Love the pizza. Hard to find pizza of this quality and style in Houston since Cane Rosso closed but we're lucky to have Gypsy Poet fill that void. Plenty of beverages to choose from at the restaurant as well.
The hype of this place is real. It’s an elevated pizza and salad that you want to have every day but they are closed Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday they are open at 5pm-8:45.Friday they are open 12pm-2pm and again at 5pm-9:45. Saturday 2pm-9:45 and Sunday 2pm-8:45. So we can’t have it everyday. I loved the portello salad and we got the Margherita “The Queen” and the Fancy Backpacker. I will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

I get the hype. Portobello salad? So delicious! I think what really stands out for Gypsy Poet is their fresh ingredients and aesthetic placement of the food. Might be more to it since I’m only basing it off of first impression, but I’ll definitely be coming back. Yes, coming back specifically for that portobello salad!
