“I have been going here for almost 20 yrs once every 2 or 3 months when I get a craving for sushi and they have never disappoint. Always consistent quality and freshness. My sons first sushi experience was here when he was 10, and he does not like to go anywhere else since. He's now 18 and still a fan.“

“Excellent service and delicious food. Was not expecting the sushi boat, that was really fun! They make an excellent spider roll, and despite being a little spicy the Red Devil roll was surprisingly nuanced. On the one hand, the small venue is low key and family friendly, but this food feels fancier than the current venue. Still, good value for the cost if you want a relaxed date or low key special occasion with super tasty, world class sushi!Kid-friendliness: Seriously, kids will get a kick out of the giant sushi boat! And Tempura makes vegetables tasty for any palet.“

“Came in for lunch on a Saturday and sure glad we did! Service was great and they are very accommodating for anyone with food allergies. We decided to go with the street food since it's only offered Thursday-Saturday Order chicken satay moo ping pad ka-prow I'd start the pad ka-prow, bench the moo ping, and cut the satay. The moo ping is close to being a starter for me as it was very delicious! Prices are fair and plenty of parking. Will be back for more street food!“

“The Vegan Roll was delicious, but it was the only thing marked vegan on the menu. They could mark their menu better and offer more options to people who avoid animal products. When asked to make a vegan option for the tofu dish, they obliged.“

“Took my son to celebrate his 15 year birthday.Sushi is well made but very expensive. $280 (not including tip) for a family of 4 with 1 beer. Maybe I will be back once a year… about $24-$28 per roll!If money is not a problem, then yes, I would recommend…“

“Staff were very kind, helpful and attentive. We really enjoyed the three house rolls that we tried, especially the Volcano and the Everest, as well as the fried calamari. We sat at the bar, and while the place wasn't fancy it was comfortable and we really enjoyed the food. We will definitely be back.“

“Came here for lunch cause I was craving warm Korean food. Ordered the spicy kimchi soup and the beef bulgogi bibimbap. Service was great and quick. The food was better than I was expecting and the portions were huge. Ended taking more than half home. Also ordered the galbi and I was impressed by how well it was cooked. It's nice to find good options north of Austin and I will definitely be back soon.“

“FANTASTIC! I am very skeptical about my sushi and probably would've never eaten in a strip mall had the reviews (and word of mouth) not been so good. It did not disappoint! The place was so cute and impeccably clean. Staff was prompt and friendly. Bento box and spicy chicken ramen were superb. We had the longhorn roll and the dang good roll (highly recommend both). Kirin Ichiban beer on tap was a treat. We couldn't believe we got it all for around $50. We will be frequenting here instead of our old tried and true fancy $u$hi places! So happy it's in our neighborhood.“

“A nice quaint place that was very very clean and organized. Excellent service from door to table, and the menu was well organized and a lot of great options not only for Ramen, but for milk tea as well if you're a milk tea lover! The ramen was well done, very tasty, flavorful, and a good amount a chicken. Besides a little more moisture in the chicken, it's a great spot to get your ramen fix!“

“This is a to-go review. I ordered 2 appetizers and 2 classic rolls. The price was affordable and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the pork &shrimp dumplings in garlic chili oil. They were absolutely delicious. The eel and cucumber roll is my favorite roll. It, too, hit the spot with deliciousness. If you like sushi and affordability, definitely check this place out! Can't wait to dine in and try some sake.“

“I found this restaurant because I had to pick up something from someone that I needed to get back, and glad that I did.Very nice decorations, the covers on the booths could use replacing, but overall a nice looking place. You get menus and a silver bowl when you walm in, they take your drink order and anything that you order from the menu which has appetizers and different types of sushi on it, they advertise special drinks, but the drink menu on the table doesn't have any listed. You go to the line, start choosing your protein and other ingredients and then put it on a tray, grab the number on it and g ok to your table and place it in the holder to have the waitstaff bring it to you. Everything was fresh, delicious and prepared perfectly. The choice of the many sauces and different types of noodles was especially nice. All in all, a great meal that will have me coming back for more.“

“We've been here a handful of times, never disappoints. But tonight, tonight we had Vegas Mike firing it up for us. Just wow. Great personality, performance and energy. We came in a little late and we were treated as if we were his first guest. Thanks man! We will see you in Vegas!“

“I used to be a regular here and consistently had a nice culinary experience. Excellent sushi here, it's always very fresh and creatively (and colorfully) presented on the plate. The Out of Control is by far my favorite roll here. It's mouth watering and delicious. I had never had sushi that had cherry tomatoes on top of it before, it's unique interesting.I have not yet tried the all you can eat meal experience, but plan to do that potentially sometime in the future. And the service was great as well, especially the last time I visited the service was on point. Will definitely return and recommend for a local sushi spot.“

“Well, let's try this the second time I think I added too many pictures and videos and it got stuck in my phone and when I had to shut the phone off I lost the review!!!!Anyway, my daughter had decided to have a small gathering in memory of her son who passed away December 2022, and whose birthday was St. Patrick's Day. She made reservations and determined that a Teppanyaki table accommodated 10 people. It ended up being perfect for our group.I have been here many times as it's an absolute all-time favorite of all of our grandchildren so we celebrated many birthdays through the years ,here .The hubster is not fond of it as he feels like it's expensive, but he does not take him into consideration that you're getting a show with your meal !! Part of it is that he doesn't eat rice and he's not fond of the Teppanyaki style cooking!!! Now for the positive there is another menu available and it offers sushi that is good quality so that's what he orders when we go there. My daughters 86-year-old mother-in-law also ordered off the menu and had a appetizer of coconut shrimp with a green salad and their delicious ginger dressing and she was very satisfied with her meal..That left eight of us that decided to have Teppanyaki, and once the staff took our protein orders ranging from lobster to steak, shrimp and chicken--we all were excited as our our talented chef arrived at the griddle .During the initial part of the show, (when there's lots of fire) out server was delivering bowls of hot broth and iceberg lettuce salad with that delicious ginger dressing they make !!! Those come along with all Teppanyaki meals. Leaving some pictures and videos below so you can see part of our showOur heavenly grandson used to love coming to Tokyo steakhouse for the show and for the food!!! I can't even tell you how many bowls of fried rice he would eat!All of our meals were good and proteins were prepared and we received exactly what we ordered. Stack of griddled vegetables was also cooked along with a huge mountain of fried rice. Complete with all the yummy things that go in it, especially eggs.We enjoyed the show. We all had great memories to share. If you do have a birthday in your party, there is a special celebration where some of the staff come over with Japanese drums and sing, happy birthday and present you with a complementary dessert.I had visited with our chef a little bit and determined that he had three years of training before he was able to come out in front of a griddle that contained paying guests .We all had a good time, the food was good if a little pricey, and the atmosphere is a lot of fun. Try it for a special occasion we think you'll enjoy it.!!!“

“Excellent. The staff was so nice, the food was wonderful. Probably the best crab Rangoon I’ve had. Very mild and different, but delicious. Wish I ordered two servings. Had 3 types of cooked sushi (or whatever) and it was delicious. Can’t wait to return. Definitely worth the visit.“
