“Food was amazing! Vegan options are seasoned well and make sure you’re not missing out. Hope y’all get served by Jeanelle, when I say top tier service! She was so sweet and all of her suggestions and recommendations were on point! Definitely coming back!“
“This has been my go to Vietnamese sandwich place for like 10+ years. The people are nice and super efficient. My favorite sandwich is the steamed pork/xa xiu. Think of it like thinly sliced pork belly with added Asian flavors. The bread is a buttery and crisp French baguette. This is filled with pickled veggies. Their other food offerings taste homemade. No frills. Just tasty! Enjoy!“
“We reserved a room for two hours for $30 an hour . The staff were friendly and helpful. You connect your YouTube to operate the system. The food is reasonably priced, the wings are so delicious. They spicy sesame sauce and soy garlic both taste great. I recommend stopping in with friends .“
“This was on my to-try list and it did not disappoint. Came in with some friends during lunch on a Tuesday and it was slow and quiet. The restaurant is spacious and bright inside. The waitstaff mainly speaks Chinese, but there are tablets you can order from on the tables. I got the beef brisket tomato noodle soup which was really good. The brisket was soft and super flavorful and the soup was tomato-y but did not taste like V8. I added in some of the chili oil and sambal that is provided at the tables and they enhanced the flavor of the soup even more. The bowl is also super large with lots of noodles and vegetables inside, so it was super filling (might even be shareable if you have a small appetite). I tried some of my friend's fish (same soup) and it was super tender and incredibly flavorful--I liked it more than the beef that I had gotten. We also got the brown sugar rice cake which was okay. It was crispy on the outside, but not that chewy. And there was a brown sugar filling on the inside which was super liquid-y and came out hot. The filling did taste a tad medicinal which I did not dislike, but did not like either. Overall, a great experience, will be returning!“
“I left atmosphere blank because I just got my sandwich. I ordered it and had Uber Eats deliver it, but it is the best Turkey & Swiss sandwich I’ve had in a long time. I can tell it’s fresh and I feel totally confident eating it. Which I don’t order food a lot because I’m always afraid of. …. Well, I’m a Germaphobe and super picky so I have a hard time trusting restaurants. My daughter orders from here every time she comes to Houston. Anyway it’s very good.“
“The motif was a little too modern for my tastes. When eating traditional Vietnamese food, is it too much to ask that the atmosphere at least suggest the culture? The service was excellent and the food was decent, but I prefer culture over modern cuisine.“
“I wasn’t sure what to think pulling into this sorta sketchy parking lot off of long point but boy am I glad to have stuck it out. Really fantastic food and service! I had a delicious bowl of chicken pho that came out fast and piping hot. Can’t wait to go back and try more!“
“I can't believe I still haven't wrote a review for Pho Sapa yet. This place is amazing, every time I was there, it is satisfying. The restaurant is clean, staff is friendly, their english is not very good but trying very hard to help you with your questions about food knowledge. My favorite dish is the big beef bone, I think it is a side dish which is about $5, it came in a huge bowl full of big big beef bones. The bones are flavorful, has good amount of meat on it and easy to peel off. I can never finish it and always bring it back to my dog. And my dog loves it too. Their signature item was the dry pho with soup on the side, it came with the special sauce to mix with the dry noodle, side veggies to make the dish more fulfilling.Pho is always great, their soup is clear, definitely brewed a long time not so much MSG taste in it because I don't have to drink so much water afterwards.Price is fair, very good place to have a nice inexpensive lunch or light dinner. Might have to go there early since they do run out of soup.Highly recommended.“
“The saying goes "if you want good Phở, you have to go to Chinatown." Well folks, I live 45 minutes away from Chinatown and I'm glad Pho Ben proved that expression wrong. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic Vietnamese food includes chả giò, gỏi cuốn, bánh mì, cơm dĩa, bún thịt nướng, mì, and phở with prices ranging from $5 - $12. The restaurant is located in the Heights with a modern feel and it's truly impressive that the prices are so reasonable.“
“I’m writing this review a little late. I went in In December with my sister and her friends and tried their broth noodles. We each loved our own choice of soup. I got the ‘kakuni’ it has a salty taste to it which I like when paired with the noodles. My sister got the ‘Niku niku’ this has a flavorful broth. It reminded me a lot of the Vietnamese pho. When I came back with my friends after January I got the ‘mentako cream’ (I think I spelled that wrong) with katsu. I liked the cold noodles, but the noodles weren’t very filling (I could have just been really hungry). The broths were more filling and are still my favorite.“
“The new AYCE menu is a sweet deal and offers super high beef while costing a fair amount of money. Without the AYCE option, it ends up costing too much to feel full here. I like the location being away from main Chinatown area as it has become too crowded and stressful on Bellaire. Would return to Shabu Squared as I was very pleased with the quality and service!“
“I love this restaurant. I've been a customer since they established the location on Barker Cypress. The food taste is like no other Thai restaurant and the owners are awesome. I've tried other Thai restaurants but no other compares to Thai Curry. I will forever be a loyal customer.“
“This is honestly one of my top ramen places that I've tried in Houston. I had heard that the ramen here is very authentic, so I had to try it out for myself. I came here on a week night for dinner, and unfortunately, they were a bit understaffed. There appeared to be only one server for all of the tables, so it did take a while for him to take our order. I'm writing this review a few months later from when I tried this restaurant, so I hope that has changed now. He was very friendly though. I tried the tonkotsu gachi ramen. It was VERY delicious and flavorful. It didn't feel overly heavy like some other ramen places that I've tried. I can say that this does taste pretty authentic. I like the location of this place too because I live around here, and it's easy access for people around the medical center to go to. I hope this place stays here for a while! I would absolutely come back.“
“The Peking Duck tasted good but quite pricey. It’s only allowed to order the whole duck from the restaurant, not allowed to order the half duck. The whole roasted duck is for $45 now, and it came with the duck soup. The flour tortillas for wrapping the sliced duck meat and scallion were too thick and the sauce was a bit salty though. The service here was fine. The staff members came to check on us for several times. But I would not say they were friendly, as I did not see the smile on their face all the time when checking on us. They looked so serious.Parking: The parking lot is quite big.“
“Love love love this place!!! The broth is so delicious no matter what pho you choose. My go to is the combination pho but their banh mi sandwiches are also top tier! The bread and noodles have a homemade taste. The service is impeccable they truly make you feel like family the moment you walk in the door.Wonderful family owned and operated restaurant you can taste the love and pride in every bite!!!“
“Little mom and pop shop/family owned and run with great sandwiches and pho and great prices! Literally $5.75 for an incredible sandwich at the time of the post. Most Pho bowls are $11. They have a kids pho (dine in only) for $5! A great deal!!“
“Ward Café surpassed all expectations for our recent event, particularly our Ramadan Iftar celebration. The food was exceptional, bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The café's ambiance, with its charming hemisphere setting, provided the perfect backdrop for our gathering. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a memorable experience for all. Highly recommended for any occasion. We look forward to returning soon!“
“I Am so happy that I found this Jewel Omalicha Kitchen the food is delicious and the prices are reasonable for a full belly. Lastly, I am going to tell everyone I know than want to experience great hospitality and great African cuisine to visit Omalicha Kitchen.“
“Great flavor but the quantity is a bit small and the price is too high. Normally this plate runs at $12 with more slices on it. Very good flavor, very original but the quantity is very little for the price. Normally a dish like this costs $12 and contains more slices.“
“Great Service Overshadows a Rocky Start at Gringo'sUpon arrival at Gringo's, the initial impression was less than stellar due to an oversight in cleanliness. The saucers intended for chips and queso at our table were noticeably dirty. This was disappointing, and the situation was exacerbated by the host's response when I requested clean plates; his glare was off-putting and made me feel like a bother rather than a valued guest. However, the dining experience took a positive turn with the introduction of our waitress, Bailey. Her attentiveness and genuine helpfulness greatly enhanced our evening. Bailey was quick to address our needs, offered great menu suggestions, and ensured our drinks were always refilled, bringing a warm and welcoming vibe that the host initially missed. The food itself at Gringo's was delightful. The menu offerings were robust, featuring a variety of flavorful dishes that seemed well-prepared and presented. The ambiance of the restaurant, aside from the initial hiccup, was lively and inviting, suitable for both families and groups of friends. In conclusion, while the start of our visit could have been smoother, the excellent service provided by Bailey and the quality of the meals served were enough to leave a positive impression. I rate Gringo's 4 out of 5 stars, as there is a slight room for improvement in ensuring that all staff members contribute to a welcoming atmosphere right from the beginning and that sanitary dishes are used.Kid-friendliness: Kids menus are provided.“
“Hidden gems at the corner and need to be shout out guys!!I have tried multiple times just to explore everything on their menu lol according to the owner, this is a big franchise in Korea and California and they're very first location in Texas.Their signature is Galbi Jim (spicy braised beef rib) and Bossam (premium boiled pork belly wraps), dumplings, noodles and other hot pots are so good.In the beginning, i thought it's expensive since the price on the menu, so I just stopped by to try cold noodle and the original Yukdaejang noodle but i ended up was surprised by the bowl is biggg and i saw the hotpot of another table is huge! So..yeah i came back with my friends and tried several things again and again lolSmall menu, consistent tastes, big portion, and great service. What else are you looking for right? LolP/s: don't forget to get coffee candies when they give you a check“
“It is always a pleasure to go to the Oliven Garden, the quiet atmosphere, it is one of my favorite places. The food is always the best and the soup is exquisite.I recommend it 100%Kid-friendliness: Due to its quiet environment, it is an ideal place for children ?.“
“OMG, THANK YOU #PHOHOUSTON for this delicious and fresh Vietnamese meal. Everything was so fresh &; flavorful. Portions perfect and worth every penny. Even my tomatoes ? on my salad ? were amazing. ? You are now my go-to restaurant on UBEREats when I'm stuck in Houston, around IAH & can't commute home. Again I say ,THANK YOU!!! Real food and healthy ingredients and spices for the WIN!!! Next time I'll get some Pho Ga ?.“
“My family and I have been severely sick for a week and haven't had a decent meal due to the illness' diet restrictions. We ordered from here for pick up, and let me tell you, this blew me away. The food was delicious, fresh, and hot. But aside from that, their to go packaging was superb. They made sure to separate all the pho add ons, including the meat. The pork with rice dish was delicious. The egg was properly cooked. We will be coming here in person in the near future once we recover!“
“In all of my 26 years of all my life, this was the first time I've ever had pho! It was so so soooo good. So much more flavorful than I expected. The chicken was very tender and soft and seasoned very well. The plate was only $8-$9 and ginormous. Service was speedy and efficient. You can tell it's a well loved restaurant because it was packed at 1 pm on a Tuesday. It was extremely clean, and I LOVE that. I also had the coconut drink to drink and it was very very tasty. I will definitely be coming back here for lunch!“
“Authentic delicious Vietnamese food. The menu is only in Vietnamese so we ordered using the food pictures online (Google and Yelp). We got the pork combo, curry seafood udon? (Not spicy), and the congee.Out toddlers liked the udon and congee. Strong Vietnamese coffee as well!Highly recommend and would come back again!“
“A cozy Vietnamese Restuarant in a apartments complex Da Lat. Owners are Super Friendly and my Favorite Bun Riu , Bon Bo Hue were Great! They have big selection and it's like home cooking like Momma doe it!! When we visit my In Laws we're Definitely going again! ??❤“
“The Dixie deli is a great place to grab a sandwich for lunch. They are only open for lunch Monday through Friday. My wife had the lunch special with the ham and American cheese sandwich, and I had the hot roast beef with the au jus. Both sandwiches were excellent!Parking: Easy to get in and out. Just off Dixie Farm Road.“
“Walked in here on a Sunday morning and there was no wait. I placed my order with the staff and I was given a buzzer to let me know when my order was ready. It took about 5 minutes or less to get my order. Before I could even taste it, everything looked delicious. I was super happy they have a combo option because that way I could try their other food items. I don't mind having half a sandwich because the fries were enough with it. The banh mi was amazing! From the bread to the ingredients, I was extremely impressed. The meat and fresh vegetables were a good ratio. The garlic aioli mayo/butter was tasty. The bread, oh my goodness the bread! The bread was the highlight of the banh mi. The inside was soft while the outside was warm and toasted perfectly. I can rarely find a place that serves you fresh bread like they do here. The sidewinder fries were made by order so it came out hot and crispy fried; just the way I like it! My favorite was the Special! I liked the grilled Pork, too. The lychee tea was refillable and that was awesome. There was plenty of space to move around and seats were available outside with a roof.“
“Best pho I've had and had the best customer service. The food is always super good. I've been coming here for over 5 years and the food was always the best. I recommend getting chicken pho. Just like the name pholicious, this pho is delicious!“
“I’ve been a regular at Pho Bhin, and their pho combinations never disappoint! However, I do wish they offered dry chili for those who love extra spice like me. On the bright side, their watermelon smoothie is a delightful addition to any meal. Overall, thumbs up for their tasty pho!“
“As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a welcoming smile. The lady who took our order is very sweet and attentive. We ordered 2 Beef Pho, 1 Wonton Soup, 1 order of Egg Rolls, 1 order of Spring Rolls, and 1 Banh Mi. To drink- 1 Lemonade, 1 SugarCane Juice, and a Dr. Pepper. All the soups were very tasty and served steaming hot. Honestly, one of the best places in Houston to get a delicious Pho. Everything was great, from service to food, to atmosphere. Five Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you! Definitely coming back!“
“I just recently went in April 4th for lunch time and I was blown away by the service I received from Nathan G. Not saying that whenever I come here, I don’t get great service but today it was exceptional. He went above and beyond, and he accommodated everything that we asked for and no situation that I have to ask for more soup or breadsticks. He was already on it and he seen that I really enjoyed cheese on my soup and my pasta so with no questions asked, he made sure that he kept going until I said stop With more employees like him I will definitely be back more often“
“I've gone to to pho tau bay ever since I was little and still today the food tastes amazing and still is up and running. I am very happy that the restaurant and its recipes are the exact same no changes still the same amazing taste. Service could use some work but overall no complaints. Five starts.“
“So happy to have found this place via a recent recommendation who raved about their dumplings & kalguksu (Korean noodles in hot soup). My wife & I ordered the 2 hot soups & dumpling combo (which offers a $4 saving) and my son ordered the galbi (Korean BBQ shortribs). The food was on point in terms of genuine Korean food taste & the portion size was pretty decent at a reasonable price in this day & age. I also enjoyed the kimchi that was served as a side dish so much that we took the leftovers in a to-go box! I would definitely like to return to try the other menu items!“
“Update - Service has improvedThree stars only because the food taste good. Otherwise it will definitely be closer to one for the experience. Used their online order platform to place pickup order at 11:50 am and their confirmation said ready in 20 minutes. Arrived at the restaurant and the food wasn’t ready per the waitress. She said needs another 10 minutes. So no problems there, although it looked like the order was never entered or started. Restaurant wasn’t too packed at that time. 20 minutes later food haven’t finished and the waitress did apologize for the wait. Another 10 minutes and I see food getting packed thinking order is finally ready, but found out all the items getting packaged was for a take out order for a dine in customer. That’s the first issue: if there was such a large togo order, why would you tell a customer 10 more minutes. After another 10 minutes another customer receive their Togo order I approached the waitress and questioned my order, she mentioned 3 more minutes. Second issue is the wait time, 20 minutes online order and another 45 minutes at the store with total wait time of an hour. Once I opened the box another surprise; 1. the order mentions no green onions for one of the items and 2. I was given the wrong item, one of the order was supposed to have ribs. Basically had to wait an hour to get the wrong order.During current times, really want to support local businesses. But businesses has a responsibility to ensure order is correct and order ready time is accurate for the customer.“
“This place was so good I was craving some good pho and they did not disappoint! ?? I also had the pork spring rolls and they were really good too I had mine with fish sauce but the peanut sauce is good too. Very good all around and cheap I will definitely be back!“
“Stopped in for a quick lunch with my husband. The interior was clean and inviting. Our waiter was courteous and friendly. And the food did not disappoint. We had the grilled pork and grilled chicken rice plates. Great flavor and presentation. Definitely a must try if you're in the area !“
“This food truck is a far distance from us, but it was worth the drive to check out. The tacos and quesadillas were delicious, and they also had Mexican coke, even the fruit punch one! The only thing that left us sorta disappointed was the semitas poblanas, which didn't taste like the original thing from Puebla. But other than that, this place was great!“
“This is a super chill place!! Food is amazing! if you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food, this is the place! I love their Cha Gio! They are some of the best I’ve had! Delicious bahn Mi and pho! The iced chai tea is also so good!!!“
“I come here every week for lunch due to proximity to my office. Not only do I just love their options, but in this particular location, the staff is amazing! They always greet you as you walk in and always have a kind and happy to help attitude. Decimo, the general manager runs such a great establishment & is not only always so friendly and efficient, he is always helping the staff with whatever they need. A great lunch spot, thanks for the great service!“
“I eat a lot of pho. I loved this one. Broth is delicious. Chili oil is tasty too. And of top of tasty food is cheap. 13 dollars for pho and Thai iced tea. I love this place. 10 out of 10. May God bless the vietnamese people for providing us with tasty pho. May I also include: bone marrow soup is amazing from here. ♥️“
“First time going and it did not disappoint. I got the shaking beef and it was so tender, you could cut it with a fork. The fried rice was well seasoned and they bring you more salt and pepper on the side, just in case. The cucumber lemonade is a MUST. Very good experience here.“
“The best bun bo hue I've ever had. I asked for extra fatty broth. It was to die for. So yummy! They don't even have a menu here. Just BBH and maybe pho I think. I should have ordered some BBH to go. They were so busy on a random Tuesday afternoon.“
“The reviews on the kimchi is true, one of the best I’ve had from a Korean restaurant. The atmosphere clean and the service is very kind and attentive. The portions are huuge! I actually accidentally came here because I typed in the wrong directions for a different Korean restaurant but decided to take a risk since I saw that this restaurant was rated highly. Let’s just say I won’t be going to the other restaurant anymore and will be coming here for my Korean cravings from now on!!!“
“Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I had an amazing experience at Salata! The salads were incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. The variety of toppings and dressings was impressive, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend trying their Caesar salad with grilled chicken - it was absolutely delicious! ?“
“This is my favorite Chinese place in all of Houston. Ive been eating here for 15 years. I usually get Singapore noodles or the Kung pao chicken with white rice. You can adjust the spice level and it doesn't make you feel super heavy. The portions are very good for the price.“
“Food, Service, and Atmosphere are great. Owner of restaurant named Jimmy also helps out with cooking and other necessary hands on duties to achieving a productive work day. He is very hard working, humble, down to earth, family oriented, friendly, and a sense of humor. He and all his staff have great customer service. One of the best Restaurants out there that deserves to succeed in a very competitive and challenging economy.“
“Ambience was great, I thought their set up was really cool, kind of like an assembly line. Staff were very friendly and warm. Vietnamese beef (Bo Kho) had deep rich flavor, and meat was very tender. I would only suggest adding a noodle option to go with it. Egg rolls could use some improvement compared to Pho Ben’s on N Shepherd which is my current gold standard. They weren’t as hot and crispy and didn’t come with the usual pickled carrots/daikon and herbs. All in all I would definitely go back to try more things.“
“Quiet, clean, mellow atmosphere, attentive service, not too pricey, and incredible food. Best Thai restaurant I’ve been to stateside, this place is a gem, and they can leave the gluten out of your meal too.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options for many items on the menu“
