Went here based on the reviews, not sure how this a rated 4 stars I give it 2 and that’s because of the service not the food. We decided on breakfast for dinner. Ordered the Classic waffled with a side of 1 buttermilk pancake. Both items were chewy, dry and bland. The mixture was overworked,(same mixture is used for both) this is a major fail for a restaurant serving breakfast. Also, we ordered the chilaquiles and specifically asked if they used tortillas or chips. I was told tortillas are cut up and fried then sauced…the traditional way not the shortcut way. But I received plate of restaurant style thin chips drenched in green salsa. The over easy eggs were hard boiled no runny yolk. Mentioned it to the chef as the server brought him out. To appease us he gave us a tres leches, was not necessary but nice of him to do so. We just wanted to voice our discontent so that it can be improved. Seems the food execution is an ongoing challenge for them. Not worth the price and waste of food.

Hello just want to let you guys know that my experience at the Homestead Kitchen and bar on Sunday 11/12/2023 12:30 pm the hostesses was not very friendly and seem to have an attitude due to more people with the party came. Second on hand me and my mother order the waffle and chicken at $19.00 a piece was very overrated price, and the chicken was not seasoned at all with extra flour on chicken but a crispy on the outside, no butter had to ask for butter we all know butter comes with waffles and syrup and third on hand why would a restaurant have only one ticket for a group of people for a brunch each person or that a group needs to have their own ticket for their food and not for everybody else food, just because it's a group do not mean everything is together period. I have to say overrated, and the food was not to my standards.
