The drive through was in fine working order with the order taking, money receiving, and food delivering operating like a well rehearsed ballet. Or perhaps it is a restaurant in deed, but of the original French meaning of a place to be restored. And restored I was after eating that McDouble! “Went today with my wife daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons ages 5 and 3. My daughter had been raving about this place for months so I decided to try it. Without a doubt best burger ever. meat was great, bun was toasted, crinkle fries were warm and crispy and bacon was perfect. I've been to Jake's, JB's and all the others that supposedly off the best. No questions the best of the best is the Lily Pad!!!“

“If you had not tried RULE THE ROOST yet let me tell you, you’re definitely missing out. The atmosphere is wonderful. The customer service is superb! The food is out of this world. Way better than Chick-fil-A ever could dream of being. When you first walk in you see there logo and big red neon lights! A very sleek and clean Restaurant. The chicken strips I could only eat two. They were so huge, juicy and tasty. Let me tell you. I literally feel as I have been kissed by angel because the sweet tea was perfect.“
“Jake's is a pretty cool place to hang out. There is a great outdoor seating area, Cornhole boards, space for kids to run and play (fenced for safety). We had about a five minute wait on a Saturday around 7p, for a table of five people.The staff was friendly and attentive, and generally seemed to enjoy themselves.The food was tasty. I had a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and it didn't disappoint!I definitely recommend giving it a go!“
“Roo's has quickly become our favorite local restaraunt in Weatherford. We have dinner at Roo's most Friday nights. We have never waited for a table, the servers have always been prompt and pleasant, and the food quality is excellent with large portion sizes on most entrees. “Came out to Weatherford early on a Saturday morning to hit an estate sale and dropped into this joint for a quick breakfast. Outstanding little cafe. Good food, wait staff is engaged and friendly. Had to shim my table after it rocked and I drowned the paper sheet menu with my coffee but what the heck lol. This is where you want to eat breakfast on the square in Weatherford!“
“This is a neat little museum. Some interesting automobiles tied to history and a few interesting autos tied to local history such as an antique Weatherford Fire Truck that has been restored or maintained in excellent condition. If you are a car guy or gal and or love history stop by. The place is immaculate and the cars are beautiful. It reminds us how car builds from back then seem more artful today. BTW, it’s free. They do have a donation box at the front if you want to contribute to sustaining the facility.“
“Holy hell. We are brewery addicts and on the way back from Rocker B Ranch with my son playing baseball, we passed edgewise eight brewery. We were both like, hey, let's make the circle here and try it out. So, that what's we did. Oh. Em. Gee. I am so glad we did. Nestled inside the brewery, is Firefly Grilling. Everything in the menu sounded tasty af. Myself, my girlfriend and our son, all ordered 3 different things. The burrito, the elites, and the birria enchiladas tacos. Wow. The flavors are just, absolutely ridiculous. So dayum tasty. I could have literally made myself sick. I am a foodie and eat out quite a bit. Hands down, some of the best food I've ever eaten in my life. Go now. Grab an amazin beer, order anything from here, and settle in to be highly impressed.“
“Being one of the few Steak 'n Shake left, it is nice that the quality is still there. Miss the non fast food atmosphere that this chain provided in the past, but I'll take what I can get. If you're in the area, give it a try.“
“I really enjoyed my cheeseburger with bacon and fries. The fries were crisp and hot. The burger was made with fresh ingredients. Service was attentive and fun.However I did find out the dining room is open from 11am-8:30pm whereas the drive-thru is open from 10am-9pm (10pm Friday and Saturday). Google has the time wrong.“
“I stumbled upon this amazing cafe tucked inside of a gas station. I've been working in the area for 3 weeks and I think I've ordered a cheeseburger at least 3 times a week. The owners are super friendly. The employees always look happy to be at work. I came in one day right as they were closing and cleaning and the chef offered to cook me a burger anyway. I told him it was okay but he insisted. Literally made my day. For the quality of the food you'd expect a higher price point! I'm a new loyal customer!“
