I am happy to say that the food here is pretty good. I haven't had soul food in quite some time, and their Mac n Cheese and Broccoli cheddar rice was amazing! Strawberry cake with a center that has a different surprise! I will definitely return. The meatloaf was pretty salty, but I also try to stay away from things that are very salty, so it might just be me. Stop by when in Houston!
The food has definitely gotten much better since the last time I came. I think they need more help on the food line because plates were backed up, and the employees kept walking off, leaving us waiting. Everything I had was good, so no complaints about the food itself.

I don't think there's anything here that is not good. The hard part is making a choice of what to eat! I got the oxtails, broccoli rice and cheese casserole, and cabbage. Excellent!!! Oh, and strawberry cake ???
