Came here yesterday for the first time and Damnnn! I’m glad I did, this place is authentic from the food they serve to the building they’re in! So I was in the mood for barbacoa tacos ? and was not disappointed the flour tortillas were homemade and kind of big so two was good enough for me and the barbacoa was super tinder with really good flavor omg so good and the house salsa was good too not to hot very enjoyable also had a fresh lemonade so refreshing and my girlfriend...read full review
This was my first visit to Merida, everything was great until I tasted their complimentary sauce. First of all, it was cold, had no taste of fresh peppers or tomatoes. It tasted more like tomato sauce from a can. Otherwise, food and service were great. I enjoyed the food and if I go back I hope the sauce is a little more spicy.

One of my favorite authentic Mexican restaurants in Houston! The restaurant itself is beautiful inside with a cozy feel, the service is impeccable every time I’m here. The chips and spicy salsa are a great complimentary appetizer (especially the spicy one) and the flour tortillas? Probably the best I’ve had in Houston. Every dish I’ve had has been delicious! There’s a reason they’ve been a staple on Navigation for so long. Highly recommend!
