:30am. The parking spaces, before valet, were all filled up. Luckily, I was seated right away once I got in the restaurant. There were plenty of tables but it was getting taken every almost every minute. The staffs were very friendly and really helpful! I wanted a specific food item and they went to get it for me. I didn't have to wait for the carts to come around.I don't think I had one bad dish from what I tried: pretty good food quality and consistency. The siumai was juicy, har gow wrapper was transparent and bouncy, rice noodle was soft and chewy, pork belly skin was crispy and meat with fat ratio was balanced. The cold marinated chicken was not bad, either.Great place for big groups of people and I actually saw someone with their dog inside so I'm guessing you can bring pets?Parking: There is parking spaces and they do have complimentary valet as well. If all the parking spaces are taken, valet is the only other option.“
“Awesome dim sum! Everything in g we ordered tasted delicious - rice noodle roll, shumai, minced beef soup, har gow, beef rice noodle, staffed eggplant. Great flavor and texture!Place is so popular that you should prepare to wait up to an hour during prime time (weekend lunch)“
“It is a decent place for traditional Chinese/Cantonese Dim Sum. They are inside. You need to walk into the tunnel. They have a lot of options for Dim Sum. I tried some of them and most of them were good. I liked their Red Chicken Feet, Pork Blood, Steam Pork Spare Ribs, Steamed Beef Tripe Mix, and Stir Fried Beef Flat Rice Noodle.“
“Food quality is superb, service a bit slow only because of time I was there, the staff was having their meal so other servers were picking up the slack, got there after 2 pm which is late but not as busy, because they usually stop serving Dim Sum after 3pm, excellent food but some items a bit differently made that other establishments.“
“Their family style dishes were nut allergy friendly!A very family style restaurant, I went with a group of 11 people for a holiday dinner. They have a curated "prix fixe" menu for the holidays that consists of a 9 course meal. There are some private tables in the back that fit around 10-12 people. All of the food was pretty good. I would say the highlights are the Peking Duck, the Lobster, and the Yee Mein w/ Abalone. We didn't get any white rice or water on the table, but I think someone could have asked. The tea with the meal was very smooth and flavorful as well.Overall a lovely place for their family style meal if you can get the private room.“
“Whoa! It's been years since I've been to 99 Ranch, and was pleasantly surprised to see an outpost of San Dong here. San Dong in Chinatown has always been an oldie but goodie for me - still remember eating there back in the 90s! Even though the original owners have sold the business, the new owners have carried on their classic dishes, and have done good job of retaining what has made the original so popular. Great to see this expansion - has my favorites like their fried pork chive dumplings, as well as their dumplings boiled inside beef broth. After Xiong's Cafe has closed, I still find myself getting San Dong's beef noodle soup to satisfy my fix. This location is located in the food court, and they take credit card. Definitely will be stopping by again whenever I'm doing grocery shopping in the area!“

It's absolutely amazing and totally worth a visit, plus the prices are really reasonable. So, next time you're in Houston, make sure you swing by and give it a try. I promise you won't be let down!“
“The pan fried dumplings were huge. The shumai were very delicious ?, so tender. The beef fried rice was perfect, I couldn't stop eating it. All portions were large, especially the beef noodle soup ?. All of the food was tasty and had good size portions meant for sharing. The service was prompt and good.“
