“Been wanting to try Le Jardinier ever since they opened. They're sister restaurants in Miami and New York have both earned stars from the prestigious Michelin guide, and even if the guide doesn't come to Texas we were expecting a Michelin starred experience here. First things first, the restaurant is located in the museum which I thought was very cool. You can choose to valet or you can self park in the garage and they will validate your parking for you. My wife booked us a dinner reservation for my birthday, and the hostess greeted me right as we checked in. We were seated right away in the "lounge" area which is right next to the bar - perfect for two people. The decor and ambiance inside really fits it being in the museum - minimalist, modern and airy. Food and service were both fantastic. The chef was in town so they had a Spring season tasting menu which we unfortunately decided against since my expecting wife was worried it was too much food for her, so we just picked our own food: The garden salad was light and refreshing. They used a calamansi based dressing which was cool. The mushroom veloute was a complete flavor bomb - I can probably eat two more bowls of that. For mains I got the roasted lamb that was perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth, and my wife got the glazed pork belly that had crunchy skin, sweet and savory meat, and overall a ridiculously tasty dish. For dessert we really enjoyed the butterfly dessert - super beautiful and just the perfect few bites to end our meal. They also got me an extra complimentary dessert for my birthday which was nice! Our overall experience here was great. The place and food was definitely upscale, but the service was easygoing that it made it way more enjoyable than it already was. We will definitely be back for another special occasion.“
“I went last night with my mom and best friend to celebrate my moms birthday. When I say it was the best birthday dinner she's ever had, I am not lying. Our server (I wish I could remember his name, he was a sweetie!) was amazing, extremely attentive, and very kind. Rene (I believe is his name) the manager, was extremely thoughtful. He brought champagne as soon as we sat down and he also brought my mom a card at the end of the dinner. It was so thoughtful and amazing! The service was excellent, our cups were always full and our table was very clean at all times. The chickpea crepe, sourdough, and escargot were amazing! The ravioli, broccolini, and steak were so flavorful. We ate every bite. Phenomenal experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you all! My mom was so happy.“
“25th wedding anniversary dinner was incredible! Found this gem online, and it was beyond expectations! Ambiance was fresh and romantic, gentle buzz of others enhanced the ambiance. Service was informed, owner and wife created a family feel the immediately wanted a second visit, and so knowledgeable of all items (definitely include the cheese board). We both had the "special" ribeye and halibut (fish of the day), and both were incredible. Dessert was apple pie baked 3 hours this morning. Porchini mushroom soup (from the movie "the rundown") is not to be skipped. Bring your own wine and tecorking fee excluded on Wednesdays makes for an exceptional anniversary date. We absolutely loved everything about our meal, service, and celebration (including a surprise celebratory dessert, candle included). All the stars, all the vibes, all the“
“Emdy is one of the best waitresses! She had an answer to every question we asked. The cocktails are amazing and the patio is a vibe. I'm vegan, so nearly everything that is not marked as Keto can be modified to be vegan. I had 1 veggie taco and it was probably the best taco of my life. I also ordered the chicken masala pasta sub vegetables which was delicious. My boyfriend got a decaf coffee at the end of the night and it came with a cute coconut pastry!“
“We ran in here on a very, very rainy day and had one of the best brunches ever. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Because it was a slow morning, we ended up having a long chat with this place's charming founder about Brussels, where they're from. Quite a lovely experience!“
“Roasted boar with plum sauce, sauteed carrots and broccoli. I would have loved a little more plum sauce. It was so good. And of course to begin: escargot and French onion soup. Oh, and a very fair priced Cotes de Rhone wine. All things French on our 46th anniversary. I should have taken pictures, sorry. We were looking for something French and cuisine we don't prepare at home. BLC did not disappoint. The restaurant has been in business for over 30 years. My only suggestion is to update the interior just a little bit. Keep the Italian feel, maybe darken the ceiling tiles. Don't go contemporary. Just a suggestion. . My wife had the chicken and potatoes in a broth. The 2 bites she allowed me, were succulent, wonderfully flavorful, and definitely something unique to our culinary experiences. We'll be back.Kid-friendliness: I would say noisy kids might degrade the adult atmosphere.“
“This was our first time dining here. I am sad that we have not been enjoying this place for years! We started with the escargot and charcuterie board. Excellent. The escargot was exactly the same that we eat in France. We had the trout dish and snapper which were cooked perfectly. I can't wait to return and try more dishes.“
“I stopped by this place by chance the other day and I'm so glad I did! It's a nice bright and welcoming place that's perfect to stop by in the day. The whole place and people who helped me really made me feel at home. The quiche was great and no soggy crust! The red velvet was also really enjoyable but it felt just a little dry to me. I wasn't able to try anything else but I would love to come back and try more!“
“Artisan highly represents French gastronomy in the city.In their new establishment, equipped in the style of a modern bistro, the musical atmosphere and good service accompany the wonderful dishes they serve. There aren't many alternatives to order, so I'll leave you some to start with, the bread and butter are a must, as are the scargots, which are on my list of the best "ever." The Foie is great, as is the Lobster Bisque… go and follow the list.Very soon, you will know more on my YouTube channel #helloaundianywhere we show you what is behind the favorite dishes in restaurants and all the effort they make for our enjoyment.Don't forget to activate the bell so you don't miss a single one.“
“Overall we enjoyed our Easter brunch here. The service was excellent. The cocktails were very good. We probably had the best salmon Wellington ever had , quite delicious. A major downside was our table location in a walkway between 2 dining rooms. I would never have that table again if I return. It's a small area and unpleasant with servers ruching through to either dinning room. In addition, the kitchen had its timing off. Some of my guests were served and others waited for every course. I'm not sure I would return. The meal was good but the dining experience was lacking.“
“Talk about an amazing experience! Late night reservation for two. Such great service from hostess to a very clean bathroom . Food was delicious , hot and presentable. I wasn’t expecting this level of elegance connected to the Galleria Mall. .“
“Decided to stop at this cafe with family, immediately was greeted by three beautiful women. I was directed to the Spice chai latte and they suggested me to try the Belgian waffles they were so good. Great service, was fantastic all 3 were so friendly and talk active it made me feel like I was at home I definitely will come back! 10/10 stars if I could“
“A leisurely early dinner after a matinee was outstanding . Our server Alex provided excellent service with perfect timing. He was attentive without being overbearing. Food was very good and included starters from the Happy Hour menu: eggplant fries and crab cake balls. Menu offers a variety of choices. Generous pours of bubbly served in 7 oz coupes, as well as numerous choices of wine by glass. Great dessert choices as well. Highly recommend.“
“This restaurant is an absolute gem! From its chic decor to its spotless spaces, it’s a feast for the eyes. I stopped by for breakfast and was blown away by the deliciousness on offer. The avocado toast was a winner – perfectly crunchy bread topped with creamy avocado and just the right seasoning. But let’s talk about the coffee Mocaccino – oh my goodness! It was like a warm hug in a cup, with the perfect balance of espresso, milk, and chocolate.Overall, it’s a place I’ll definitely be hitting up again for more of their tasty treats and beautiful vibes.“
“We were greeted by the chef and he was so kind to take our order and give recommendations. I ordered the croque monsieur (added an egg). I love open face sandwiches and croissants do getting this was a no brainer. This looks rich but it didn't leave me feeling guilty. We ordered the berry napoleon which is one my favorites.. flaky and the cream wasn't too sweet. You can tell everything's fresh and home made. The Nutella cake wasn't overwhelmingly sweet and paired well with the latte. I would come back again for breakfast and to try their dinner menu.“
“I recently visited Paris Sweet, a delightful French-inspired cafe in Houston, Texas, and it was a delightful experience. The service was incredibly friendly, making me feel like a valued guest from the moment I walked in.Now, let's talk about the food. Their croissants were flaky, buttery perfection, transporting me straight to a Parisian boulangerie. The macarons were equally impressive, with a delicate crunch giving way to a burst of flavor with every bite. The charming ambiance and attention to detail in the decor added to the overall experience. Paris Sweet is a must-visit for anyone in Houston looking to savor a taste of France with a warm Texan welcome. I’ll be back.“
“We thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday brunch. The food was delicious and the ambience was excellent, but the outstanding service by Alfredo is what really sealed the deal for us! He was attentive and entertaining. He made our day so special. We will definitely be returning.“
“This is one of our favorite restaurants. We had the pleasure of having Josh as our server. He is amazing and gave great recommendations. He made our time enjoyable with his service. We went again for my Bday and asked if Josh was working when we walked in and they said yes. I just assumed because I asked about him that we would be seated in his section. We did not. Though very good service it was not on the same level as Josh. This particular visit we had the Chilled Shrimp Roll & pan Seared Chicken Dumplings for appetizer and they were amazing. I love spicy food and I went with my old stand by Cari Tom. Delicious.“
“Enjoyed a great evening at Brasserie 19. Craft Drinks, Appetizers, and dinner were exceptional. Our table service was provided by Jeffrey who is very professional and personable. The restaurant has a high energy vibe. Great choice for evening out in River Oaks.Parking: During evening, the store parking turns into valet parking. Kroger parking is walking distance to Brasserie 19.Kid-friendliness: Not recommended for small children.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking spots close to front entrance, single floor to patio and inside tables.“
“As always Etoile never disappoints. Once we walked thru the someone was there to greet us and take us to our table. It can get a little noisy in the main room so I would suggest that you make your reservations for the Wine Room if you prefer a quieter atmosphere. The food was wonderful and service exceptional. One of my favorite places to go for a special night out.“
