I had won a staycation package and we decided to try the restaurant. It was really good. We chose the menu giving back to the Houston Food Bank where we each chose an appetizer, main course and dessert. We each chose something different so we could share. 1st was steamed mussels and an heirloom tomato salad. I didn't care for the mussels but the sauce they were in was really good. My husband and I went here when they had the old Menu. More options...I ordered the fried green tomatoes and it was ok...I could Have paid half the price for a much better version of this dish. It was ok...not as great as it used to be

I've never been let down by this place on my lunch break. I've had the pastor, mole verde, pollo and beef fajita, and even some of their breakfast tacos. They're always delicious and filling, and that means a lot coming from a 6'7" yeti like me. The cook speaks English well enough to take your order. Try the dark red salsa, it's the best.
