It was good. They loaded me up with sides and made sure I didn't get ripped off when I tried to order a snack and some extra sides. Go with the plate. The slaw is worth it. I'll be back
Very impressive. I've had fried chicken around the world but this was great, not super greasy and flavorsome. I've never heard of this place before, so not exactly sure about the "world famous" claim.Selected slaw and beans which complimented perfectly. The only thing is the chicken pieces look oddly large which means they're likely hormone pumped.

This place is great. It is becoming harder and harder to find good juicy Fried Chicken on the bone in this town. But Gus consistently has the best juicy Fried Chicken in Houston. With the perfect amount of spice. To top it every single time I’ve been here I have had the nicest wait staff, friendly and genuine. They make me smile and feel good when I leave. Thanks Gus Staff.
