“We enjoyed the meal however the chef came around to the tables and was quite rude and wouldn't let the women talk and bullied us into getting three desserts. The key lime pie had nuts in the crust which my son had an allergic reaction too.“

“I've been wanting to stop by here for some time and they did not disappoint! You order at the counter, receive a number, and have a seat while they prepare your order. Service was fast and the food was delicious. We had the empanada flight...All of them were great! We had the oxtails with sweet potatoes and greens. The oxtails were very well seasoned and super tender. The greens and sweet potatoes remind you of those an old country grandmother would make for Sunday dinner. We also got the grilled fish and shrimp. It was tasty , too, but the oxtails were definitely my favorite. We've already been back and I'm sure we'll go back again. I highly recommend if you're in the mood for some good southern comfort food.“
“My wife and I had an exceptional dining experience at MAD. Cameron was an amazing server with an engaging and relaxed personality combined with very competent execution. The food was also exquisite. We started with the croquettes and scallops and had the surf and turf paella. We enjoyed some of the best bites of food in a long time. Highly recommend MAD and Cameron.We’ll be back!“

“Great smoked wings that are an alternative to they typical fried ones. Ran into their truck at Buffalo Bayou Visitor center and hit the spot after a long good walk. They serve whole wings so don’t be deceived when you only see a few wings for a higher price (think double). Good range of sauces to choose from or ask for a mix (recommend lemon pepper and hot). Also somehow have a good tasting meatless dirty rice worth trying. Looking forward to visiting them again next time.“
