“Rakken ramen is one of my go-tos for ramen as they're healthy and fast. Not your typical ramen as they use a vegetable broth, which is equally as delicious as a regular pork broth! Our server, Yaya, was attentive and provided great service today! Thank you!“
“This place is a gem! It is small yet super homey. Reminds me of small homey Japanese restaurants/bars we used to go to growing up in Taiwan. Service is great and the people chat with their customers about random stuff like a friend would. I see them doing that we several customers each time I'm here and thought that is the neatest thing a restaurant could offer in this time in age. Will keep coming here!“
“The shrimp and pork eggroll appetizer was fantastic. The perfect crunch and flavors made it very special. B1 and P2 soups are unforgettable. The pho broth is truly one of the best phos I've ever had. The garlic shrimp noodle is also very tasty. The noodles are perfectly cooked and flavored. My 4 year old loved it. My kids also enjoyed the fried catfish too. We will come back. What a gem of a restaurant!“
“My family and I always come here, the owners always welcome us and give us a great service. Overall the food is always fresh, they have a variety of veggies and meats, their sauces are amazing. This is a hidden gem for those that love hot-pot AYCE, you will not get disappointed.Kid-friendliness: They have booster seats and high chairs for kids & babies, they also offer a lower price than the one they have if your kid is doing his/her own hot-pot“
“This place is awesome!!! The place was clean and staffs are kind. Pho was flavorful and delicious. There were a lot of meats in the pho. Their appetizers were great. Particularly, their spring roll was legit! I went Vietnam and ate spring-roll at there. It was great, too. However, this spring-roll was better than the real Vietnam's spring-roll. I will definitely come here again. ?“
“This was on my to-try list and it did not disappoint. Came in with some friends during lunch on a Tuesday and it was slow and quiet. The restaurant is spacious and bright inside. The waitstaff mainly speaks Chinese, but there are tablets you can order from on the tables. I got the beef brisket tomato noodle soup which was really good. The brisket was soft and super flavorful and the soup was tomato-y but did not taste like V8. I added in some of the chili oil and sambal that is provided at the tables and they enhanced the flavor of the soup even more. The bowl is also super large with lots of noodles and vegetables inside, so it was super filling (might even be shareable if you have a small appetite). I tried some of my friend's fish (same soup) and it was super tender and incredibly flavorful--I liked it more than the beef that I had gotten. We also got the brown sugar rice cake which was okay. It was crispy on the outside, but not that chewy. And there was a brown sugar filling on the inside which was super liquid-y and came out hot. The filling did taste a tad medicinal which I did not dislike, but did not like either. Overall, a great experience, will be returning!“
“Not all noodle shops are the same. This is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant where good food and friendly service are priority! The owners treat you like their own family and friends. The meals are fresh and the flavors are authentic but also unique. As visitors from out of town, we left happy, satisfied, and wanting to return again! Thank you to the owners. They’re doing a wonderful job!“
“After passing it by a few times, I stopped for lunch at Pranee's Thai at 8100 Hwy 6 N Suite C, Houston, TX 77095So glad I did. I had the Pra Kra-Pao (Thai Basil, chicken, green beans, bell pepper in a yummy sauce) served with a fried egg on top and a side of white rice. Absolutely delicious. The service was great. Prices are reasonable. Can't wait to go back and try something else.“
“I wasn’t sure what to think pulling into this sorta sketchy parking lot off of long point but boy am I glad to have stuck it out. Really fantastic food and service! I had a delicious bowl of chicken pho that came out fast and piping hot. Can’t wait to go back and try more!“
“The motif was a little too modern for my tastes. When eating traditional Vietnamese food, is it too much to ask that the atmosphere at least suggest the culture? The service was excellent and the food was decent, but I prefer culture over modern cuisine.“
“All their options are affordable! I tried their crab and pork soup dumplings, pork soup dumplings, pan fried Bao, and chicken pot sticker. I really enjoyed the chicken pot sticker and crab and soup dumpling. Definitely a nice place to eat at with your friends and family.“
“Stepping into Nguyen Kitchen, we were immediately struck by the freshness and flavor of every dish. The menu was a celebration of authentic Vietnamese cuisine, with each dish showcasing the perfect balance of spices and textures. Despite our attempts to capture the meal in photos, they simply don’t do justice to the vibrant flavors and colors we experienced. The service was remarkably quick and friendly, adding to the overall exceptional dining experience. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and service are outstanding, making this restaurant a true gem.For anyone looking for genuine Vietnamese flavors and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be. Our visit was memorable, and I can tell you this is definitely the best Viet restaurant in Houston.“
“The pan fried dumplings were huge. The shumai were very delicious ?, so tender. The beef fried rice was perfect, I couldn't stop eating it. All portions were large, especially the beef noodle soup ?. All of the food was tasty and had good size portions meant for sharing. The service was prompt and good.“
“I moved to Katy 4 years ago, and had no idea this place existed. The lady said that they have been around for 15 years. The service is fast, friendly, efficient, helpful, and accommodating. The place was clean and cozy, but spacious enough to have enough privacy. The food was great. I had the phở tái nạm gầu (rare thinly sliced beef that cooks in the broth, lean brisket, and fatty brisket). My son had the phở chính (well done thinly sliced beef). My daughter had the cơm bò lúc lắc (shaken beef rice plate). The phở broth was aromatic and super clear. This is very hard to cook as it takes lots of timing and lots of attention if done right. If done incorrectly, it tastes bland. They nailed it 100%. The meat is extremely thin cut, which is the way I prefer my pho protein. The portions were huge. At first I thought that they didn't give me enough protein. 2/3 of the way through my bowl, I realized that I had just the right amount of meat. My son is a super picky eater when it comes to pho. He only eats at 1 spot on Bellaire which is a 30 minute drive away. He cleaned out his bowl and also mentioned that he would be returning in the future. My duaghter enjoyed her rice plate as well. She's not as picky, but she knows what she likes. She gave it 2 thumbs up. The shaken beef had that authentic smokey flavor which leads me to believe that it was cooked using a wok and not a skillet. I'm so happy we found this place.Parking: 5-6 reserved spots for Tan An directly in front of the restaurant. Plenty of parking throughout the spacious parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Lots of space. The staff took their time a d were patient as my daughter decided what she wanted to order.“
“I’m writing this review a little late. I went in In December with my sister and her friends and tried their broth noodles. We each loved our own choice of soup. I got the ‘kakuni’ it has a salty taste to it which I like when paired with the noodles. My sister got the ‘Niku niku’ this has a flavorful broth. It reminded me a lot of the Vietnamese pho. When I came back with my friends after January I got the ‘mentako cream’ (I think I spelled that wrong) with katsu. I liked the cold noodles, but the noodles weren’t very filling (I could have just been really hungry). The broths were more filling and are still my favorite.“
“Atmosphere is great , service was simple and fast , food was fresh and hot , it’s great for a short lunch or a night with friends. Totally recommend, what made it outstand was the price for the freshness and quality of food, it’s totally worth it for its price. They also offer deals and combos when dine in.“
“I can't believe I still haven't wrote a review for Pho Sapa yet. This place is amazing, every time I was there, it is satisfying. The restaurant is clean, staff is friendly, their english is not very good but trying very hard to help you with your questions about food knowledge. My favorite dish is the big beef bone, I think it is a side dish which is about $5, it came in a huge bowl full of big big beef bones. The bones are flavorful, has good amount of meat on it and easy to peel off. I can never finish it and always bring it back to my dog. And my dog loves it too. Their signature item was the dry pho with soup on the side, it came with the special sauce to mix with the dry noodle, side veggies to make the dish more fulfilling.Pho is always great, their soup is clear, definitely brewed a long time not so much MSG taste in it because I don't have to drink so much water afterwards.Price is fair, very good place to have a nice inexpensive lunch or light dinner. Might have to go there early since they do run out of soup.Highly recommended.“
“Ever since this place took over for new management, it is so much better. I ain’t here over a decade before and it was very bland. I got to meet the owner Johnny and he was super sweet and only that the food was delicious. You have to try the Pad Thai noodles and chicken egg rolls“
“This place is amazing! From the moment I walked in, my husband and I were greeted with such amazing hospitality. Our waiter Eric recommended some delicious dishes (fish dumplings & a few others I cant remember the name & cheesecake). He was amazing. The cheesecake was mouth watering, smooth, creamy, not too sweet and just over all delicious! I will definitely be coming back & recommending friends to try this place out.“
“The saying goes "if you want good Phở, you have to go to Chinatown." Well folks, I live 45 minutes away from Chinatown and I'm glad Pho Ben proved that expression wrong. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic Vietnamese food includes chả giò, gỏi cuốn, bánh mì, cơm dĩa, bún thịt nướng, mì, and phở with prices ranging from $5 - $12. The restaurant is located in the Heights with a modern feel and it's truly impressive that the prices are so reasonable.“
“I love this restaurant. I've been a customer since they established the location on Barker Cypress. The food taste is like no other Thai restaurant and the owners are awesome. I've tried other Thai restaurants but no other compares to Thai Curry. I will forever be a loyal customer.“
“New place for me to visit , pleasantly surprised by the location. Place looks hip, fun and family friendly. Decor was very original and pretty. The food is the tastiest I’ve had out here in a long time and the service was great definitely returning to try more ?Todays favesBlooming Flower teaHot and Spicy dumplings ?Dan Dan noodles ?“
“The pork and the beef dumpling tasted great. I also took out the frozen pearl meatballs, pork with vegetable buns, Siu-Mai and pan fried chive buns. The cashier/owner was very friendly and helpful.Parking: It may be difficult to find the parking the most close to the restaurant. You can still find the parking a bit far away from the restaurant.“
“Beef noodle soup was awesome, hand pulled noodles are super fresh. The restaurant was very nice and staff was super friendly. Tonkatsu was hot and crispy and bao was fresh and fluffy. Definitely recommend dining in at the restaurant, the food tastes 10x better fresh.“
“I enjoy coming to eat at MIAN. It's a comfy little spot and there's a variety of noodle dishes that I like to try. You can order by QR code by bringing up the menu. I recommend the beef noodles! I've been coming here for years and I plan to keep doing so.“
“Some of the best pad Thai I’ve had! I got it Thai spicy and it did not disappoint, my mouth was watering ?. When I went back again I got it medium spicy and it was just as good. The crab Rangoon’s were so cute and not greasy. Thai tea was perfect. Service was really good too. I’m not sure why it wasn’t busy both times I went. They deserve to be packed. 10/10“
“They recently added one of my all time favorite dishes, Mi Xao Don Do Bien! It looks like they've also got a few new items on the menu but I wasn't able to try them today. I'll be coming back next time to try the Com Bo Lúc Lac!“
“I came around 9PM and when we walked in we were immediately sat down and our waitress, Sophia was really kind and understanding about everything I enjoyed her service! I had the spicy garnet ramen and I liked how the broth tasted, the takoyaki was REALLY good but if you don’t like fish/sushi I wouldn’t recommend it. I also really liked the music they were playing. (Beabadoobee, jungkook, ichiko aoba etc.) Overall the experience was great and I would come again.Dietary restrictions: My brother asked about anything that didn’t have shrimp and our waitress helped him out!“
“Went to eat Vietnamese vermicelli, called Bun Bo Hue (Noodle House). When I first walked in, I saw the balloons. It was very Asian oriented. I loved it. Although you have to order at first, but when you sit down, and when the order comes out, it's hot and delicious. The price is reasonable for the drinks and also the food can't go wrong with that. I suggest anyone that wants to eat come out abd give it a try.“
“This is honestly one of my top ramen places that I've tried in Houston. I had heard that the ramen here is very authentic, so I had to try it out for myself. I came here on a week night for dinner, and unfortunately, they were a bit understaffed. There appeared to be only one server for all of the tables, so it did take a while for him to take our order. I'm writing this review a few months later from when I tried this restaurant, so I hope that has changed now. He was very friendly though. I tried the tonkotsu gachi ramen. It was VERY delicious and flavorful. It didn't feel overly heavy like some other ramen places that I've tried. I can say that this does taste pretty authentic. I like the location of this place too because I live around here, and it's easy access for people around the medical center to go to. I hope this place stays here for a while! I would absolutely come back.“
“This quaint restaurant just off Bellaire Boulevard was absolutely delicious and the service was helpful and kind. I had the #1 roast beef noodle bowl and our table shared the pork and cabbage pan fried dumplings. The food was excellent, and we highly recommend you visit soon!“
“Nice and friendly staff. Cheap prices. The stir fried beef rice noodles were really good, highly recommended. The beef was not as processed as you find in other places (AKA velvety beef, soaked in baking soda), it is a bit rougher texture like thin slices of steak. The rice noodles were soft yet has a slight bouncy chewy texture to them.A bit more "wok hei" plus some onions would have been perfect.“
“I’ve been coming here for a little over a year, and I’ve got to say it’s definitely a must go-to restaurant. The service, the food, the atmosphere is spectacular and this place deserves more recognition. I love the staff, especially Lillian <3 she’s awesome and always makes sure every one of her tables are taken care of no matter how busy she is. I would recommend this place to anyone!“
“The food is good. Waiting time is about 10 minutes for 3 dishes. It's acceptable. I don't like the table and chairs there. They're so close to each other. The space shares the common ground of the Hong Kong market. It prevents your privacy. The food is contained in boxes except the soups. I think I will not come back unless I need convenience when I am shopping in the Hong Kong market. The price is a little bit high in comparison with the service I received, but it's acceptable. You should come and try once.“
“Food is delicious. Spring roll was fresh and properly rolled. Vermicelli bowl and pho was great. I just hated the small flies flying around and trying to land on our food. Bunch of flies at the condiment station, mostly hoison sauce. As a important note, when coming into the plaza, there is one steep entrance that scraped our car twice when coming in the left side. The other entrance is not as steep but still scratched the underside of our car“
“Was looking for some noodle soup after 10pm and yelped into this place . It was old Pho Bingh By Night location. The combination pho, seafood egg noodle soup and special dry egg noodle are all very good. Service was great too . We will definitely return .“
“I tried this new place. The banh mi beef stew was delicious. The seasoning and flavor was all there. I'll have to try other things. The portion was smaller compared to most places and the bread was not the freshest (you can tell from the texture when it cools). That aside I still recommend this place based on the flavor of what I ordered.“
“OMG, THANK YOU #PHOHOUSTON for this delicious and fresh Vietnamese meal. Everything was so fresh &; flavorful. Portions perfect and worth every penny. Even my tomatoes ? on my salad ? were amazing. ? You are now my go-to restaurant on UBEREats when I'm stuck in Houston, around IAH & can't commute home. Again I say ,THANK YOU!!! Real food and healthy ingredients and spices for the WIN!!! Next time I'll get some Pho Ga ?.“
“When I came in the server, Hudson, came right to me and got me seated right away with little to no wait. Hudson’s attention to detail was remarkable, and he had a genuine passion for ensuring we had a fantastic dining experience. The food was spectacular in every aspect!“
“Tried the Italian Hoagie my first time here and it was so delicious. Even the potato salad was great. To top it off I really enjoyed their oatmeal cookie. Definitely be back to try other stuff on the menu as the dishes going out to other tables look scrumptious.“
“We love this place! It's family owned and the prices are very fair with the food being very good portion sized! The indoor seating is ample, but not ideal for large parties. We had a party of 8 last time and there's no round tables like most bigger Chinese restaurants so with the food places linearly on the table, it's hard to get the food from one end when you're sitting on the opposite end. The staff isn't overly friendly but that's ok. I'm used to that at Asian establishments in Bellaire but it isn't the worst I've experienced. They have a 10% off for take out orders on Yelp but the last time I tried it, the staff never heard of it and wouldn't apply it even when I showed them the discount on the Yelp app.“
“Hidden gems at the corner and need to be shout out guys!!I have tried multiple times just to explore everything on their menu lol according to the owner, this is a big franchise in Korea and California and they're very first location in Texas.Their signature is Galbi Jim (spicy braised beef rib) and Bossam (premium boiled pork belly wraps), dumplings, noodles and other hot pots are so good.In the beginning, i thought it's expensive since the price on the menu, so I just stopped by to try cold noodle and the original Yukdaejang noodle but i ended up was surprised by the bowl is biggg and i saw the hotpot of another table is huge! So..yeah i came back with my friends and tried several things again and again lolSmall menu, consistent tastes, big portion, and great service. What else are you looking for right? LolP/s: don't forget to get coffee candies when they give you a check“
“I love Guilin noodles! That's the first section of their menu. Get the "family" combo (C9) to try all the meats. It's a sampler platter for an individual. The second section of their menu, losifen noodles, is snail broth noodles, apparently very popular in China now (alternative spelling is luo si fen). I'm intrigued enough I may return to try that. Is it counter service or half service? We came when there were only two other tables and the gentleman staffing the restaurant came and took our order at the table, but we got up to get hot sauces, pickles and a water pitcher. Other reviews say it's counter service. Perhaps it depends on how busy they are. Prepare to get some things yourself.“
“(don’t mind me digging in before i took a picture) the actual plates are so cute; they spent money on cartoony cat bowls and the actual food was amazing. i don’t eat much normally but i finished all of my food in one sitting that’s how good it was!! i got the curry chicken ramen it was so filling and had lots of flavor and extras in bowl; it wasn’t plain at all. this place is completely underrated; i went in on a saturday afternoon and i was the only person there!! more people should be eating here. the service was obviously amazing there was only one person working but he made sure i was attended to“
“I ate here on a work trip, while craving Sichuan food. The restaurant was almost closing for the night, so we called to make sure they would still be open when we arrived, then ordered over the phone, because the chef was about to finish. When we pulled up, to our surprise a table had been set with all the dishes and a big bowl of rice, and my colleague and I were brought to our table! I still think about how kind and generous this gesture was, months later. The dishes were reliable and tasty Sichuan standards, particularly the laziji/chicken with chilis. I grew up in China, and the food here hit the spot while passing through Houston. Thank you for the hospitality!“
“Authentic Vietnamese restaurant with a clean and cool interior decor. The waitress offered super fast service and the food was delicious. My lemon grass beef bun was grilled and flavorful. My dining partner had the spring rolls and traditional beef pho, both were so good! We had other friends who also joined us later and order the mignon beef, grilled chicken with shrimp rice plate, won ton noodle soup, and the stir fry noodles. None of the dishes disappoint. A huge selection of drinks including milk tea and juice. Since they are not a Chinese restaurant, I opt for the Vietnamese fresh lemon lime juice which was perfect for catching my vitamin Cs on a cold rainy day in Houston!“
“This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but holy hell!!! One you go inside you're treated like royalty and the Thai style seafood options are to die for. I recommend everyone who likes Asian seafood stop in with my friends here. You will not be disappointed...“
“I absolutely adore this spot. The pho is the best I’ve had. The warm broth has so many flavors and feels like a big bowl of comfort. Get it with the meatballs. I also love the shrimp spring rolls. They are always fresh and are a good size.“
“This is the best porridge I have ever eaten in the United States. I am from Shunde, Guangdong, and grew up eating porridge. The porridge here is made with real ingredients and no MSG. The braised meat is also delicious, and the pig intestines are very clean. I will recommend this restaurant every time I go to Houston! I think the braised pig's trotters are average, it's not that they taste bad, and the hair on pig's trotters here in the United States is usually not plucked lol“
“I can say a lot about this place. Went during lunch. Staff was very kind. The place was CLEAN. Beautiful decorations.Food.Food was so fresh & hot & the flavor was just perfect. Literally the only thing my coworker & I noticed was that although the style of the forks are beautiful (long gold) they made our hands hurt. So, don't hold the fork towards the end like you would with a regular fork & you'll probably be fine. This is a place I've been wanting to return to ever since.Parking: There's a lot of parking spots but it's in a shopping center / strip so there weren't a ton of open spots. I did get a spot nearby though.“
