“The food was great, but the poor lady up front barely understood english. She did not understand that I wanted the Dr. Pepper left in the can instead of poured in a cup because it was a to go order. She thought I was asking for diet Dr. Pepper instead which they don't even have.“
“What a gem! The absolute best bahn mi in Austin! Plus they have espresso/coffee drinks now! And they give you a free cup of soup while you wait. Their new renovations also improved the atmosphere in a big way.The owner makes her own bread everyday, in addition to the entire pastry case (don’t leave without a dessert)!!I love going here for business meetings or when I’m meeting up with friends for lunch. Nobody I’ve taken here ever goes there and leaves unimpressed.I love the pork belly bahn mi & her sesame sweet bread. The owner always recognizes me when I come in & memorized my order. :)“
“Truly some of the best Asian food I've had in my life. This place absolutely blew me away. I had the mango beef with steamed rice and it was amazing. The steamed rice was so fluffy and soft and moist and delicious, although it's just simple white rice and was not even meant to be the star of the dish, it completely blew me away. It's the best rice I've ever eaten. I feel like it's a true testament to how talented the cooks are. If they can make just plain white rice so delicious, you know everything else is going to be fire. The flavors in the mango beef were phenomenal as well. I will definitely be back. Of course I wish it was slightly more affordable but you get what you pay for. I can't believe this is just a food truck and not a full restaurant. They are amazing cooks and they're also very kind and the service was fast. I almost never leave reviews but I was so blown away that I knew I needed to. Thank you for a delicious dinner!“
“Super fast, friendly, delicious, and it is like they are choreographed when I come in. They know just where I prefer to sit, that I need a fork for my pho noodles, extra bean sprouts/cilantro/thai basil, ice water, a bag when I'm done. They notice if I am not there once a week, and take their time getting to know me. They make people feel special, and are always warm and welcoming. It has been a joy getting to know Thach, Nick, Hal, and An.“

“It's so delicious, everyone. Remember to buy sour soup with braised fish and stir-fried vegetables. It's delicious. Went in to try it for the first time and was so lucky to buy delicious food. Finally bought it home 3 hours ago for dinner. In Houston, I haven't seen any place that can cook this well“
“My husband & I were in from out of town. We came upon this restaurant and we were so glad we did! It was everything one wanted as far as food, atmosphere, staff friendliness, etc. I had leftovers & ate them at the hotel cold, even cold was so good. The best Chinese food we’ve had in a long time.“
“The staff was awesome and friendly. The Pho was really delicious. The wings were not as great, half of them had broken/sharp bones. The seating is SUPER uncomfortable which is likely done on purpose so folks won't overstay, but c'mon... would it kill them to put some cushions on those cold metal chairs? Even with their short-comings, we'll go back for more Pho in the future!“
“Odd little place but this is definitely the BEST Phó I’ve had in Texas in the last 8 years. Some of the items are overpriced in my opinion. The Phó is reasonable.I would suggest cleaning the bathroom, it’s dirty. The light switch had dirty marks all over it, the rest of the bathroom is dark tones so it’s difficult to see the dirt.“
“Frank & Sandi: We've been in Taylor for a little over a year; were disappointed that there were very few Asian food outlets here. This little place is like an oasis in the desert! We had the steamed dumplings, the charbroiled combo of chicken & pork, and the orange chicken with fried rice. Taylor needs to come out and support this place! Very good!“
“My family wanted some delicious Pho, and since we have eaten here before, this time was carryout. I believe I may have met another family's as well. The father, daughter, and son.. I was greeted kindly , the food was ready, and the son helped me carry to my vehicle since I'm disabled. We all shared, and the food was delicious! I will definitely dine I'm or carry out again.. thank you for the helpVegetarian options: Veggies everywhere.. just combine and your good.“
“This place is named Tru Boba Cafe, not Banh mi ngon that Google has it currently labeled as. I submitted an edit with pics. The pork Bahn mi was delicious, crispy toasty roll, and slightly sweet sauce and fresh ingredients. Friendly staff.Wheelchair accessibility: Small curb ramps from car park to store front sidewalk, and no step into the shop.“
“I love this establishment, if you want the best pho in town come here. Ask for the fatty broth if you want full flavor ! ?Parking: Front and back of restaurant, entrance at the front only.Kid-friendliness: They were very kind to my son, and I see their son in here often.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“BY FAR my favorite restaurant for pho!! A little expensive sometimes but always worth it! I have been going here for about 3 years now and they do not fail me ever! There was one recent hiccup and I feel bad for how I reacted but I still really love this place and still have their shirt from 3 years ago (I dont think they sell them anymore sadly). I will definitely stay loyal to them for special occasion Pho though!Parking: Parking is usually pretty open honestly, I havent gone on a Friday night in a long time but the dinner hour on Fridays and Saturdays are usually the busiest I remember!“
“We live less than 10 minutes from this place and have never been in until just recently. My only regret is that we haven’t been coming here for years! The food was great, the service was friendly, and the restaurant was nice and clean. Our server was very polite and made a great recommendation. I had the pan fried noodles with beef, chicken, and shrimp, and my girlfriend had soup with tons of noodles and shrimp dumplings. The food came out super fast fast, there are awesome soup spoons available on the table, and hoisin, soy sauce, and sriracha to add as you please. This is definitely a great place for the family or for date night!“
“Nice no-fanfare spot with homely, fresh, delicious food, and priced right. There are tons of options on their vast menu for vegans, vegetarians and non-veg folks alike, and you can get chili oil on the side if you need some more spice in your food. We’ll be back for fuss-free fresh food on days we don’t feel like cooking at home!“
“I ordered the vegetable pho and vegetable spring rolls. My pho bowl was loaded!!! Definitely worth the $13!. However, the spring rolls only had lettuce, noodles and tofu in it. I was expecting more veggies in the roll minus the noodles. You have to ask for the fish sauce. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere was clean and relaxing. I will definitely go back!!!“
“clean, spacious restaurant with plenty of seating. I don't know if it's because I eat at weird times or not, but I don't usually see very many people eating at the restaurant.staff are always quick n' friendly.i order pretty frequently from here-- is it the best Viet/Chinese food in the Hutto area? nah, but it does hit the spot when i need something ASAP. (still wouldn't recommend the pho, but I'm picky...maybe it's better eating at the restaurant). the food is always packed well, and I'm happy with the collection of soy sauce packets I've accumulated. The fried rice portions are MASSIVE. For the people in the reviews complaining about the protein ratios, just order extra protein with it-- I find that improves the ratio. The price for fried rice seems kind of steep, but one to-go portion is like 3 meals for me, so it's nice.the wonton egg noodle soup is alright. The broth is light and clear, and I'm glad they oil up the egg noodles so it doesn't stick into a big egg dough ball during transit. not my favorite wontons since it's very pork-forward and doesn't have the "bouncy" texture I think wontons should have, but it gets the craving. it was also an interesting choice to pack pho dressings with it (bean sprout x basil x cilantro x hoison x sriracha), but it's no biggie. portion was good for 1.5 meals for me.The milk teas here are on the sweet side, even after adjustments. The tea flavors are also on the weaker side. I'm not a huge fan of that, but you may be.Parking: lots of parking -- don't worry about not being able to have a spot“
