“We had an amazing experience here! We came for dinner and drinks before going to Discovery Green across the street for Dia De Los Muertos. Beautiful restaurant with delicious cocktails and food! The service was very friendly. We loved the variety of food. Octopus was outstanding! The mole sampler was delicious!

Parking: We used the valet, however if you leave the restaurant they may or may not have parking available nearby.“

“It’s been a few years since a tried Torchy’s because we live close to a Velvet Taco. I have to say Torchy’s is better. Both taco places have good variety and great taste, but Torchy’s has more filling. They really pile it on! Make sure you grab a fork so that you can get it all!“

“Their tacos and service are always on point. But it really is more of a to go place, isn't it? I understand it's just tacos, but either have a bigger sitting area or none at all. And honestly, after twenty years, you would've thought they would've significantly upgraded and made it bigger. They've got plenty of room in the back for it. Idk, just saying. Then again, I only go there when I'm in the area, which is about once every six years.“

“Just tried La Guadalupana for the first time and can say I'm pretty impressed with the Omelette Special I received. Was stuffed with meat, cheese, mushrooms and bell peppers and came with red sauce and a side of beans and tortillas.

Service was really good with the server constantly coming back to clean up small trash and refill our coffees.

Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that they don't offer hot syrup with pancakes, but we also don't try to be difficult when eating at places. Just a suggestion because the pancakes themselves tasted good.

Definitely on the lower priced side but the food was delicious. Will probably be back here soon :)

Parking: The bakery is located in a small parking lot shared with a store so only about 5 spots. Otherwise it's street parking.“

“As a UK visitor. Tex Mex was definitely on the list to try during my trip to Houston.

Great atmosphere. The decor I would have in my minds eye when thinking of a Tex Mex cantina.

Great service. Though we had lunch could see the bar was fully stocked with a large cocktail menu.

Nachos came out which were crisp and not greasy. We ordered extra queso which was thick and full of flavour.

I had enchiladas which is a favourite of mine. Huge portion. Rice was well seasoned. Tender beef brisket with some of the best re fried beans I’ve ever had. The enchilada sauce however was very salty. Probably after reducing during cooking? The quesadillas my friends ordered were amazing. Full of fillings expertly toasted and served with all the trimmings.

Great space and I am sure the salty sauce was a one off.

Some dishes are $40+ though some are great value so can cater for many budgets.“

“The food was exceptionally delicious at a very fair price. I got the migas with bacon and would definitely recommend that to anybody. the salsa and breakfast potatoes were delicious as well. Double bonus was that unlike most food trucks where you didn't have a place to eat, you had the ability to eat at the black hole coffee shop and even brought my food there for me. I would definitely recommend this to anybody and would eat here again.“

“We couldn’t get into Little Hen without reservations, but this was nearby and I’m so glad we got to try it. Get the Burrata Grill Toast!! You will not regret it. It’s on the sweet side, but balanced with the cheese and truffle on top. We also ordered an avocado toast to satisfy a more savory side.

Service was slower than expected because it was a one man show: cashier was also the chef. We decided to eat in person to wait out the traffic and the ambiance was nice because of the recently cool weather. Not the best tacos I've had but a decent place to fill up!“

“I love going to El Rey Taqueria after my hikes at Memorial Park. Nothing like a couple Vegan Cuban tacos after an arduous walk in the Texas heat! Light and fresh, but packs generous protein with the black beans! Yum!

“I don’t know why this place gets a lot of mixed reviews. I’ve never had any problems with the quality in my opinion, it’s not the best place for tacos but it’s also not the worst. I’ve eaten here several times whenever I’m in the area and I get their fajita tacos. I’m an absolute fan of the salsa verde because it’s got a good kick to it. The prices are also very reasonable, parking is easy to find too. I like their horchata as well.

I think a lot of people get confused with all the copy’s of this restaurant. There are a lot of places that name themselves "Tacos La Bala" but they aren’t affiliated with this one. I’ve always eaten at the location on Bellaire Blvd.

Parking: It’s always easy to find parking over here, there is plenty of spots available.

Kid-friendliness: I’ve seen families bring their kids multiple times over here so there shouldn’t be any issues with that“

“Literally the best tacos in Houston! Not greasy, great staff! Very nice! My partner and I are always trying out different taco trucks all around the city of Houston, from places we drive by with a crowd to places recommend to us and those little spots that don't seem to have much traffic. Nothing compares to this hit spot! Highly recommend and almost everyone that I recommend this spot to says the same!“

“Classic Tex Mex spot with Super-Ritas (2-3 you’ll be feeling it), great fajita meat, and delicious homemade tortillas and salsas.

Wait can be tough during peak hours. Surprisingly we were able to get in at 515 with 11 adults/kids on a Thursday.

They put us in the back almost by ourselves, which was nice to let the kids run around and only bother other families.

Service was solid and timely. Went for lunch recently as well and had a good experience. Would def go again

Julian & Gabe were helpful as well with explaining the rules & proper use of the scooters. The rental location on Leeland had a very nice setup & we were surprised that we got free tacos as well. I was impressed by the service the restaurant manager Alberto provided from my initial contact through the end of the event and found him to be professional, trustworthy, and with an outstanding attitude towards his customers. Alberto offered suggestions and took personal ownership. Alberto's team especially Judith who helped with serving food did an outstanding job in making the event a very successful one.
