“Willie's Place came as a recommendation from a couple of guys I work with. As luck would have it my wife & I found it by accident as we were driving around town. After an appointment this afternoon I looked up Barbecue Restaurants Near Me on Yelp! and Willie's Place Ranked top of the list. It's a rather small place & looks a little weathered on the outside, enough so, that my Thai wife gave me that "look" as we pulled up. I told her that places like this are the best kept secrets in the U.S. When you walk in you are immediately overwhelmed by the wonderful smell of smoked brisket. The menu is on the wall and there are more hamburgers available than you probably thought possible. Or at least more than I thought possible. Next time I go back I'm going to close my eyes & just point to one. And the BBQ. My wife had the Big Rib Plate & I had the Three Meat Plate (ribs, chopped brisket & sausage). We both had a side of potato salad & baked beans. There was absolutely; nothing we could complain about. The baked beans were piping hot, the potato salad was delicious & the ribs...the ribs practically fell off the bone. THAT tender. The chopped brisket & sausage was delicious as well & I think my preference may lie with the brisket. At the time I ordered the brisket the gentleman taking my order (Willy himself? I should have asked) informed me that the only brisket they had at the moment was chopped as the sliced brisket was being smoked. After our plates came out he brought out a few slices of brisket that my wife & I shared. We thought that was pretty nice. While Willie's Place is small it is warm & down home comfortable. I can't remember if they have bottled beer or not but they do have Coke products & iced tea. One last thing: our two plates + two sides + two sweet teas (free refills) cost us $40.00. My plate alone was $20.00 but it came with plenty on the plate. Chopped brisket, sausage, ribs, a bowl of baked beans, potato salad, a slice of Texas Toast & a side of BBQ sauce. It was worth it. All of it. And the wife was happy too. Long review. Great food. We'll be back. One last thing: Best barbecue we've had since we moved to Wichita Falls.“
“I was so happy to have real Mexican food outside of Southern California! The indoor is quite comfortable and convenient, since meals are delivered to your table and can be picked up via drive thru. The chips and horchata were fresh, as some Mexican restaurants buy their premade products. Tacos flameados were great tasting. It makes me want to come back to try their other dishes!“

Our appetizer "The Trio" was the bomb & would go back if ever in the area just for that , it definitely could be a shared as a meal all in itself.... It was NorthSide nachos, sampling of chicken dillas, & their famous gimongous fried cheese sticks. Hubs had CFS ,potatoes & house salad ~ I will say he was a Lil disappointed in the CFS after it being hyped as the best in the area but enjoyed & finished it all the same lol. I had the "Ultimate" a chili cheese dog with onion & jalapeños on top a bed of queso / chili french fries!! ( don't tell my cardiologist) But YUM!!“

“This was my first visit here & was a bit disappointed. We were bringing lunch to an ill friend who requested a cheeseburger. Typically I don't go to fast food places, but I came here thinking they might have a better product. The meat was very thin & cooked crisp so it tasted odd. I am used to the beef we use to raise so maybe I'm just out of touch with what people eat as hamburgers nowadays.“

“I have a love-hate relationship with Red. Robin, mostly because half the time the burgers are super expensive and the other have the time they're running specials like $10, gourmet cheeseburger Tuesday and so like on Tuesday. It's a real good place to go get a hamburger but any other day of the week my friends be taking me and I'm trying to get hamburger and it cost like $18 and that's no bueno. But I'll say this the quality of the burgers is good. The endless french fries is pretty good too, but it's terrible if you're on a diet, so be careful with those. Remember to be counting your calories while you're eating them. French fries. I think each french fry a baskets like 350 calories. So you know you got to be careful. You like six of those and you're like done for the day. Anyhow, the food is good. Appetizers are generally pretty good. The service is amazing and all around pretty good restaurant but don't let my friends hear me say that because they think I hate it because I don't want to go there every 5 days. Anyhow, I definitely recommend it and y'all are doing great. Keep up the good work! Oh and the manager was so nice. She came up to us and talked about MSU for like a solid like 5 minutes, but I'm pretty sure if we didn't want him to. He probably wouldn't have stayed that long. “I have to say this IHOP on Southwest parkway has one of the best teams I've ever encountered in this genre of restaurant. The Belgian waffle we ordered today extra. Chris was one of the most delightful pieces of food I have had and I have eaten at some exceptional fine dining places including Eddie V's in La Jolla, California. The hamburger was done to perfection. A juicy delicious burgers served on a perfectly grilled brioche bun. I requested Fry's extra crispy and the only other fries. I've tasted this well done before and this tasty was at the 2011 bistro in downtown Wichita Falls a few years ago. THIS IHOP should be to go to destination for anybody traveling through town and needing to grab a meal to a weekly favorite for families. Terry was our server and she is experienced friendly and the finest server in town. You need to go and enjoy!“
