“I see why this place has a pretty high rating; we had a selection of tacos and a torta and all were delicious and made to order, and server at window was friendly. However, be aware that it’s walk-up service with a couple of picnic tables out front, and looks kind of deserted.”

“I definitely recommend this place. The tortilla soup was great and actually had a generous amount of chicken. It was a bit spicy but that didn’t stop my 12 year old from enjoying it. The horchata is incredible. It’s the best I’ve had in a while.The burrito, street tacos, and quesadillas were also very well made. We ordered at the drive-thru window and the food was ready promptly. The staff was friendly. Everything was great. My family loved all of the food and especially the queso. I look forward to trying the breakfast tacos :)”

“Best chorizo burro around! Doesn't matter if you use the red or green sauces because they're both flavorful. Careful with the red, it has some heat to it. Looking forward to trying more from them”

“Ive been there a few time lately and I'm pleased with the service. One thing that has gotten my attention is that I've asked some workers how their job experience is and some have told me that their manager doesn't let them get lunch brakes through the entire day. Maybe take a look into that but besides that I love the service provided!”

“I've been getting donuts from here regularly this past week with my daughter in the mornings. The donuts are excellent and the cashiers are always very friendly. They even gave me a complimentary glazed donut with my dozen this weekend. I'll continue getting all my donuts from this shop.”

“Such a cute small shop! The lady was really sweet, kinda shy but nice nonetheless. And omg the mangonadas were fantastic! I got a couple paletas to take home to my daughter and they were all just so good! We'll definitely be going back more often!”

“Stacy was great. Real early, she was alone and running the whole place exceptionally well. Very kind with kids, greeting regulars and making new friends. More of an old diner experience than a Denny’s. Food was fresh and fast. Great place for a pitstop when in the area.”

“Unfortunately I returned to El Pitayo today and found the visit wanting.I come from a background in customer service and never understood why a business like this with so much potential doesn't monitor their employees service and attitude. The young man who waited on us for the majority of time was trying and for the most part did well considering it was obvious he didn't have any training.The waitress who was occasionally helping him and as I understand, has been there for a while, has the worst customer service skills a waiter can have.SMH! The owners need to follow up more often or atleast worry about their business.Coffee was Luke warm and food was cold.Unfortunately I won't be returning anytime soon...”
