HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I would like to thank their GM Devin. He made our experience memorable and special due to my friend's birthday. I was told he works at this location and also the Heights. Thank you, Devon for making my friend first time experience a fun one. We need people like him who are dedicated, respectful, caring to every guest who walks into these restaurants. He was also extremely professional. Thanks again, and hopefully you will get promoted doing what you do.
I cannot believe that since I've first started coming here about 15 years ago... that I have not taken the time to give this gem of a place a worthy review! Firstly, their cantaloupe juice is my fave! It's so good, I'll trek across town from West U for it! They may have very well just put a cantaloupe into a blender, but isn't that how things should be? Idk, maybe it's fake lol, but it sure tastes good! I love their menu items and the guys work hard back there to make it delicious!...read full review

I have been eating at El Rey for sooooo many years, I love this location next to HEB off Bunkerhill ! Allen definitely gives 5 star customer service! He is the first person I see when I arrive... always takes my order with a smile and kindness, this is definitely one of the best locations in Houston!!!! Food of course is always on point and super yummy of course!!
