“The food was very delicious, rice was tasty and meat was fresh and cooked perfectly. I especially liked how the food was packed, despite of large order. Service was also excellent, personnel is friendly and they helped me to take my order to the car. Will definitely come again.“
“Today we had a group meeting lunch, I chose Kasra Persian Grill for its wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Thanks to Mehrdad who helped us having an unforgettable moments and my special thanks to Maria who took care of our orders. She patiently gave us a great service. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for great and high quality food.“
“When I think of Persian, I think of Reza. Succulent and juicy lamb shank, cornucopia of tender grilled meats, pillowy flat breads, aromatic rice complemented by cranberries, and refreshing lemonade. Service is always amazing and a shout out to Kasra and team!“

“Houston's iconic Caspian Cafe offers a handsome venue that transports you to an authentic cafe might find on the Caspian Sea, replete with a delightful array of Persian delicacies that are a true feast for the senses. We ordered lunch for 24 that we had delivered to our ranch in Brenham. Our culinary guide was Zack Bastankha, who proved knowledgeable, insightful and patient. Zack's recommendation's included the classic Persian appetizers served with pita: feta and herbs and radishes, alongside creamy hummus, flavorful tabouli, succulent beef Koobideh, tender chicken joojeh kebab, and savory grilled lamb chops, are all a celebration of Persian flavors. The Jeweled Rice, is a symphony of exotic ingredients (basmati rice, shelled raw natural pistachios, slivered almonds, orange, sugar, matchstick-size pieces carrots, peeled, dried barberries, dried cranberries, sultana raisins, saffron threads, finely chopped, cardamom, ground cumin, and ground turmeric is a standout dish that truly captivates with its vibrant colors and rich flavors. Each dish is meticulously presented and effortlessly enhances the dining experience, making every bite a culinary delight. The seamless drop of each eight quart aluminum container into our chafers added a touch of elegance to an already exceptional meal.“
“I love eating here for dine in or take out. The complimentary bread and salad is always a treat. My favorite items are the kashke bademjan (eggplant dip) and gormeh sabzi (bean and spinach stew)Vegetarian options: Veggie combo is only $12Parking: More parking behind restaurant“
“I’ve been coming here for 25 years and it doesn’t disappoint! Admittedly - it fell out of my rotation a few years back - but they don’t miss a beat. Still delicious food! I always get a kebab combo - this time beef and shrimp - with the must have dill rice (add butter - you’ll thank me!)Love that they serve bread and herbs to every table. Typically add hummus or another dip to go with. One minor thought - they fresh bread is now crispy. It was originally more fluffy and soft, which is my preference.Their iced tea is out of this world - delicious. In previous visits I’ve tried various desserts - including the Persian ice cream. Always delish!“
“This is by far the best Afghan food I’ve ever had. I’ve eaten Afghan food all over the US. All of them were good. But, this was far superior. We ordered quite a few dishes, including beef, chicken, and lamb items. Everything was cooked to perfection. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!“
“They have the best tea. The iced variation was a little bit disappointing- what happened? The food is consistently top notch. I had the flounder. I generally do not like or have rice - but they have something special going on there. Delicious.“
“We, the Rice University Iranian Society, recently organized a Persian New Year dinner for over 200 guests and chose Miri's Kitchen for catering. We were thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service and delicious food provided by Ms. Miri and her team. The quality and generous portion size of the dishes, including beef kabob, chicken kabab, ghorme sabzi, and gheime, were outstanding. One of the highlights was the presence of Ms. Miri herself, who arrived early and personally supervised every aspect of the catering and she provided staff to serve the food, which added to the smoothness of the event. We received numerous compliments from our event attendees, all of whom were thoroughly impressed. We highly recommend Miri's Kitchen for any catering needs and look forward to working with them again in the future.“
“Delicious food with decent portion. This place will not disappoint you with quality and quantity. They have a big comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy tasty Persian cuisine on a nice sunny day and pleasant evening. The service is very friendly and fast. I believe Bijan is one of the best Persian restuarants in Houston.“
“Amazing food!!! I had to grab a quick bite for my lunch break, I needed something fast, healthy, affordable, locally owned business because that’s my value system I LOVE to support my community.Omg the lamb gyro was 5/5 10/10 couldn’t ask for better it was so good I had to come back and drop them a 5 star review, this is DAYS later guys.. Wonderful people very friendly.. I think I waited all of 2-3 minutes for my Togo order, the place was empty sadly!! This is my new gyro spot and I’m telling everybody about it! They should have more business. They’ve earned mine! ???“
“The Pakwan Restaurant is a great place to dine. Super delicious is the food. I just want to close my eyes and dream, while dining. The quality and taste is amazing. For one thing, the restaurant offers great consultation and suggestions, especially on family meals. Also, the welcoming atmosphere is always appreciated.“
“As A TRANS person I was never misgendered at KASRA today . The server I believe is of Turkish background and addressed me as Madam not sir or monsieur . Which happens frequently even if I am in very Feminine attire. And always it’s American born millennials. It’s people from foreign countries who have a thing or two that American Born Hospitality workers need to take note of.. I am not someone that demands to be addressed in my correct Gender. I don’t let it bother me. However your tip does depend upon more than you refilling my tea glass . KASRA has impressed me with their Food more than once already. Todays visit we ordered Lamb and the vegetarian sampler with #’s 1,2,3 The Lamb shank is a fall off the Bone tender succulent piece of meat . The flavor is not overwhelming but in the right proportion. My friend added salt to her rice but I did not. The rice was perfect for me. I saw a review of another place that was critical of that places rice because it wasn’t salty enough. And while eating at Bludorn the table next to me was complaining about the rice being unsalted. Note:Don’t believe half the reviews you read on google . Some people have bad taste and do not know what good food is . But I do … if I say GO! You need to Go! I did 4 FOUR reviews on restaurants in Houston that are James Beard Finalists BEFORE THEY MADE THE LIST !. I broke my Fast of Five (5) Days at KASRA on Sunday , 17th of March . This was a time for inner reflection . I Am 90 days Sober now . . This just was a pure coincidence my fast took place the same time as Ramadan. . First off the starting line ?Thank you for your warm hospitality your food could have been terrible and I would still give 5 stars . I had such an incredible experience, everything was perfect. And the place is beautiful with other happy people. I’m hoping that reading this you will go and spend time here and money. This restaurant should be supported because of the great food and hospitality. The staff just aren’t order takers they are Oder coaches I have a personal life coach that I consult with and now I can count on the staff here to help out with my decisions on food items I have no idea about.“
